A bit ago I overheard a strangers conversation, a couple, I literally heard him say to her “I don’t like listening to you talk. Unless I am asking you something, can you shut the ___ up?” And she just took that. I just couldn’t imagine being spoken to like that. Why do some people date and even marry people who are so awful to them?

I just wanted to vent about what I’m experiencing. Last night after being up for 2 days I decided I was going to get myself asleep no matter what and attempted to knock myself out, by hitting myself in the head. I did sleep last night maybe 5 hours. This is with no caffeine. I feel awful. I am in so much pain. I am dizzy. Insomnias ruined my life. I literally was up for 4 days at the end of college and it almost affected my graduation. I don’t know if its because I have ocd and anxiety and it caused insomnia. I am not able to live like this. I can barely work. I almost have interest in getting MAiD as this does not feel like any quality of life.

I am 22f. I had been texting with a guy off hinge for maybe 5 days. We made plans but I am super under the weather and cancelled. I was going to reschedule but theres certain things he’s said that made me uncomfortable. He said something like most nurses are total b****, that this girl he used to see is a nurse and she is a bit**. He also texts me way too much. Like theres a new one every hour and we haven’t even met, if I don’t respond he seems angry and follows up to ask what I am doing. Has said he hopes we start dating. Just comes off so intense that its making me uncomfortable. I am also a very detached person and like a lot of space. Already saying he wants to date me when we haven’t met feels so off.

Curious if others here experience this? When they come to visit my body becomes numb, I cannot think, my heart races. Sometimes its so bad I have a mini panic attack. I am still trying to breathe deeply now to get rid of the feeling.
