The definitive map of routes to Ivarstead

It always pops up somehow so I thought I'd just put together a nice map and share!

Personally I go past the Stormcloak camp as it's a very relaxing road with few encounters and is just generally very enjoyable!

Planning some kitbashes, would these be acceptable on tabletop?

I build firstly just to make and display but like my models to be tabletop legal so I have the option! Would these be legal kitbashes?

Favourite Cerastus Knight Faceplate?

Just a question of curiosity! I’ll be kitbashing my Atrapos and have spent the majority of my time just choosing which faceplate I want more than anything 😅

Think i’ll be using an Acheron base, i just love that more stocky helmet! The lancer is super cool but i’ll be running one too and i’d like to keep that visual difference

Update Comms

Is anyone else really tired of only seeing update/ useful information by chance from reddit of a screenshot from a discord message?

I honestly think players would face much less confusion if the in game news was utilised more frequently

Shoutout to the Demo Duo!

15hrs into the demo so far! Thankyou to everyone who commented on my last post, you all chipped in with some really good feedback and I appreciate it 🙏

I’m absolutely loving the demo so far so ive picked up the full version whilst it’s on sale! I’m currently gearing up to take on Feral Brachy! Want to get an Espinas buddy before I challenge Namille 😅

Will complete my demo journey there as i love a proper good challenge and i’d like that accomplishment under my belt before I move forwards! Any tips on good teams is greatly appreciate!

Made a codex style doc for my army!

All made in Canva! I scrubbed the text off the Faction pack in photoshop and then built the assets myself in canva for the rest!

Now watch GW change all the points soon 🤣

Halo 2 anni quality still blows my mind 12 years on

**Apologies for the overlapping sound!**

Playing CE as a 30th birthday present to myself and i’m re-living that same experience loading up CE as a child. It’s amazing and as I moved to PS years ago i’m so happy to be back on Halo. Such a fun game and scratches that itch i’ve had for years.

What threw me though was just how off the people were in cutscenes. Halo 2 anniversary to me was the most incredible game, the sheer effort that went into producing it was unreal. And i think the fact that CE 12 years on is somehow behind it in quality is such a shame.

Still a whole lot of grey, but my Arthurian Knights display is starting to visualise!

Got some LotR terrain to add into the background, and will build up a diorama shelf with cutouts to pick my knights out of when they attend the table!

Starting to think i’ll need to use two shelves now though…. 🤣

Each knight will represent the tales of arthurian legend! Above we have:

• Sir Bedivere, returning Excalibur to the lady of the lake, i’ve added a ruined “hall of the dead” behind him as this chapter is the ending when Arthur dies. Bedivere is one-handed so I’ve modified the weapon to suit.

• Sir Gawain, facing the green knight to receive his owed strike. Probably one of the more famous tales, but i’ll be shaping the land around his base to physically flow into where Bedivere is more so as a branch piece (ba dum tss, because it’s the green knight).

• King Arthur himself (Castellan), who’s base includes Caliburn - the sword in the stone. He stands before castle ruins to reflect the realm of Camelot visually.

I have a Questoris box en-route for Sir Brunor the Black (Crusader) so i’ll need to pick up the pace if I want to even consider opening that box 🤣

Saying goodbye to my Angels

After picking up my Combat Patrol in 2024 i’ve been properly immersed in our Faction and absolutely love the Sons of Sanguinius

Sadly though, it’s time to say goodbye to my small collection and I just wanted to share them one final time.

As you’ll see, most of them are halfway through a strip & repaint, and I’m immensely proud of the job i’ve done on them. I don’t have as much time as i’d like, but starting from me “thin your paint” first mini to where I am now I can really see the progress i’ve made.

As much as i’ve wanted to build them, and as many people experience, once your in the hobby your interest bounces around until you settle on that one big thing you like most and the other factions become secondary even if you do grow multiple.

For me that’s Imperial Knight! But the Angels of Baal have taught me artistry, and this community has been very welcoming so I also wanted to say thankyou!

Images are:
• Assault Intersessors being converted into JPI’s
• My oath of moment markers
• Saturnine Chaplain Dreadnought kitbash
• Company Hero’s converted from Sternguard
• Kitbashed Shield Lieutenant & Combi-Lieutenant
• Golden boi’s

Transfer question!

Awesome official art for reference! Where do you guys get your transfers from?

The Mighty Brush seems perfect for the chapter symbol but I can’t find any nice ones for the right shoulder, knee & tilt shields etc

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the assist?

Jumped in to save a brother from being trapped against the wall only to get my heal stolen for no reason 😭

Just before this I healed him with a stim too… that’s the thanks I get!
