Im stupid, why do the same attacks deal way more damage in combo 2 even though its shorter ?
Does the damage scale down with longer attack chains ? Im not really deep into all he technicalities. I just tried to make a combo and during practicing I noticed that...

My first self made Kombo
Recently downloaded MK9 for PC and i honestly dont remember when the last time was that i played this game.
Im not a big FGC guy I like MK, played a little bit of GG with friends, have dabled in SF5, but thats about it. Im deffinetly no expert when it comes to combos and quick inputs:
However Jade (especially MK9 Jade is my fav character in MK) and i dont really care about what charatcers are the strongest. That being said i tried to come up with my own combo without looking up any guides and this is the result.
I made 2 variants, one for X-ray and one without.
2,3 DB4 (can be empowered) FF B4 then...
...either 78
...or DF4 (can be empowered)
Edit: ok the title makes it sound like i never played MK before, obviously i did, but this is the first time i really tried to come up with my own Kombo

This stupid challenge in the first mesa sucks ass. Ive been trying so much now, losing my mind as i try everything out. then i look online for guides and people are like "oh you have to press left,down,circle imedeatly after square"

It doesn´t work, no matter what i try, it will not work, she will not do the attack and i blow the fuck up and can listen to "YOU LOSE" all over again.

Need help with a proximity triggered command chain
I need help with a command chain thats triggered by proximity with u/a[distance
when the player enters a certain area the command blocks have to show a title card, play a sound and play a music disc. when the player leaves a certain area and returns the event has to trigger again.
I know tags can help but i am new to all this command stuff and have no idea how to chain these events and make them work

Kinda bummed that there isnt a physical revered edition for PC
As the title says, wish we would also get one for PC with the artbook, the prints and a code for steam.
I dont own a PS5 and im not sure why they only made one for that console. Its also a super cheap collectors edition at only 70€ which is awesome. But im still not in any position to spend 70€ just for the artbook and prints and then another 50€ on steam for the game itself.
The demo is incredibly fun, it looks really promising.
Maybe ill get a version of the physical revered edition down the line, someday in the future, who knows.

Ngl Mortal Shell 2 feels way better to play than any other souls like (in my opinion)
Its so smooth and fun, you can seemlessly keep comboing, it feels like there is a real flowstate.
I had a fight where i ran at an enemy, made a running heavy, hit him one more time to kill him, dodged another enemy, hit him from behind, parried one enemy while i was locked onto another, switched my lockon to the parried enemy, performed a finisher, switched my log on back to the enemy, shot him killing him and then proceeded to run to the next awesome fight.
Its so much fun, it feels like a mix of souls like and hack n' slash. Every action flows so well into the next one and the animations feel great. And you can be so agresive
I dont really know another souls like that can compete and i will get a lot of hate for this, but especially fromsoft soulslikes cant compete. Its hard to describe, but the combat there just doesnt hit the same, attack animations lack character kind of. The closest thing they made in feels has got to be Sekiro. I like the dark souls games, i love bloodborne but damn this new combat system is already my new favorite.
Honestly the only way i think that this combat system would be even more fun, is if it were paired with trick weapons like in bloodborne.

Ich wolltw mich für ein Studium zum Lehramt an Haupt-, Real-, Sekundar- und Gesamtschulen bewerben, habe aber keine Ahnung was ich als zweifach wählen soll
Als erstes Fach wollte ich Englisch wählen, jedoch kann ich mich nicht für ein zweitfach entscheiden.
Man hat mir verständlicherweise geraten eines zu wählen bei dem ich weniger zu korrigieren habe.
Kunst und Musik fallen, obwohl ich beide mag, weg, da mir die expertise in beiden fehlt.
Naturwissenschaften wären prinzipiel ganz interessant, doch befürchte ich dass mir das Fachwissen dort teilweise fehlt weil wir bei uns im Abitur dort auch extreme lehrer ausfälle hatten. (Ich habe jedoch in einem von dennen ne 2 und in dem anderen ne 3, keine ahnung welches welches ist (also chemie und physik))
Ich habe Geographie in erwägung gezogen, auch wenn ich es selber nicht im Abi hatte, ich weiss nicht ob man die fächer selber gehabt haben muss. Außerdem weiss ich nicht wie viel man in Erdkunde korrigieren muss.
Ich würde gerne in Gesamtschulen arbeiten und mehr in richtung Abitur.
PS: ich schreibe dass hier während ich vermüdet zu fuß unterwegs bin, also ist mir momentan rechtschreibung relatov egal
Edit: Ich sollte erwähnen, ich habe eigentlich relatives interesse an wissenschaft, muss jedoch sagen dass der schulunterricht auch große teile des interesses "gekillt" hat. Ich mag zwar wissenschaft noch, aber es kommt sehr auf die art des unterrichts an.

Axle Boot broke during holiday but we dont have the capability to wait for repairs
This stupid thing was fine before, but then all of a sudden there was a weird clicking noise and lo and behold its broken. I wasnt driving but it seems like the car is still steering normaly, except that noise and all the lost grease.
Repair would take till Monday in the best case scenario, worst case till wednesday or longer, but we need to be back home by sunday !
On the 11 hour ride here we had no issues and now this shit. We dont have enough clothes with us, we have no place to stay, we have not enough money with us aswell.
Its an Audi A3 form 2007/2008, i dont know the exact model
Edit : Hell i was driving the damn thing less then an hour before the noise started and the car was moving fine and smooth ! A mechanic also inspected the car from bottom to top not long ago

Im a 343 hater, but i love Spartan 4s way more than 2s and 3s
As the title says.

I dont know exactly why but i just dont like especially Spartan 2s and how OP they are. I think that also partialy comes from the "Suoer gifted, near perfect genes" stuff, ive never really been a fan of stories like that where the protagonist has some gift that makes them super special.

Spartan 3s are more interesting because they also are less special, they are orphans, augmented and send to suicide missions. And Spartan 4s are just veterans and experts that have been given augmentations.

Ive noticed that, the less special the spartans, the more i like them. I know people dont like the 4s for making Spartans less special and more common, but if anything i want there to be more spartans, it just feels like a natural evolution or the next step for humanity to slowly turn more and more people into spartans. People also dont like the 4s for making ODST's basically obsolete and i have to agree with that, i think ODST's are still some of the coolest units in Halo.

Now i do also agree, the 4s had a horrible introduction with Halo 4, they came off as unprofessional and amateurish, not like actual experts, especially in the Spartan Ops cutscenes.

I also really dont like this "every spartan generation is weaker than the last one" stuff, i feel like at one point the technology would be more efficent in both creating and strengthening spartans in and out of armour. Oh and also, all these feats of the Spartan 2s, i feel are a bit too over the top, but i guess thats just personel prefference.

My mood on Spartans, especially 2s, sways depending on how i feel, from kind of liking them for certain things (like the dark backstory), to actualy disliking them.
​
Now im one of the people who think that 343 has produced failure after failure, i also dont like their retcon of the lore and their new lore, but the Spartan 4s… i actualy love em.

Ok is alpha T H A T bad or what
A bit earlier i made a post where alpha cleared the ppc ice boss in 20 seconds. I attached one of the pics.
Its important to note that she is at SSS but all her memories werent done and her sig was only upgraded to max level, but hat no harmony and hypertuning. The rest of my ice team also isnt ideal, only wanshi and qu (i still hadnt build teddy) both at 5600-6000 BP.
However it seems that other characters can clear the boss in way less than that ?! Like 9 seconds plus minus ?!
Is it just that my build was so shit or is it that alpha is THAT bad ?!
Upon doing some research i have seen a video of SS3 teddy clearing emperor in 10 seconds, i dont know how emperor compares to Madorea but… im kinda disapointed or rather disheartened.
I got Alpha before i was aware of any of those issues and now… my mood is kind of in the gutter and i cant get it out of my damn head.

Im sharing my feedback from the second returning player survey here because A) its too long to fit into what the form allows so i will link this post in the survey and B) i wanted to hear ypur thoughts and feelings about this.

I would seriously like to know what you guys were thinking when making the new Alpha. She is a fan favourite character, but you decide to make her an attacker and a phylotree unit.
Attackers are ridiculously underpowered, they went from the strongest to the weakest class. Breakers are better than attackers, amplifiers are better than attackers. And yet there is still no new class for attacker type characters.
Phylotree characters feel "greedy" in an uncharacteristic way for PGR. I played this game because it was extremely f2p friendly and you could get most characters anytime, well except phylotree characters. If you want to make a class of more limited characters then fine, but they should feel like they deserve it, they should feel powerful, not just in their animations but also in their meta. Thus far, they dont.
Alpha also has the ignition affix, yet already on release she is not part of the meta ignition team… are we deadass ? Powercreep on release ?!
Alpha requires heavy investment to be viable, and even then she is barely an upgrade to other teams. Breakers at a way lower investment point are more viable and versatile, they can even be utilized in other element teams. But no, Attackers are stagnating behind.
Seriously, you make a charcter with an amazing design, gameplay and story and then for some reason you make her almost barely viable ? Why ?
I pulled Alpha to SSS, got her signature and her cub, sadly before i learned of all this. Had i known i would not have invested into her, even if she is my favourite character. I can look past the phylotree stuff, but the rest, its quite frankly ridiculous.The reason i was even able to get such high investment into her was because i had a huge pile of BC and YC lying arround, hadnt used them in a long time and had some luck. But learning of all this stuff… i actualy rerget getting her now.
If she gets kicked out of meta in some months, less than a year or in just slightly longer than a year, by a damn breaker or amplifier, i might actualy stop playing the game, or atleast investing into it/giving you any time and money. Because that would show me a lack of care and an increasingly predatory design. I am a light spender, in the end i am aware that i am not as impirtant to your finances as the whales, especially the chinese ones, but im sure im not the only one who feels like this.
Please either apologize for the missteps, compensate us players or simply… give Alpha a buff, a major buff, maybe even a rework of her numbers. Because as things stand, attackers, who should be the major damage dealers, are not the major damage dealers, or at best only for a very short timeframe.
It would be a shame if a game i actualy quite like, with cool characters and an interesting lore, would fall into the gacha pitfalls it so gracefuly avoided till now (mostly).
There were underwhelming characters before, like Veronica who laked a distinct kit and a design rework that felt inferior to the original, but even then… atleast she was viable.
