M/35/5’10” [238 >170 = 68lbs lost] (8 months) Weight loss progress

1800 calories a day, 4 weight sessions per week upper lower, didn’t concentrate too much on steps but probably averaged about 7k over the 8 months.

Now looking to build💪🏻

[M4F]

Hi, I’m Paul. 35 from Liverpool in England. Looking for friendship and see where it goes.

I’m mainly into big walks and going the gym. I’m currently losing weight and quitting alcohol so would also be looking for similar so we can be accountability buddies☺️

Also love a coffee☕️

Sounds pretty boring now I’ve wrote down my interests😂

July 14th..

July 14th will be the last day I drink. I’m sick of it.

I only drink at weekends but I’ll smash the gym, smash my nutrition Monday-Thursday. Then Friday I’ll have 8 cans, Saturday 8 then 3/4 on Sunday.

Week ruined. I then spend the rest of the week really hungry and struggling to keep to my calorie deficit whilst my body burns through all the alcohol.

I finally feel normal again on Thursday and the process starts again.

This ends July 14th. I would quit before but I have a few events I’m going to enjoy and see it as a send off. The final one being July 14th.

Excited and looking forward to being free from alcohol and finally getting my body fat down.

Stopping lifting…

Hi all, I’m 230lbs, Male, 5ft 10, 30% body fat. Been lifting on and off for years.

Haven’t seen major improvements as whilst my diet has been decent I just drink and ruin it all at weekends. Because of my weight I do have minor knee pain and I’m at a point where I’m thinking I’d just be better off not lifting and just making sure I don’t drink.

Can somebody please talk some sense into me as I know I’ll regret not lifting if I stop.

Thank you!
