So, im wanting to get into TOW because after a few years of thinking i font really fw the actually game of 40k and AoS. But where i live no one plays TOW.

A friend of my offered to start so i have some to play BUT she is obsessed with the skaven.

Now you see my problem, i want to play old world and she wants to play skaven. I could buy old world chaos warriors and proxy them as slaves of darkness for AoS so i technically have two armies but then the bases will be wrong for at least one if the game systems.... OR... she plays legends skaven for old world.

Is there any way she can play modern old world rules with skaven. I dont know the rules of old world yet since i havent commited to it yet.

I REALLY want to play bretonnia or chaos warriors and REALLY want to play The old world. She REALLY wants to play skaven. Is there a clean and easy way that we can compromise?

sorry if this has been asked 50 gazillion times but asking again gives me the most updated ways that mightve changed with the new updated rules in that cathay starter box.

I loved it all the way through. Cerastes is such a snake but good character. Wrack and her entire thing at the start was sad. Towards the end with the other word bearers was a little bit of a let down because we don’t get to see who they are. The actual ending was not what i was expecting and was a tiny bit rushed through but its still good.
I hope we get a sequel one day because it definitely feels like it was set up for one. Maybe we can learn more about the surviving acolytes of the new word bearers.

Im going onto reading The First heretic next which i got a little ways through before getting distracted lol.

Apostle is gonna be rated high for me no matter what because the author wrote it in a way that hooked me with just how he worded everything. I gotta admit that i got very excited when cerastes summoned all the demons and when the author described him climbing out the the rubble and standing infront of the fighting mass with two blood crushers on both his flanks rushing into the battle. Very cool. When cerastes flung all the purity seals all over the city in a tornado was a cool image to imagine. There is tons of moments which feel like pictures in my mind.

Are we cooked or are they just removing them from the killteam box like some other killteams? Literally the week i was gonna buy a box of arbites and they remove it lol.

I have lost the manual that came with the krieg army box set and now I have no idea hoe to build the models. Is there a place online that has them in a pdf format or something?

The wikis reference the liberation of Phantine (the planet) but there is no citation at all for where this info comes from. IIRC they mention it in "double eagle" and im not sure if they reference it in "interceptor city" because i haven’t finished it so no spoilers please. i know the phantine air corps make an appearance in "guns of tanith" but i also haven’t read that yet.

Is this all there is on the phantine air corps and their respective home world? Or is there something im missing?

I have pre-ordered the "Sabbat worlds crusade" book which goes over the background for that theatre of war and all the books that take place in said theatre, so maybe it says something in that.

I just want to learn more about my favourite little guys in warhammer.

Please refrain form spoilers for any of the "gaunts ghosts" books and "interceptor city" just let me know if they reference the liberation of phantine or not and give me the book name if they do. Thank you.

I thought to ask you all since the phantine air corps is a guard regiment after all and who would know more about the Sabbat worlds than The Guard
