Hey everyone! What have been your "biggest" mistakes or foolish things you've done over the years while playing Path of Exile? I'll start;

1.Copying a build from PoE.ninja without checking prices

Well, one league I decided to sell my old, extremely well-working build when I found an interesting build on ninja. Well, after selling it, I respecced my character and realized that the price of my previous character's gear wouldn't even cover a proper weapon and shield for the new build. That was the end of that league for me. Nowadays I've learned that if I copy a build from ninja, I get/craft everything first OR at least keep the old character intact before doing anything.

2. Copying a zHP Sanctum runner

A Shockwave Totem build, which I (again) found on Ninja - I only looked at the damage and nothing else, until I realized the build basically died if an enemy so much as looked at me. That was easy to fix though, unlike the mistake in point 1.

How about you guys?

I was browsing through poe.ninja's SSF selection a while back to get some inspiration for an SSF build, in case I decide to do a full SSF restart now that I've pretty much done everything (I want to) on the trade side.

I came across an amusing phenomenon: on the SSF side, there were quite a lot of characters around level 80–90 that haven't been played since, with some players either rerolling a new one or switching to trade (either going back or moving SSF -> Trade), doesn't really matter.

Anyway, does anyone here play in a way where you first do everything you want in trade and then move over to SSF? What do you usually reroll in SSF, what are your goals, and do you like to test how "SSF-viable" Build X is? Share your experiences on playing trade -> SSF during a league.

Ok title sounds funny, but I just decided to sell everything I have and gamble MB and finally, after some fails, I got it. Well, now I sitting only MB and like 5D + some chaos on my name and decided finally give a MB shot. But, problem is; what "budget" build works well with MB and ofc when I play more I can get upgrades.

I have some basic gear, like shaper life on block left what I can re-use. No Luminary, played it already :)

I know, kinda funny question.

If u start this late, what would be your 1. pick on starter on PC economy? Been blasting 2 chars around 100 on Xbox (Worb and Luminary) so want something different this time. :)

1. What is comfiest (less respeccing) to level 1-34?

2. When hitting lv34 and reaching Sceptre Of God, can I swap ti "bot mode" or should I still have damage skill myself too?

3. Should I "fish" half decent merc on act3?

4. How far that act3 merc can "carry", like should I stress too much on it gear?

I kinda have FOMO to roll one luminary build this league but im pretty broke, wondering what version is cheapest to roll which is not like 0 dps or glass cannon? No need instakill anything or be immortal, just good for alch and go T16s and basic bosses :)

Hey there, r/GroundedGame folks!

I’ve been thinking about jumping into this game for a long—like, really long—time. Now that I noticed you can get Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just one euro for 2 weeks, and while browsing the game library I finally stumbled upon Grounded being included in it, there were no more "excuses" to refuse playing. And oh boy...

I'm relatively new to the console world, but on PC I'm a long-time fan of RUST/DayZ/7 Days To Die. And even though some of the aforementioned are very PvP-oriented (which I feel I'm pretty good at, but still), in some weird but great way, this game just hit entirely differently.

Even though Palworld and DayZ are probably both included in the Game Pass as well, I wanted to try something completely new to me.

And oh boy, if I may repeat myself. After a quick download (pretty small file size, btw), controller in hand, and straight into the game. Well, for my first save, I decided to use Custom settings (didn't change anything radically, just set the difficulty to easy and turned up some spawn times) just to get a feel for the world and the game.

And after just the first hour, I am totally hooked. The atmosphere while walking around, exploring, building, fighting, and having that constant thought of "I wonder what's behind the next hill/mountain" keeps me completely gripped. Extremely good job, Obsidian.

I can only imagine how hard this game will suck me in once I get to build a proper base and have more (and more) resources at my disposal.

There wasn't really much point to this post, but if you made it this far, I have a few questions:

1. When is it worth starting to build an "official" base? Is a small little shack good enough at first just to sleep and store items in?

2. The game has a story—is it worth sort of rushing through it, or should I play it more with a Minecraft mindset, treating the game as a sandbox?

1. Is there levels/things to unlock while playing?

2. Is there events/freeroam?

3. Is this P2W?

Yo all! Recently downloaded Valorant on my Xbox and even im still very bad on it, enjoying a lot. I feel im "meatbag" for my teammates but learning after every match. Anyhow, im new of this style of games, what regular tips u have for me? Going to stay Unrated for while when learning heros, weapons etc. Is there like good hero to learn if new? :)

Im totally noob on Albion and PvP MMOs, going first focus on gathering and skilling - what else I should to know? I want to get hooked up :)

Going to give a shot on ToTA event, and want to know what is best all-rounder tota event build to do? I dont care ToTA itself but want to mess around w/ new ascendancies - smth what makes levelling and mapping breeze? :)

.. And I hace some questions about game;

1. UI/Pop-Ups

I know, game had some P2W aspects and its fine for me, but is there way manage how many/what all things showing on main menu or pop up when launching game? Last night I closed like 8 screens before main menu.

2. Should I first do quick matches or straight to ranked?

Im not good atm on Unite, but learning.

3. Should I try main one Pokemon/style (like melee) once?

Or trying to be Jack of all the trades?

Well title says it, but "weirdest" means more funny/not optimal things u do. For me there is 2 what comes my mind;

1. Sitting/'AFK'ing on town hours on IRL -time

I like go to town and AFK/just chill there hours (running to home sleep) or at bar. Just watching NPCs walking around.

2. Running around map like it is marathon

Running there and here without any plans just to pass time. This probably where most my hours coming.

Yo, looking for low battery consumable RPG game on Android with next things;

1. Lot of unlocking

2. No energy/stamina system

3. Daily things to do

4. Active playerbase

5. 2D/2.5D (3D is not bad)

6. RPG/MMO

I know its very late on lesgue, but still now global chat looks dead as not saying what. Last night I played and chat was active, now 3 hrs and 0 messages. What global chat u xboxers using? :)

I've been playing Path of Exile for a long time, mostly caster builds, and most recently RF way too many times.

​Then it happened: I discovered the HRoC Necromancer, and I am totally sold. The league is already drawing to a close, but I still find myself playing—just one more map, just one more boss, just one more...

​The tankiness, the damage, and the playstyle—it's a bit like playing melee or a CoC build, yet you're still a summoner. It took a fair bit of work to get everything together in SSF, but it was absolutely worth it. Even though my build isn't even fully optimized, it just breezes through map after map, boss after boss.

​You don't even need to worry about map mods; no-regen and the like are no problem at all.

​I highly recommend giving it a try if you get the chance.

I kinda have FOMO to try HRoC cuz never played, whats like minimum to feel good on t16-17 maps, bosses (ubers or not) and overall? Diallas, trigger foil, holy relic helmet, ashes? :)

Even 0.5.0 coming tomorrow? I still have some projects I want to test so probably going to play 50/50 atleast some days.

I still have test ele hit, I want finish my ignite penance brander and also want finish challenges.
