I am working my way thru the in game cookbook. Of course there is a recipe that is locked behind a fish I can’t get without being part of that expedition. Does anyone have an Angler fish I might have to complete my recipes? I have a large curious deposit farm and am happy to load up your inventory with nanites for days! I’m an in game hoarder so I have lots of goodies, if you’re seeking something specific I might have one or fifty haha

I love this game! I was just chilling, baked and fishing for some cooking supplies & trying to unlock the legendary fish helm. Found out I’m protected from the weather and elements if I stand on the landing bay elevator & fish.

Today I finally found my first curious deposit nearby to one of my bases. I went to my silos to collect and decided to roam a bit. Found a spot with 14 balls! And it’s a paradise planet with salvage as well. Now if I find a sweet fishing spot I’ll be stoked.

I absolutely love playing NMS while sparking a mini cone.
Yesterday I got to work on my recipe book. Legit spent the day cooking on my freighter, occasionally jumping down to a base for an ingredient I’m missing.
The day before, I spent the whole day chilling on a paradise planet finding parts for my vette.
The day before that I spent the day being a pirate and smuggling goods across the galaxy.
I also spend a lot of time fishing on the most beautiful planets, just hanging out in my corvette landing bay casting into the water below and enjoying the view.
I’ve play quite a lot of video games in all my years. Just for clarity, I’m a grandma who games. Been playing PC games since way back when EQ was in Beta. NMS is by far my favorite game. I’m never bored. And I don’t feel like it’s a grind or repetitive, like other games I’ve played.

Satina, our resident elder (F 19yo), has health probs: kidney & liver, minor heart murmur, borderline diabetes & arthritis.
Peanut (F 1yo) was found in the bushes at 5 weeks old. We kept them separate until Peanut was vaccinated & spayed. Then did slow intros. Eventually giving peanut free roam of the whole house. It was fine at first.
Now Peanut seems to be bullying Satina:
- eating her food, they get the same food in different rooms & it’s never about peanuts bowl being empty.
- stalking her in the litter box, they each have their own
- pouncing, biting the back of her neck & wrestling pretty aggressively. Never any fur flying, never any blood drawn. Just a lot of growling & rolling, bunny kicks.
- chasing her around when she moves about the house
It’s to the point that I’ve used baby gates to quarantine off a section of our home so she can have some peace & quiet. Satina now has her own room set up with a heated bed, food & water and access to her own litter box in a separate room. I don’t do it every day or even all day, sometimes Peanut is less gremlin-y than other days.
Any advice would be appreciated. I didn’t plan on getting a kitten but when the cat distribution system drops an orphan off in your yard, what’s a girl to do!? We did try to find her a good home at first but our state is so overrun with strays we were told consistently “that’s your cat now”

I built my corvette, was able to upgrade to S class. Had a bunch of augments and opened up all slots available. I have 60 tech slots and they are filled. I need to add weapons.
Some of the slots are taken up by shields that I installed on the outside of my corvette, in the workshop menu.
Can I:
Remove those temporarily, freeing up those tech slots
Install the weapon I want in the freed up slot
Then go into the workshop & install those shields again, while retaining the shield % bonus (not the adjacency bonus but the shield % it adds, I think one is like 8%)
Even if it’s not showing up in the tech slot anymore
I hope this makes sense.
