Hey guys! So i recently decided ill be taking the OMPT-A for a uni and i need 75% in my first try to have a chance in getting in. I took the OMPT-D a few months ago and failed to acheive my required grade (75%) and got only 46%. Im just wondering if i should expect a test as hard as the OMPT-D and if there is any free resources available to study and to get some help in how to study for this test cause i feel like its pretty hard to study only based in the practice material ( for the OMPT-D i used AI to give me more exercises and practice more). If anyone has ny thoughts on this test id love to hear about it!

Hey guys! So i decided to apply for the next years's IBEB intake in Erasmus but i have a small inquire. I am an international student from Brasil and my High School diploma is not the same as in the Neatherlands. While i thought i just needed to take a math test and an english proficciency test together with the brazilian ENEM, ive heard some people say that because my diploma is not the equivalent to the one in the Neatherlands i am not eligible for an application, can you guys help me out?

Hey everyone! I was looking into Texas A&M finance program and i found it very attractive and was looking to get some insight on the program about placement in the job market, how is it perceived in texas and the overall experience in the program.

Test Scores: 1370 SAT (640 RW and 730 MATH)
Extracurricular Activities: 2 Mock Trials, Summer Camp about business, organized and was the leader of a volunteer group in my school, 1 MUN (mid stats ik ik )
Awards: 6 National Academic Olympiad (Gold in Financial Mathematics, Geography, Geopolitics and English competitions. Silver in English, Bronze in Geopolitics and in Financial Mathematics)
Cambridge 187 C1, still need TOEFL tho.

PS: Cant retake the sat, also can somenone explain to me what is the Corps od Cadets program? ive heard i could get aid through it from some guy in reddit.

I am wondering if, even with terrible grades (7,5/10 in all years of high school), if i would have any chance of getting in this program? (if i could compensate in the other 50% or without good grades i have no chance)

Eu não sei se esse é o melhor sub pra contar minha experiencia mas eu sofri MTO pra tirar o siso hj. Preciso tirar 3, 2 de um lado e 1 do outro embaixo. A ideia hj era tirar tudo de uma vez (só tirei um no final das contas), cara eu me considero uma pessoa tranquila e tava tudo indo bem até o momento que ela injetou a anestesia, uma sensação esquisita, incomodo, mas eu pensei tudo vai ficar suave agora então tava aguentando lá. Aí começou a formigar meu rosto e eu já tava tremendo um pouco mas quando ela começou a me mexer de lado pro outro, parecia que eu tava morrendo de frio de tanto q eu tremia. Eu nunca passei por isso antes, sempre soube q eu era chato pra ir no médico tomar vacina e etc, mas eu sempre enfrentei agora isso q aconteceu comigo foi bizarro nunca me ocorreu. Outra coisa eu comecei a sentir dor no meio do procedimento, eu não tinha ideia q isso podia acontecer, aí tiveram que me enfiar mais anestesia. Final das contas eu vou ter q voltar naquele lugar pra tirar 2 outros siso ( um já meio q nasceu e outro é em cima que dizem que é mais tranquilo) e eu to me CAGANDO de medo, real considerando a anestesia geral mas ainda tenho medo de acordar com sequelas dessa anestesia. Enfim perdão pelo texto chulo (juro que não escrevo assim normalmente) e acho q se enquadrou no sub por ser um desabafo. sla talvez eu só seja um medroso de médico e dentista.

Hey guys! So in a couple of months i will start an Engineering program in Polimi as an Undergraduate student. Although i really like Engineering, i feel like there is much more money in the financial market. I will persuit this degree, however i really like to plan ahead, and i was already looking for a masters in finance that might help me break into this market. I have some inquires regarding what should be my moves to acheive a finance masters program in a top uni:

-What should i focus on during my undergraduate years?
-Does being a stem degree hurts my application to a Finance program?
-Do the top tier unis consider the rigor and academic quality of my uni and program?
-What GPA or percentage should i aim for?
-Any tips and helpfull thoughts in general?

Hey guys! So i just graduated high school and i will be persuing a degree in engineering. Ive heard is a well known path for breaking into IB or Finance in general but i wanted to know what are some activities and projects that i should invest my time during my bachelors degree to shift my career from an Engineering path into a Finance path? (Also is it really necessary for STEM majors like an engineering degree to persuit a masters degree right after to really switch into this career?)

I was wondering if there is there good amount of Polimi students attending masters in finance or econ?

Hey guys! This year i decided to apply for POLIMI'S new programs and as my country is VERY far away from Europe, no one in my town havent even heard of Polimi. So i have a couple of questions about the uni and its student life:

General Inquiries:

-How is the International community in the main campus and in Piachenza?
-Will i encounter difficulty participating in academic projects or uni events as i only speak english?
-Will i encounter any social problems being international?

Academic Inquiries:

-How is Polimi perceived out of Italy? (for the job market)
-Is there a list of the academic clubs that i can check out?
-How is Polimi viewed for a masters out of Italy? (is it well regarded?)

PS: Id be happy to hear any experience or opinion in any of my inquires! 😄

So i uploaded my sat scores and all document except the CIMEA and it still says this. I did all this process of sending the scores through the college board website like may 19 and it still shows this message, should i be worried of not making into the rankings? Is there anything to do other than wait? What is the procedure to participate in the rankings?

Quite desperate cause its getting closer to the deadline.

if i registered my SAT, already uploaded the documents except the CIMEA, sent the socre on college board and selected my course preferences, did i apply for the new bachelors and just need to wait now? is there any fee to pay other than the one of sending the score to polimi?

Hey everyone! So i am looking to apply for the new Industrial Engineering Bachelor and i am very confused of how things work regarding when i should apply and how the different phases and rankings work. My 3 big questions are:

-Which phase am i eligible for application as a non eu student?
-How exactly does the rankings work?
-When will i be able to apply? (the dates)

I am still waiting for any word from the admissions office but they are taking too long to respond so id appretiate if anyone can help me!
