So, I hope this gets some responses. I know it’s a basic question and been asked a million times, but here goes.

What is the very best way to learn some guitar “stuff”?

I am not looking to do anything beyond being able to mess around a bit, play some tunes, and ultimately learn enough about the fretboard to be able to do some soloing, noodling, playing along to tunes.

I know, it’s a basic question and might seem stupid, but there are so many different online instructors, videos, etc that I don’t know where to begin.

I’m 63, took lessons when I was like 10-12. I have an electric guitar that I bought and it just sits near my stereo looking pretty. So, I can play basic chords, but every time I pick it up, I get discouraged. I don’t want to pay a ton for lessons, but I do feel like I need to make a commitment to “something” that keeps my attention and allows me to have some fun. I’m a Deadhead, I love guitar players and have seen a ton of greats over the years. Maybe that’s why I get discouraged, I don’t know. I’m the type of persons who has a lot of hobbies and interests, so I am looking to fit playing guitar in, not having it take over my life.

I have been pretty lucky with my first several loafs. I really can’t believe I’m making bread like this! I’d like to step up my game with some cool designs. Mostly I just score it and make some slits. Any suggestions to make some designs? I just do t know how some people make them look so amazing. I bought a kit that came with some stencils, but again I have no idea what to do with them.

I know the unit is new, but does anyone have link to recipes for the ClearView?

Aside from things you cook directly in the glass, I guess a recipe for any 4 quart air fryer is the same?

I want to utilize the glass to make deserts like crumbles, cobblers, etc. seems like it would be perfect for that, but I’m not finding any recipes yet.

So… ever since the RD issues, I’ve been making some changes. I now have TB and EasyNews. I love them both. I have been badmouthing TB because I was having issues I never had with RD, but I’m going to try not to piss off any gatekeepers with this post, lol.

I think my initial setup was making TB unstable or something with AIO Streams. So, I took some advice and deleted my AIO Streams and set it back up with Duckstreams. I also lost my EasyNews+ and EasyNews++ addons in the process. I have EN++ back, but can’t get EN+ back (It gave me a search box which showed a bunch of obscure links that EN++ doesn’t).

So, right now things are loading and playing really well. I don’t want to fuck that up, but I’d like some AIO Streams stuff to show up differently.

For some reason, most Remux files load, but only the audio streams. I figure that this is due to a hardware limitation with my TVs, so I’d like a way to have those files not show up. I don’t want to scroll through all the top remux files to get to the Blueray or WebDL stuff that does play. I also would like to see what Debrid service I’m clicking on and for some reason, that info is gone.

Other than that, for the first time in months, I feel pretty good about my setup. Thanks Duckstreams and the people in the subs who actually try to help.

I have a link to buy EasyNews at $1.99/month (!), so tomorrow I’ll be purchasing and downgrading my TB from Pro to Essential. So, for $5/month I’ll have TB (along with RD) and Usenet as a backup (and for extra links). I have asked this in other threads, but I’m still looking for the best way to implement EasyNews into Stremio with AIOStreams and Tamtaro SEL. My goal is to have the EN links show up with all the other TB and RD links. I’m asking again because, as usual here, I have gotten a lot of different opinions on setting this up! Any suggestions are very welcome and appreciated.

I have TB Pro, which does include Usenet, but I don’t see any Usenet links. Even if I figured out how to get Usenet links via TB, would it be a better idea to go with TB Essential and purchase Usenet separately? If so, what Usenet service should I get that will work great with AOIStreams? Anyone with Usenet experience want to help? I’d like the links to show up in my list when I search, and I think it’s a good idea as a backup to TB and RD.

So, after the RD stuff went down, I picked up TorBox Pro. I also still have several months of RD (which seems to be working better). Thanks to many suggestions, I am now down to using just AOIStreams and from there I get my TB and RD links. I also added the SEL on the homepage of AOIStreams to pair down the hundreds of links I was getting, and organizing them by quality, etc. So, now that everything looks nice and neat, I’m concentrating on getting Usenet into the mix. I bought TB Pro, but I’m really not seeing any Usenet links. I am also thinking a separate Usenet account would be a good backup. I’m thinking a good option would be to purchase Easynews, Newshosting, or another service with an AOIStreams addon. So, what do you guys think? Is it a good idea? What’s a good Usenet provider that’s reliable, affordable, and can be used with my setup? Will links show up as Usenet links with Tamtaro Complete? Will I need to add anything else? TIA!

So glad I only bought a month. WTF? My terrible experience this week with TB is capped off with all my links gone today on Stremio. All that tinkering, bad links, buffering, etc. all for nothing, I guess. I found out yesterday that the app for Stremio was going away, but I guess I figured it would still work if you already bought and installed it.

So, like so many others, I picked up TB as a replacement for RD. It seemed ok when I first tried it, but now it doesn’t want to load anything. Today’s example. “Project Hail Mary”. It has well over 3000 seeders, yet most links won’t load. As I sit here, I am going down the list and had to scroll through 12 links before one would load. The Usenet links don’t load either. And, crazy as it seems, a lot of my RD links are working great!

So, is there an issue with so many people trying the service and making it slow? Is TB inherently slower? The more I try links, it seems they may work, but the load time is really long. I’m just trying to get a feel for this, as it’s my first time with TB.

The Exorcist’s House… just finished. This was suggested as a well written and scary horror read. Well, it may just be me, but I was not impressed. Without giving anything away, making jokes during an exorcism is not good writing. The light humor in horrifying situations only works for Steven King, IMO. At least it was short.

Now, what should I read next? I haven’t read a really good horror novel in a while now.

I keep seeing ads for really cool watch faces. They look realistic and I love the ones that look like actual watch brands, like Rolex, Omega, etc. I think the ads are AI generated and the actual face probably isn’t so striking. They look realistic but the worst part is the apps want you to purchase a monthly subscription to use them. I assume the face goes away if you cancel, so I’m not trying that type of service. Does anyone have a good app that is worth it and has this type of watch faces?
