Just started Unite on Switch..

.. And I hace some questions about game;

  1. UI/Pop-Ups

I know, game had some P2W aspects and its fine for me, but is there way manage how many/what all things showing on main menu or pop up when launching game? Last night I closed like 8 screens before main menu.

  1. Should I first do quick matches or straight to ranked?

Im not good atm on Unite, but learning.

  1. Should I try main one Pokemon/style (like melee) once?

Or trying to be Jack of all the trades?

"Weirdest" things u do on Stardew Valley?

Well title says it, but "weirdest" means more funny/not optimal things u do. For me there is 2 what comes my mind;

  1. Sitting/'AFK'ing on town hours on IRL -time

I like go to town and AFK/just chill there hours (running to home sleep) or at bar. Just watching NPCs walking around.

  1. Running around map like it is marathon

Running there and here without any plans just to pass time. This probably where most my hours coming.

What about you? :)

HRoC ruined PoE for me (good way)

I've been playing Path of Exile for a long time, mostly caster builds, and most recently RF way too many times.

Then it happened: I discovered the HRoC Necromancer, and I am totally sold. The league is already drawing to a close, but I still find myself playing—just one more map, just one more boss, just one more...

The tankiness, the damage, and the playstyle—it's a bit like playing melee or a CoC build, yet you're still a summoner. It took a fair bit of work to get everything together in SSF, but it was absolutely worth it. Even though my build isn't even fully optimized, it just breezes through map after map, boss after boss.

You don't even need to worry about map mods; no-regen and the like are no problem at all.

I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance.

Why u like SSF?

For me, biggest thing is: I can start like week before league end and still enjoy my journey, I dont need pricecheck every time I drop something nice. Even 1c unique can be build enabling, when u hit ur first 6L, first nice boots/gloves or get chaos res capped etc its so nice.

Even u level char X, and drop item what makes build Y possible, u can just reroll. Even u like save a lot items, if u reroll build S and remember "oh, I have item A what fits perfectly on this".

What about u? :)

My honest opinion about Xbox PoE prt. 2

Hello again, everyone!

I wrote about this subject a while ago, but now that I’ve been playing more (maybe even too much) of the Xbox version of Path of Exile, I’d like to share some insights and thoughts from a "novice" console player’s perspective. I started completely from scratch—yep, no paid stash tabs, MTX, or any bells and whistles. (Luckily, for the next league, I’ll be switching accounts so I can use my paid stashes).

  1. Overall Vibe (PC vs. Console)

The overall vibe is pretty much the same, though I initially struggled to get used to the console UI. With my first character, I almost died a few times simply because my eyes weren't used to looking at the top corner of the screen. Managing mana was also annoying at first since I was used to the blue globe instead of a bar.

Otherwise, there isn’t that much of a difference—global chat is active on both, and running through the Acts is just as tedious on PC as it is on console! :D

  1. Controls and Related Mechanics

Playing on console—especially with 1–2 button builds—is actually more comfortable than on PC, in my opinion. Even though you can use a controller on PC (and I definitely plan to do so in the future for simple builds like RF or minions), the experience here is solid.

One thing that annoyed me: I didn’t realize at first that I should leave the A button empty or bind it to a less important skill. My inventory was constantly filled with useless junk because I was mashing A as fast as I could.

Auras, automation, and "once per map" skills felt very smooth when bound behind the shoulder triggers.

The biggest issue, for me and likely many others starting out, was flasks. Before getting Instilling Orbs, I didn't even feel like using flasks in slots other than the bumpers, even though they are vital. Once I got good mods on them, the situation improved significantly.

  1. Economy, Activity, and More

I knew the console economy was more expensive than PC, but I didn't realize it was this bad. Some items, regardless of rolls, easily cost 2–3 times more than on PC, and certain items (even essential ones) are simply not available. Async trade helps a bit, but not much.

On the other hand, based on my experience, items with even a little bit of value sell very quickly. A few 7–10 Divine items sold almost instantly, even if the price was a bit high or there were no other similar items on the market.

The activity in global chat on Xbox surprised me. No matter what time I played, there was always someone chatting or linking items—usually high-end gear that isn't even for sale.

People were also very helpful; many linked good 6L items and armor in chat "for free," and leveling gear was being handed out constantly. Still, I’d say playing PoE on Xbox feels a bit like "semi-SSF."

  1. Performance and Technical Stuff

I played three different builds: SRS Guardian, Ignite Penance Elementalist, and RF Chieftain. I haven't had any significant performance issues on the Xbox, and (knock on wood) the game hasn't crashed once—even though the whole screen tends to explode sometimes with the Elementalist.

The game boots up fast, and loading times are short.

  1. Could I play on Xbox permanently?

Maybe not yet. The Xbox is a nice platform for running a build or two after I’m "done" with the league on PC. It’s especially great because the activity on Xbox seems to stay high even this late into the league.

I’d also love to try PoE 2, but I haven't managed to snag an Early Access key yet.

That’s about it! If you have the chance to dive into the world of console PoE, it can be quite refreshing. Some builds truly shine with a controller.

Mystic refractor on SSF?

I got that wand on SSF and wondering, what u can build around it; FRoSS self-cast? Winter orb? All ideas welcome, I have some gear and can always craft/farm more unless uber uniques (i can do those but not comfy).

Worb CI occultist with curse ring would be good, but idk? :)

Got nice base, but not useful?

Thinking smth like pc stacking occultist CI, but kinda bad base for that and missing recovery hurts? Any ideas or just nice item?

u/Velkaneuvoja — 2 months ago

How to craft something like that?

Farm rituals for base, elder for exalt, essences for hysteria(?), veiled chaos and..? :)

Palkatonta siksi ajaksi?

Enough gear for Minion pact BV?

If I have +2 minion honourhome, nebulis with bad mods but 10% roll, minion pact and cloak + exarch shield, would that be enough to basic minion pact bv? Like comfy t16 box farming etc?

SSF RF or not..?

Been playing SSF, started penance ignite elementalist, clear is good bossing kinda meh. Game drops me immortal flesh, cloak, decent +1 dot multi sceptre and rise of the phoenix. Is it worth to swap another mapper build to another? Surely RF going to be way tankier tho. I feel this is sign.
