So I know this girl from high school who recently reconnected with me (she iniated contact). She invites me for walks almost every day after work which takes about 2 hours to do, and texts me like shes my girlfriend.

But when I propose we date she says no. I don't understand what she wants from me. If she wants to be friends why text me like you are my girlfriend?
