How many guests do I invite?

I‘m celebrating my 18th birthday in this discobasement with outside area and entrance. How many people should I invite to give it a proper party vibe and a chance of it almost escalating? The room is 40 squaremetres. (Rental said 40 people but that would be packed)

Do you ever not like your best friend?

I (18f) wanna preface this by saying i love my best friend and I’m so glad to have her in my life.
But I have phases where I feel uncomfortable in her presence and don’t like thinking about her or spending time with her. That can last a few days. After those phases usually comes one where I’m super anxious to lose her. Sometimes I just enjoy being with her so much and everything is perfect and I just love her period.
It’s summer holidays right now and we’ve been meeting up almost every day and she’s also exhausted because of the heat + she just started anti depressants and she’s generally not mentally well. (Neither am I btw)

These past few days I’ve found myself judging her a lot. I judge the way she looks (she‘s on the bigger side) and I hate myself for that. I judge that she is stubborn even when she’s wrong, she often doesn’t make any sense, is tired and sometimes I don’t like the way she speaks.

I don’t think this is her fault AT ALL. I feel so guilty for thinking this way, because she treats me so well and I’m similar in some ways and can be a lot too.

We’ve talked about this before and she understands, but I hate feeling this way for my own sake. I don’t want to be uncomfortable around her, the most fun recently I’ve had with her mostly and we just click. Seriously, I’m beyond grateful to have her and usually I don’t think this way.

My therapist says this is because my parents were also very judgmental and I have some childhood trauma too.

Can anyone relate or explain to me why this happens/what I can do? I told her I need some distance for 2-3 days because I’ve noticed I’ve become judgmental towards her, but that it’s not her fault and she doesn’t have to feel bad.

What‘s skinny/thin to you?

I‘m really not sure anymore, because everyone seems to be underweight. I‘m 5‘7 and 120 pounds (18f), so almost underweight and I wouldn’t say I look very thin, more like average. What would you consider skinny?

Nightlife on weekdays

My friend and I are going to krakow for my birthday which is on the 21 July (a Tuesday).
Any good clubs are places we can go to that night?

Do I look different?

Im trying to figure out whether I’ve gained weight. I’m 170cm. If so, take a guess how much it might be.
First 5 pics: before
Last 5: right now
Did I used to be skinny and I’m not anymore?

Did I gain/lose weight?

I have body dysmorphia and it’s gotten really bad recently. The first 5 pictures were a certain time and the last 5 pictures were another certain time. I’m not telling you which is which, but I want to know if I look the same weight in the first set VS the second set.
Just want honest opinions. Am I skinny in one set and average in the other?

Is my book marketable?

I don’t have a fully fleshed out pitch yet, but I took some notes on the story & premise and I want your honest option on whether this is marketable or I can turn it into something marketable. !! second slide for full premise

Dad pretended to leave the family

I‘m in therapy and I’ve talked about this before, but yesterday while talking about it with a friend I just realized how much this has damaged me.
My parents are still together even though they fight a lot. I’ve always had two major feelings in my life: guilt and the fear of loss.

When I was in elementary school, my Dad sat us down one morning while I was eating lunch in my underwear at the kitchen table. He told us that mom and him had made the decision to get a divorce and that we‘d be living with her in a new apartment. My mom didn’t know about this.
He went on explaining why (I don’t remember everything, a lot about fighting and that we’re always spending way too much of his money) and basically said it was our fault. We tried to convince him to not leave us and finally he said it was all just a test/he just wanted things to change and didn’t have anything else he could do.

Afterwards he told us to come to him. I had to sit on his lap and hug him even though I had mentally distanced myself from him already. I hated him in that moment, but I was so scared he’d leave if I didn’t hug him. I think that’s a big part of where my chronic guilt for everything (even the things I don’t have anything to do with) stems from.

My mom was different. She showed me a lot of love and affection, but when things got really bad she‘d tell my brother and I that one day she‘ll just be gone. She always threatened to leave us if we didn’t comply. I, of course, always believed her.

I‘m deeply sad about these experiences right now. I feel like I lost my father that day and never really got him back. I‘m 17 and we still all live together, but for many years I’ve kept my distance from my father. At times, I completely ignore him for weeks at a time. These past few days I’ve been a bit more open with him (we even talked about our common interest: writing) but after the conversion with my friend I’m starting to feel differently again.

Losing my mom is my biggest fear and she’s conditioned me to expect it to happen.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?
