Stand names usually have some kind of meaning. For example, Avdol’s name foreshadows his fake out death, while Jean tarot card is reversed at the beginning and returns to its normal position after the Hanged Man arc. There are probably many more examples, but I couldn’t find any meaning behind Steely Dan’s stands name .
(Intro)
BRAP!
Yeah, check it out!
BRAP BRAP!
Amadeo Bordiga in the building! Onuphre Damen on the decks!
No organic centralism without the party, baby!
Everybody dance now!
BRAP!
(Verse 1)
Give me the beat!
The invariant program, you can’t dilute the line
Opportunists and reformists running out of time
The Italian Communist Left is coming through the door
Smashing fascism and democracy right down to the floor
Bordiga says the party is the organ of the class
Not just a council voting while the crisis comes to pass
Damen and the Battaglia, keeping the theory tight
A Communist International rising in the night!
(Chorus)
Everybody dance now!
BRAP!
Invariance of the program!
Everybody dance now!
BRAP BRAP!
Dictatorship of the proletariat!
Everybody dance now!
(Verse 2)
Yo, feel the vibration!
Anti-antifascism, don't fall for popular fronts
Capitalist democracy is pulling all the stunts
Bordiga didn't even care to look at the election
Pure class autonomy, revolutionary direction!
No compromise with the bourgeois state machine
The purest Marxist theory that you've ever seen
Onuphre Damen standing tall for the Internationalist cause
We don't need parliament, we don't need their laws!
(Chorus)
Everybody dance now!
BRAP!
Smash the popular front!
Everybody dance now!
BRAP BRAP!
Class party leads the way!
Everybody dance now!
(Bridge)
BRAP! BRAP! BRAP!
Hold up!
Is it democratic centralism or organic synthesis?
We reject the bourgeois votes, we know what the crisis is!
From Naples to Milan, the communist revolution grows
Wipe out wage labor, that’s how the movement goes!
BRAP!
(Outro)
Yeah!
Bordiga! Damen!
Italian Communist Left holding it down!
No frontism! No parliamentarism!
BRAP BRAP BRAP!
Everybody dance now!
i need it
