Fontaine has the most average design! Now who has THE WORST transformation!? (You may vote for only 1 Cure, if a Cure has multiple transformations you need to specify which one you are referring to)

Lilly LoveBraids idea for the Poppy Playtime movie. Getting her revenge on the Protype

This idea came to mind when I thought about all the different ways all the characters could get movie adaptation.

Since movie is a widely different media from a game, this might require lots of reworks since it cannot be filled up with endless filler puzzles.

So my, admittedly very random, idea to adapt Lilly Lovebraid's story would be to put more emphasis on the abuse she endures at the hands of the Prototype. Things would be kept the same up until the end of her chase in the game.

Instead of being killed she'll keep on perusing the main cast into the labs where eventually Huggy will also reappear and the two of them, although not allies, will take advantage of the situation to help each other out allowing Huggy to corner the main cast at the train station (Lilly would have been left slight behind as they run)

Huggy however finds Kissy there, and the scene of their death plays out like in the game, except for the fact that Kissy would be able to put up a fight with the Prototype, who would struggle to counterattack properly, until Lilly shows up, grapples Kissy and allows Prototype to kill her.

Lilly would then ask the Prototype if she is a good toy and if she can go To Better Place, but Prototype would smack her away and chase the main cast on the train. Lilly would also jump on the train and help out the Protype during the chase. Despite her actually proving herself useful, Prototype would repeatedly smack her away, until Lilly finally snaps and asks the Prototype what's wrong with her!

The Protype then would accidentally refer to Lilly as Gracie Green, triggering Lilly's suppressed mememories and allowing Gracie to surface backup in her psyche. In turn, Gracie would now merciless attack the Prototype, wanting revenge on the person that made her suffer so much and showcasing just how truly evil Gracie Green has always been, as she maniacally laughs in satisfaction at the thought of having mind-broken so many "abominations" like the Prototype.

The Prototype then has an incredibly hard time fighting off Gracie, who is much more nimbler and faster than him, as his claws end up getting tangled in her hair allowing Gracie ample room to damage him. At this same time the main cast rigged the train to crush into the wall, and when The Squabbling toys realize this, The Prototype tries to flee but Gracie wraps him up in her hair, stating something along the lines of "I'll he happy to continue this in hell!" just as the train crashes.

Gracie dies of course, but the Prototype survives.

I thought this would have been a nice idea in a movie to give more action, and allow Lilly to have a good character arc. Making her go from abuseR to abuseD and then back to abuseR

What's the most homophobic plotline you ever saw in a BL manwha?

Asking this for no particular reason, but since usually BL manwhas are very light on the homophobia aspect I was wondering what is the worst case of it that you have seen? (As in, where was it the most prevalent plot element, and where was it portrayed with the most crude realism?)

For this hypothetical, consider both the toy's position relative to the surface (so Huggy will have a much easier time escaping than Lilly), but also how well they'd be able to approach humans without creating immediate panic and getting themselves killed. Being able to speak it's also a big factor.

Curious to hear what you guys think

Ok so hear me out. Personally I think that searching for Éclair among the 4 candidates we already got presented is not a worth it, because:

1)     We know that Éclair is already a Cure since she is the one who destroyed the Makoto Jewler

2)     Having her be a normal girl that lost her memories or something like that, would be a very boring storyline and she’d not have half of the cool factor Arcana-Shadow has, and although Luluka’s fame is hard for anyone to reach, Éclair still needs to be cool enough to be a worthy Mid-season and move her share of merch; and having her be one of the 4 girls would just be too boring

So I think all the girls must be red-herrings and the real Éclair is somebody else, and that somebody else is, in my opinion, Arcana-Shadow’s future mom (aka she would be the young version of Luluka’s mom brought from the past to 1999). Why? Well because mothers, and especially lost mothers are a theme across all this season.

Anna lost her mom when she time traveled back to 1999

Mikuru’s mom seemingly ABANDONDED her Mikuru she is sleeping at the school’s dormitory at the start of the show

In episode 10 there is a whole episode themed around a lady searching for answers about a painting about her late mother

Even in the most recent episode (Episode 14) Pochitan ALSO lost her moms and the picture book that Rei was reading just so happened to be about a puppy losing her mom.

Consequently, it’d make sense if all the Cures this season were to have lost their mother! Arcana Shadow could have lost her mom when *adult* Éclair destroyed the Makoto Jewel and “mysteriously vanished”, prompting Luluka to abandon the detective agency and joining the thieves to find her.

While YOUNG Cure Éclair would have also lost her mom when she time travelled to the future

Having all the Cures share the commonality of a lost mother, might also just be what will finally make Arcana Shadow join the team for good if the main trio can leverage their shared feelings of loss to make Luluka understand she is not alone.

This theory however has another strong point in my opinion, since it would explain Cure Éclair’s butterfly motif. Butterflies and especially blue butterflies are associated with Timetravel and the butterfly effect and if I’m right the association to the butterfly would be a perfect fit for Éclair

The full Éclair POV timeline would basically go like this:

·       In the 60s Ella (made up civilian name for Cure Éclair) is born

·       In the 70s Ella is brought forward in time to June/July 1999, due to shenanigans happening in the main story forcefully pulling her toward (her) future and I bet Arcana-Shadow would have something to do with this

·       In June/July of 1999 Ella joins Answer and Mystique in fighting the thieves and Arcana-Shadow (her future daughter) becoming Cure Éclair in the process

·       At the end of the season in January of 2000, Ella goes back to the 70s but keeps her powers!

·       Ella grows up and in 1983 she gives birth to Luluka

·       Then sometimes in the 90s and in THIS order: Luluka becomes Arcana Shadow, Éclair destroys the Makoto Jewel but disappears, and Arcana Shadow leaves the agency to join the thieves which will lead to Luluka to bring a young version of her mom from the future.

Hence the paradox of the blue butterfly, if Éclair had not time travelled, she’d never become a Cure, but had she never been a Cure she’d never been able to destroy the Makoto Jewel and hence motivate Arcana-Shadow to make Ella time travel in a first place. This could also be a way to explain the resemblance that there is between all the other 4 Éclair candidates, maybe they are all actually relatives between each-other.

Aka they’d be Ella’s nieces and Luluka’s cousins, which would make a lot of sense when you consider that Luluka’s hair colour is the same as Eriza (the writer from episode 2) with their highlights just being coloured differently, and Luluka has a very similar eye colour to Shirku (the actress that appears in Episode 9)

As a result the full Star Detective Timeline would look something like this

1)     Ella is born in the 60s

2)     In the 70s Ella time travels forward in time

3)     Ella is brought back to the 70s in the exact spot where she left but now she has the powers of Cure Éclair

4)     In 1982 Eriza (the writer lady is born), from a sibling of Ella

5)     Ella in 1983 gives birth to Luluka | Shirku (actress lady) and Kurea (baker lady) are born from Ella’s siblings in this year

6)     In 1984 Rei is born from another of Ella’s siblings

7)     In 1985 Mikuru is born

8)     Sometimes in the 90s Luluka becomes a cure

9)     Sometimes in the 90s Éclair destroys the Makoto Jewel and disappear

10) Sometimes in the 90s Arcana-Shadow abandons the agency and joins the thieves to find her mom

11) In April 1999 Anna arrives from the future and her and Mikuru become Cures as they begin to fight the phantom thieves

12) In June/July of 1999, Arcana Shadow makes Ella time travel from the 70s to June/July 1999

13) In June/July of 1999 Ella becomes Cure Éclair

14) In January of 2000 the thieves are defeated, so Ella travels back to the 70s and Anna travels back to 2027

15) In January of 2013 Miruku gives birth to Anna

16) In January of 2027 Anna travels back to 1999

17) Anna is brought back to January 2027 in the exact spot where she left (she may or may not still have her powers)

Upon Anna’s return, Mikuru would be 42, Luluka 44, Ella in her 60s while Anna would be 14 anagraphically but biologically she will have aged 9 months [OH WOULD YOU LOOK AT THAT, 9 months is exactly the time babies spend in their mom’s womb! Coincidence? I think not!]

So what do you think? Do you think that Éclair could be Luluka’s mom just like Mikuru is Anna’s mom or is it gonna be something else entirely?

If nobody guesses this right I'll make another post in 24 hours with the answer!

Hint: "Hibiki Au Uta" (the signature song of the Kimito Idol movie) can help you solve this riddle

u/TrainingDrop9283 — 21 days ago

I think this is a big mystery worth resolving in chapter 6, we know that she must have died in a way that did not destroy or heavily damage her body because Ludwig was able to turn her in to well... Poppy Doll. So what are your ideas about it?

u/TrainingDrop9283 — 21 days ago

  1. It's a tablet LDC toy. Would make sense for the detective theme in my opinion, but it could also be a way for Toei to launch a new generation of LCD toys for the franchise. The last LCD toy we got was the Kirarin Trunk in Wonderful Pretty Cure, which was a pretty scaled down version of the ones we have been getting up until that point. I suspect that the LCD toys being phased out might have something to do with them essentially being stuck in the 2010s technologically speaking (since if you own any you'll see pretty clearly that a lot of code gets recycled year after year) and thus not selling super well as the market evolved and more High Tec LCD stuff became available.

Making the LCD toy the group attack item, could be a way for Toei to phase in this new generation of electronic toys just like they did with the Magical Lovely pad in DokiDoki when they had to phase out the 8 bit toys in favor of the LCD ones

  1. The group attack item could be an upgraded version of Tear Arcana Rod. In the last few season the group attack item is always unlocked when the reluctant Pretty Cure finally gives in and joins the group for real; and considering the premise it'll likely to be Arcana Shadow's case too; so perhaps by joining the main trio she'd be able to upgrade her rod into something more elaborate to perform the group attack.

This would make sense even from the toy side of things, since the actual Tear Arcana Rod that released it's more of a wand then a rod since it's very short compared to the one Arcana Shadow has in the show. Maybe this was a move to... well cut costs on production for starters and maybe to not overshadow the group attack item if it really is a full sized rod.
