Hi all. I graduated college in 2024 and since then been working a corporate 9-5 job. I've realized that your weekends are so precious, and the cycle of work continues week after week.

I'm curious what you all do to maximize your free time on the weekends. I am single, so I don't have the same responsibilities as someone with a family and kids btw.

So far this is what I typically do on the weekends:

I like to spend 1 day going "out", which either means going to a new restaurant, going downtown, going to a club/bar/rave, run club - really just having fun. Then I spend the other day staying in and just relaxing at home and doing "nothing" - Netflix, video games, etc... with laundry/groceries sprinkled in.

One thing that has been incredibly consistent with me is going to the gym which I tend to knock out in the mornings on the weekends and through out the week.

Curious to know what you all do on the weekends and any tips to maximize productivity. I just feel like my weekends fly by and the work week starts again :(

Hi all, i’m pretty sure I know the answer but I just need validation.

I started talking to this girl that I matched with on tinder a month ago. She’s 24F and i’m 26M.

She is still doing her undergrad in college while working a part time job at a coffee shop. She’s only working right now since it’s summer for her.

I work a normal corporate 9-5 job M-F.

This girl and I have been talking and calling each other for around a month. I’ve been wanting to hang out with her but she seems to supposedly be busy 24/7 with work.

However she always says every once in a while she’s going out with friends or going to concerts.

I ask her to hangout but she says she has to call time off 3 weeks in advance. I’m like “ok cool i’ll be patient”.

I ask her today what we should do in a couple weeks to plan and she’s hesitant and gives me a weird answer.

I feel like there’s always some weird excuse with her not wanting to go out with me.

The odd thing is she always sends me tiktok’s about wanting to go to disneyland with me, couple/relationship type stuff and things to do with me in general.

Shes a real person, I scoped out her instagram and we call regularly too.

I really just want to meet her to figure out if I want to continue pursuing this and if we vibe. Part of me is exhausted by all this because I don’t want to waste time too.

I feel like there’s probably some other reason that she doesn’t want to meet me in person, atleast not yet. Part of me feels like a dick for not being more patient with her. I’m not sure.

Any advice? Thoughts?

I recently got a switch 2 and it would be my first nintendo console since the ds lite.

I see BOTW is 30% off on the eshop and i’m thinking about picking it up since ive heard so many great things about the game.

My problem is im scared I’ll play it and get bored.

I’ve bought a few single player games on my ps5 like ghost of tsushima or star wars fallen order and although these are highly rated games I still get bored from it. Sometimes there would be some puzzle that they would make me do and I would get frustrated and end up playing a different game.

I just don’t want to make the mistake with purchasing BOTW and not touching it after some frustrating part of the game :/

I used to go to empire barbershop in concord but they keep messing me up so i’m looking elsewhere.

I’ve done some research on google/yelp but would like y’all’s opinions as well!

Im from the Bay but I didnt start raving/going to shows until I moved to socal for college. After college I relocated to AZ for work and started raving there too.

When I lived in socal, I would typically use insomniac and the individual DJ's instagrams to look for shows/raves.

And when I was in AZ I did the same but they had "relentless beats" for any show/rave in AZ which was helpful.

I was wondering if the Bay had anything like that? Thanks!

I swear back in 2019-2022 my crunch fitness membership was $50/month. I relocated back to the bay in Walnut Creek again and checked the price and now it's $80/month and that's with the summer discount.

I recently got hired as an Account Manager at a tech company with only a little over 1 yoe as an SDR.

I didnt BS the recruiting team by saying I had AE or AM so they know i’m coming in as a newbie.

To those of you who made the move from SDR to AM or just AM in general do you have any tips and advice on how to succeed. A bit daunting but super eager to start this new role. I have a bit of imposter syndrome

For context this is a bit daunting for me as I only have a little over 1yoe of SDR experience. I didn't BS them saying I had AM/AE experience so they know I'm pretty much a newbie into the AM world btw.

I would like any help in terms of things like how to prepare for role-plays, what kind of common questions they may ask and just what I can most likely expect from a final round AM interview. Thanks!
