Cmf buds pro 2 firmware update

I just got my second pair and I updated my CMF Buds Pro 2 to 1.0.1.74 and I realized the bass is weaker and the ANC is weaker as well. Also the sound quality decreased.

Anyone else facing this issue?

CMF Buda Pro 2 VS Cmf Buds Plus 2

The cmf buds plus 2 is the most confusing piece of tech I’ve ever bought

I recently bought the CMF Buds Pro 2 and loved them, but I had to return my pair after the case discolored. I replaced them with the CMF Buds Plus 2, which led to a very interesting side-by-side comparison.
At first, the noise cancellation on the Plus 2 was disappointing, but a quick factory reset completely fixed the issue. Once reset, the ANC performance is practically identical to the Pro 2, though the Pro 2 is slightly better at blocking close-range sound.

Design-wise, the Plus 2 comes out ahead with a lighter, smaller, and sleeker case.

When it comes to audio quality:
CMF Buds Plus 2: Best for a clean, balanced, and rich sound profile.
CMF Buds Pro 2: Best for a fun, bass-heavy sound profile that most listeners will prefer.

Both sound great. While the Plus 2 technically offers cleaner audio, I personally prefer the punchier sound of the Pro 2.

Battery life is fairly average. The Plus 2 dropped to 75% after two hours of use, matching the Pro 2.

Ultimately, both models offer nearly identical mic quality and overall performance. They are both the exact same which is why it’s so confusing.

Just get the pro.

iPhone 17 Pro: 10 Month review

iPhone 17 Pro: 10 Month Review

I’ve been using the iPhone 17 pro since September and here are my overall thoughts (Upgraded from a 13)

I have absolutely no regrets upgrading to a iPhone 17 pro but there are some things I dislike about it

Firstly, I’ll talk about the design. In my opinion I actually find this to be really good-looking. I picked it up in the deep blue colorway, and it looks phenomenal, it’s also really thin. It feels solid in your hands but in my opinion it’s a bit too small. (9/10)

Display.
To be completely honest, I didn’t feel any difference between this and the 13. I don’t know why. I’m also not a big fan of the variable refresh rate. To me, Android phones with a constant 120Hz display feel noticeably smoother and more consistent. I really wish you could turn off the variable refresh rate in an upcoming iOS update. In fact, I sometimes prefer the display on my $300 Nothing 3a over the 17 Pro, which is pretty surprising considering the price difference. I’m not even joking my 300$ secondary phone feels smoother than my 1,200$ phone (6/10)

Performance.
Wow.
There are absolutely no flaws when it comes to performance. The phone is butter-smooth, and apps open instantly. Maybe 1 in 100 times it bugs out. But the A19 Pro does the job. Multitasking is amazing on this phone and handles all apps easily. It overheats sometimes. At this point any phone in the world overheats but not as much as others. (10/10)

Camera.
This is where the 17 Pro shines. In my opinion it’s the best thing the 17 Pro can do. It takes insanely good photos and videos, and I put some sample images below. The depth of field is actually incredible and it’s so close to looking like an actual full-frame camera.
(10/10)

Battery.
Good and bad.
For the first few months the 17 pro had insane battery performance. I would literally go out with 30% not worried at all. I had 100% battery health with 234 cycles. I then reached 282 cycles and now it’s at 96%. I have no idea how and lots of users faced this issue too. Regardless of that the battery is still great.
(8.5/10)

iOS & Siri
iOS 27 is actually running really smoothly for me. Apps open instantly but I’m not really seeing any performance increase.
Post iOS 27 Siri was probably the worst AI voice assistant ever created. After that maybe 2nd worst. Jokes aside it has improved drastically, it can finally tell me the time. The weird thing is I still feel like I’m using the iPhone 13. Every feature on the 13 is available here.

In summary, this phone actually taught me a lesson. A 1,200$ lesson. To try and consider other phones first. After buying the 17 pro I learnt that Android phones might actually be better after all. Don’t get me wrong the 17 Pro is a spectacular phone. But I just found every iPhone to be like the other. When I got a $300 Android phone I felt way more excited than getting the 17 Pro. It didn’t feel like an upgrade in my opinion

I agree with NoFap

I’ve seen lots of people here come out with posts and say “nofap is bullshit” and they stopped porn for 90 days and felt “nothing”
I couldn’t believe it to the point I had to check if these people were real? Are they sent by some demonic cult to endorse pornographer or what?
🤣🤣🤣🤣 no way some people actually believe that porn is healthy. I dare you to try 100 days without porn and check the benefits tourself

Fuck porn.

Cmf Buds pro 2 VS Cmf Buds Plus 2

I recently got the CMF buds pro 2 and I’m loving it. I just had a slight issue though, the case got a weird blue tint. Anyway Amazon returned me my money and took the buds back. Do I rebuy the CMF buds pro 2 or get the Plus 2?
Which one has better sound quality overall?

Fitbit Air to track insulin trends?

Google announced “Google Health Guardian” yesterday. Basically new features for pixel and Fitbit devices that track insulin resistance, blood pressure and more. It’s reportedly coming to the Fitbit Air
I was wondering if this feature requires a Pro subscription or is it free to use?
Someone please let me know this seems like a feature many of us can use

3rd party Fitbit Air Bands

I picked up some 3rd party Fitbit air bands from AliExpress and here is my review on them

1- active band
I picked this one up in blue and black and and honestly this feels really comfortable and I’m actually enjoying it more than the OG band that comes with the Fitbit Air. The only flaw is that for the part that sits on your skin it kind of makes a hole/gap. I think it’s a sizing issue tho. Also the blue color looks nowhere near the “lavender” active band.

2- Performance loop
This also looks really good and has the metal buckle. Not sure what the buckle is made out of though but most importantly it looks like the original. I got them in 3 colors and they feel better than the original band somehow. They are more breathable and comfortable. I don’t know anything about band materials but they probably use a different type of fabric or something.

Overall all these bands are good but I just wished the active band looked a bit more like the lavender active band

Different Fitbit air bands affect accuracy!

You aren’t going to believe this but different bands on the Fitbit air affects accuracy somehow…
But only for counting steps.

The normal band that comes with the Fitbit air is by far the most accurate
Followed by the active band.

I was using the active band for a whole day and I realized my steps were way off.
So I went for a 1000 step walk with both bands

Fitbit air original band: 1002 steps
Active band: 1065 steps

Not really much of an issue but still that’s surprising.
If this sounds strange try it for yourself..

I even took a couple of steps around the house and the active band overcounts by 20-30 each time.

Fitbit air active band from AliX

I received my Fitbit air band. The color seems identical to the original. It feels okay, but it’s just a tiny bit uncomfortable. Overall it’s mid 7/10

Can I separate my primary sleep from my nap

I slept from 1 am until 7:50 am and then I woke up and washed my face brushed my teeth and stayed on my phone a bit and then went back to sleep. I want to separate my primary sleep from my “nap”

Google also identifies them as 2 sleep sessions I want to separate them

Bevel + Fitbit air inaccuracy

The integration of bevel is fantastic but it displays different numbers than google health. No issues I know they both calculate differently but I’m desperate to know the exact number do look at bevel or Google health

Hot take: Fitbit Air is better than the whoop

This might sound crazy but since the Fitbit air’s integration with bevel in my opinion I find the Fitbit air better than the whoop. I am a previous whoop user and I switched to the Fitbit air and I’ve never looked back since.
The Fitbit air does almost everything the whoop does. It is just as accurate as the whoop. I’ve compared it several times and it produces the same exact data. The whoop on the bicep is exactly as accurate as the Fitbit air on the wrist. The Fitbit air just lacks a good AI coach and good insights but with the integration of bevel I think that’s fixed.

Im not even going to talk about the price but in my opinion the whoop’s price point isn’t even that crazy. Your paying approximately a dollar a day to track your health accurately so im not complaining. But the Fitbit air is obviously much cheaper

What do you guys think?

One of the weirdest questions ever

I have a question about porn.
I’m 4 days free so far but this is really important.
One of the main reasons I decided to quit porn is actually to watch movies (yes believe it or not it’s so hard to believe)
When I watched porn and then watched a movie the next day I would feel emotionless. Like the movie is just bland. I wouldn’t feel anything. Therefore i would just think every single movie is bad. During the time I watched porn I watched so many critically acclaimed movies and I didn’t enjoy them and I think it’s related to porn because there’s no way. And no it’s not my attention span at all..
I would then stop porn for 14 days and I would get goosebumps from a soundtrack of a movie.
Does watching porn really affect the ability of you to enjoy a movie. I really want to go see the odyssey but I don’t want the effect of porn ruin my experience for this movie

When does this affect to away? I’m willing to do anything to enjoy a movie again.

This isn’t a whoop, it’s a Fitbit air

Got tired of the Fitbit air bands tbh they are really simple in design, so I got a Fitbit air whoop adapter and it seems to be working really well

Bevel is a Google Health killer

Since the integration I’ve been using bevel and I can’t be more than happy.
The UI/UX is much better and u can add widgets on iOS. I have 2 on my homepages and on my lock screen it looks clean. You can also share your stats in a very clean way (5th image) without a bg.
Honestly this integration saved the Fitbit air it’s a must-try. The only thing is that the metrics show slightly different numbers. I know both calculate differently but yeah.
