Started Landman S2 and I love Rebecca even more now.

Mods on Landman removed my post bc I guess you can’t criticize the Bimbo mother/daughter characters, so I’ll just do it here.

Season 2, Episode 2 when she looks over at the daughter doing gymnastics half-naked (as always) outside and goes “is there an off switch for her”

YESSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Love the disdain on her face when she said it 😆

Saying what we’re all thinking sheesh, THANK YOU Rebecca

And she’s just such a bad ass with her corporate lawyer speak and knowledge of the law. Love the scenes where she’s in meetings with opposing counsels.

Will continue watching just bc of her. Best part of the show. Along with was the cartel storyline which they seem to have abandoned?

I also miss Jon Hamm. He was great in S1. Hate that they killed him off. His wife is just not as interesting (so far) or commands the same presence as him in S1

Season 2, Episode 7 WOW

Didn’t shed a tear for Beth. I’ll say that much

Can’t stand her. Most unlikeable character I’ve ever seen in a TV show. Don’t care about her backstory or what happened to her. She’s an awful person

Disgusting how she treats Jamie and almost made him kill himself, especially after the sweet car scene they shared in season 1 where Jamie told her she could use him as an outlet for her hatred and pain of causing their mothers death.

And how she treats everyone around her. Everything that comes out of her mouth is an insult or some smart ass remark. Such a nasty person.

Just finished season 1 and now I’m running through season 2 even faster. Show merits it’s hype so far.

He criticizes their cash pile but then gets mad at Abel for starting to spend it? Lmao

Huh? Make up your mind lmao

His air of arrogance is really annoying. Reminds of me a stuck up rich dad never satisfied or impressed with anything his kids accomplish lol

Lioness is insanely good. S3 the best yet.

Best spying show I’ve watched (along with The Agency for what it’s worth)

Don’t know if I jsut haven’t watched many spy shows but this new season is off the rails good. Very strong start.

Season 1 was good, Season 2 was even better and now the first 2 episodes of Season 3 has elevated it even further and I’m beyond hooked.

WOW bravo Taylor Sheridan. Outdone himself with this one.

Opening episode was everything I want in a TV show. Great action scenes. Deep interesting plot. Household actors

Drone warfare is absolutely horrifying.

10/10 all the accolades.

Edit: it’s sad some of yall hate the show just bc of Sheridan. How miserable to allow politics to taint an amazing show

Just finished Season 1. My thoughts.

It’s touching how much Rip respects John. Holds him in such high regard and seems John is returning the favor by allowing him to call him John now instead of just sir. That’s the most loyal soldier he has. Loves him more than his own children do it seems.

I’m glad Kaycee is back in the family and John’s side. Still don’t know why he hates his dad so much (I’ll find out soon I’m sure) and I’m sure it’s toxic to him in the long run to have returned to the fold but I really liked that. He’s probably my favorite character so far

Jamie’s arch reminded me instantly of the quote “the child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth”. They’re always making him feel less than and pushing him aside. There’s the consequences

And lastly I don’t care how long it’s been in the family. I don’t agree with that much land and nature being owned by a single person. It’s incredibly selfish. So in a way I’m rooting for John to lose. Fair or not. Don’t care

Just started the show, halfway through Season 1 and…

I was originally going to make a post about how much I already dislike Beth (as a character I love to hate but keeps me engaged) why does she have such a c word personality.

But I just got done with this scene with her brother and all that went away, her guilt is immense and she’s so broken inside.

Really into it. Great first episodes.

Guys don’t talk to or approach women in the real world anymore?

So on tonight’s Bill Maher episode (I’m an Unc)

A guest told a story about how he had his bachelor party or whatever at a stadium, anyway, they couldn’t drink for some reason so they went up to some sorority also there and offered all the beer to them for free/no funny biz

The girls answered how they were just happy some guy came to talk to them because no one else had approached them at all. Even if just to say hi to them or talk as humans lol

Made me think of a hot girl at the gym from my past.

We had been seeing each other in the gym forever and never talked until one day she asked if I was using a machine and then she attempted small talk (that I obliviously jumped on)

Reminded me bc we had a long ass convo one day by the machines and basically she was wondering out loud why guys don’t try to hit on her, if she’s not attractive or something, why guys her age group don’t pursue her (late 20s)

I was just like nah you’re very attractive but I’m never gonna hit on a girl at the gym. It’s just a bad look unless she initiates it or gives you an opening. Also, that she’s hot and dresses a certain way so I assume she was always being hit on and i wasn’t gonna be part of her little simp bus lmao

How is it out there man? In the dating game. Where do you all meet women (person not online) or any gym success stories you got?

Also is it possible we assume all these girls have simp army but in reality they don’t? Feels like even the most mid girls have simps now. Pussy inflation.

I’ve finally arrived to the final season! So excited to see how it wraps up.

Whewwww, that S6 opening episode had my heart beating for Serena.

I was legitimately convinced they had taken the decision to kill her off the same way Fred had been torn apart.

There’s just no way I said.. I was happy when it happened to Fred but Serena, no. I would’ve tried to save her like June did.

Would’ve been too much for me. I’m aware of everything she’s done but if the show runners intentions were to make you care about Serena, well they succeeded at that with me.

Started the show in late April, been a great ride. Great show. I’m sad I’ve arrived to the beginning of the end.

Getting high and drinking an ice cold Arizona is timeless

High as fuck and just walked over to a gas station and got an ice cold Arizona. Its doooo good. Also had a ice cold lemonade earlier while high too.

No lemon iced tea flavor but fruit punch ice cold tastes just as good.

Reminds me of being high in my teens. The tradition remains

Software hits just keep on mounting

Just read 2 bearish stories back to back on Bloomberg in depth tech newsletter this morning

First that Starbucks is dumping IBM and Oracle to use their own in house software tools

Second, Lyzr raising 20% of its valuation to build AI agents for enterprises (agentic AI will replace sales force like-tools)

Investing in software is scary as fuck right now. Not to mention Anthropic’s continued advances with their models.

What good news does anyone expect to turn this sector around? If at all

The ending to S5, E2 was crazy

Holy shit Serena sure got her back good damn, that was crazy.

June had murder in her eyes again, this is going to be great. And beside that I’m very invested in Nick. I somehow dont think he will get a storybook ending :(

I thought the whole funeral cinematography and music was so well done. Was a visual. A spectacle. Too.

I’m liking the feel of season 5. At least these 2 first episodes.

Just started season 5 and…

Fuck forgiveness and moving on

Go back to Gilead and burn them to the ground. An eye for an eye. Tear them apart like Waterford was

Her punishment is $88 lmaooo I love it

Seriously though, I don’t understand why she’s so conflicted about it. He deserved worse.

TV marathon tonight, happens every Monday night for me. I love it

That feeling when you’re high as fuck and about to sit in your executive office desk chair in your bath robe after a warm shower and about to turn on the TV and watch all your favorite shows

I am blessed and grateful to live my simple basic life and post about it to Reddit lmao

It’s the simple things man

Half-Man is a 10/10 masterpiece

I forgave Ruben as soon as he said “want to know the only person who was a homophobe”?

l literally paused the TV and gasped, and that he was proud of his brother for coming out, how he reacted so nonchalant and like dumbfounded that anyone should care what your sexual preference is.. when he broke down and cried when he told him what his dad did to him. Just have no words, just mountains of tears streaming out.

Peak scene in the series and one of the top scenes that will live rent-free in my head for decades to come

“It makes you feel like a half man”

“Do you think less of me” that one absolutely tore me open.

His realization and acceptance that he spent all his life making up for it by crafting an extreme dominant male persona…

I don’t care what he did at the end. It was a fitting, tragic conclusion to their decades long tumultuous and toxic relationship

I deeply wanted them to reconcile and they did, at least in that moment in prison, but the wounds between them were too deep and the end showcased all the grey that had existed between them.

Both of them had their severe faults and both caused life-altering damage to each other but were still their rocks. What a beautiful dichotomy and way to highlight their traumas while still remaining co-dependent, they were tethered.

The hospital scene where they had their first big dust up, the big first confrontation between them. You could watch that scene over and over and find yourself agreeing with both of them.

The eulogy scene to his mother. Oh my god that was painful to watch as my mother was just in the hospital Monday over chest pains and I had never felt fear like that before in my life… Can’t fathom Ruben’s pain

And it’s not a competition but…. I think Ruben had much more severe trauma and pain than Niall after his revelations

Niall’s traumas were real but the major one was all really just in his head (mainly) “the only one who ever cared about being gay was you”

Yes his brother was abusive and toxic and I would assign a fair bit more than 15% blame

Tragic story and I strongly recommend to watch I Know This Much Is True also on HBO for multi-generational family drama

S4 E3 The Crossing was a masterpiece

Wow so much emotional trauma dump in this episode

Where do I start…

Her husband coming to the terms with the realization she didnt choose him. I think he misses her more than anything so it’s just borne out of frustration and haplessness at the situation

June holding steadfast in her refusal to betray the other handmaids.

Her torture. The scene where she puts on the red gown and white hat again, oh man so cinematic and the visual is so stunning. Like welcoming back and old hated enemy you thought was gone

Her determination was so strong she pushes one of handmaids herself bc she knows they’re gonna do it anyway when she refuses to answer. But was it cold blooded wow

Lydia’s scathing words to June which makes her cry

Nick kidnapping her back into servitude but her still begrudgingly accepts she loves him and turns back to kiss him. So bittersweet

Hannah being scared of her own mom. Accustomed to the system of Gilead

Finally relenting and causing them all to be captured

The anger and hatred in their eyes when they’re alone in the van with Lydia. They have rebelled and known freedom again and will never be subjugated again.

The tragedy of the train taking them out.

Yes Yes Yes! Been waiting for this!!

Just finished Episode 11, Season 3

First of all I want to retract my statement of support for Serena from a few days ago when I started season 3 😂 she basically had 2 good episodes in her and then she starts to become very hateable again

But wow Detective Stabler being viciously killed & Waterfords baited and tricked into being arrested in Canada. Even Lawrence is now like a scared pup while June takes control.

YES. ABOUT DAMN TIME.
