In this solemn month of Muharram we remember the sacrifice of Imam Husayn (AS), and how he stood against tyranny, oppression, injustice even when he stood almost alone. His sacrifice continues to remind us to stand with the oppressed, defend the weak, and remain steadfast upon what is right.
Peace be upon Imam Husayn (AS), his noble family, and his loyal companions who sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah.
We as Shias should always spread the message of Imam Hussein (AS), we should stand against oppression and injustice wherever we see it.
May Allah never allow us to become among those who oppress others through our actions, our words, or even our silence. Instead, may He make us among those who uphold justice with wisdom, mercy, patience, and compassion, just as the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) taught us.
Today, I ask Allah to remember every innocent person suffering from war, occupation, persecution, imprisonment, poverty, famine, discrimination, abuse, or the loss of loved ones. I ask Him to remember every grieving parent, every orphan, every refugee, every innocent prisoner, every person whose rights have been unjustly taken away, and every soul whose cries are known only to Him.
I wanted to share this du'a with you all. If you are able to, then please recite it, and share it. It is in Arabic and English both.

O Allah, send Your blessings upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
O Allah, the Most Merciful, forgive our sins and purify our hearts. Restore to every oppressed person the rights that have been unjustly taken from them. Grant relief, strength, and patience to every oppressed person. Free every innocent prisoner, comfort every orphan, have mercy upon every widow, heal every sick person, and have mercy upon our deceased and all the believing departed.
O Allah, grant patience and steadfastness to those enduring hardship. Replace fear with security, despair with hope, hatred with compassion, and division with unity upon truth and justice.
O Allah, the Most Loving and the Most Merciful, improve the affairs of Muslims and all humanity. Extinguish the fires of war, spread peace, mercy, justice, and goodness throughout the earth, and guide us to become people who bring benefit to others.
O Allah, make us among the people of truth and justice. Never allow us to become oppressors, supporters of oppression, or those who remain silent in the face of injustice. Guide us to what pleases You, keep us firm upon Your straight path, forgive our shortcomings, and accept our supplication.
O Allah, send Your blessings upon Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Ahl al-Bayt (AS). Hasten the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (AJTF), the Qa'im from the family of Muhammad. Make us among those who sincerely follow the path of Imam Husayn (AS), who stand against oppression with wisdom and patience, and who strive to earn Your pleasure in all that we do.
Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the One Who answers prayers.
Āmīn.

The times we are in right now are full of religious disputes, discrimination and hatred. But at the same time, for hundreds of years, there have been amazing examples of friendship and respect and cultural cooperation between Shia Muslims and Hindus in India.

Countless Hindu families have been participating in Muharram traditions for ages in cities like Lucknow, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, Bihar. They have been making Tazias, organizing Sabeels, distributing food and joining processions in remembrance of Imam Husayn (AS) for generations.

Under the Shia Nawabs of Awadh, the emergence of a unique tradition of Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb, where representatives of various religions helped in the creation of a single civilization, took place.

It should be noted that Hindu ministers, poets, artists, craftsmen, and noblemen were actively involved in the creation of the culture of Lucknow.

One example that I personally find incredibly moving is the story of the famous noha:
"Ghabrāyegī Zainab (سلام الله عليها)"

Tens of millions of Shias worldwide have heard this noha (elegy) in various majalis and Shaam-e-Ghariban gatherings.

However, not many people know that this beloved composition is traditionally attributed to Munshi Channu Lal Dilgeer, a Hindu poet from Lucknow.

Just think how wonderful it is.

For over two centuries now, people have been mourning the grief of Sayyida Zainab (SA) through the poetry of a Hindu poet about the tragedy of Karbala.

This is one of the most wonderful samples of India's common heritage.

But there are even more examples
.
One of the best Indian writers – Munshi Premchand – wrote a play called "Karbala" about the martyrdom of Imam Husayn (AS) as the highest expression of justice and freedom.

Another one of the great Urdu poets, Pandit Brij Narayan Chakbast wrote wonderful poetry based on Karbala.

Pandit Dattatreya Kaifi also made his contribution to the marsiya tradition.

Sarojini Naidu has written about the Imambara of Lucknow and its culture.

Raja Tikait Rai, a Hindu minister under the Nawabs of Awadh, was a prominent figure in the administration and contributed to the prosperity and culture of the region.

The story of the Hussaini Brahmins is another fascinating chapter. Historians debate certain aspects of their early traditions, but there is no doubt that generations of these families have maintained a deep attachment to Imam Husayn (AS) and Muharram.

Even in present days, Hindu craftsmen still make tazias, Hindu families organize sabeels, and people from different communities join the processions during Ashura in India.

I find it quite amazing how many Hindu poets felt inspired by the works of the greats like Mir Anis and Mirza Dabeer and became contributors to the great legacy of marsiyas and elegies for Karbala.

• Ganga Jamuni Culture of Lucknow.
• Hindus taking part in Muharram throughout India.
• Hussaini Brahmins.
• Raja Tikait Rai and Hindu aristocrats during the Nawabs of Awadh era.
• Premchand's play Karbala.
• Pandit Brij Narayan Chakbast & Dattatreya Kaifi.
• Hindu craftsmen maintaining Tazia tradition for generations.
• One of the most famous nohas "Ghabraye gi Zainab (سلام الله عليها)" and its authorship by Munshi Channu Lal Dilgeer.
• Appreciation shown by many Indian philosophers and freedom fighters to Imam Husayn (AS). Including Mahatma Gandhi.

I really believe that this shows how history is made not only of conflicts.

Sometimes history is made of shared sorrow, shared culture, shared poetry, and shared humanness.

Living in an era where we are repeatedly told of our differences, we must also remember the stories that once brought us together.
Before the hair cut my forehead hair length was till my eyebrows, covering them. I don't know why but it looks like the haircut just has less texture. I also added the inspo pic I showed my barber. Any tips on how to fix it or something? I haven't put shampoo on my hair since I got the haircut today morning. My shampoo will make it even flatter I think.
My hair type is 1B i guess.

Is it possible that a person is happy but very deeply sad at the same time for months.
It's like now my sadness is a chronic part of my life which stays and stays and never goes away.
I always am sad while experiencing any emotion.
Happy with sad, angry with sad, etc.
Sometimes the sadness is more hidden and not that intense but the other times it's increases to a lot.
Is there? If not should I make it? I'm good at making servers now? Do you think it'll be a good idea? For all ENFPs to chat, help eachother, make frends
I'm very good at school but i can't get myself to study still I end up topping the class (not bragging) . Can you all relate to this? Are we supposed to be good or bad at tests or its entirety subjective. I was wondering how can we be good at achieving high marks when we tend to procrastinate everything to the last day.
Hi, so a person i know got selected after giving a job interview. Then afterwards someone from the company asked them this. They found it unprofessional and called the person who took the interview and the person said "it's okay, take it lightly". They are not hindu so they have no caste.
Why did they ask this question?
