This is the worst Reddit update ever.
My Duolingo widget on my phone was indicating I hadn't done my lesson today, so I clicked it. I normally do a lesson or two first thing in the morning, but sometimes I forget. Oddly enough, there were only 5 energy points remaining. Even if I'd done some lessons in the morning, there ought to be more than 5 points. So I spent some gems on a refill and did a few lessons. Afterward, I checked my streak calendar and saw this. WTF?

I still can't receive the World Cup event on Android but it's appearing on the Play Store and that widget.
Honestly, I would like to see that on Android because it's an event and it doesn't make any sense to be iOS only.

Hey everyone! I’m thinking about starting Russian and wanted to get your honest thoughts on the Duolingo course.
I know the app is decent for basic vocabulary, but since Russian has a completely different alphabet and pretty tough grammar, I'm not sure if it's actually worth the time.
Has anyone here tried it? Is it good for beginners, or should I just look for something else from day one? Thanks!
