For the first time I turned off the cross play in Ranked. And oh my god, the difference is staggering. I recommend you guys to atleast try a session of this, and tell if you can see a difference.

It legitimately felt that I was fighting legit players.

Like players that played like humans and made mistakes on their wakeups.

Who didn't just happen to guess correctly 25 times in a row against a player they never played before.

Their movement felt a lot more normal.

I don't know, it just felt like I was playing against humans for once. Why the difference is this huge between PC and Console I don't know

Alex Prowler is literally unbeatable lol.

You cant jump on him because he has a million anti airs in it. you can't drive rush into him ,you can't fireball him. You cant jab him out of it or jump him because he has an armor move

Lol ,this is fucking dumb as this has no weaknesses.

There is literally no reason to rematch this character until they make it vulnerable to atleast where you can hit him out of it

I know everyone talks about rank inflation, but am the only one that really looks at the percentile?

I know that a lot of people talk about GoD being easier to get etc. but I dont think about that, what I personally think about is just the percentile more than anything. So my goal to get back to around where I was in T7/S1 T8 when i quit, i have to get to GoD3. Wether GoD is rank inflated means very little to me as it is the 22% that is all it tells me, which ti me means nothing as i am aiming for around the top 5~7 percentile ( not looking to go pro, but looking to be competent

Tekken 8s biggest problem for the players that aren't pros, is that too many characters in this game do not have to play neutral, this is not only a problem in Tekken 8,but was so in 7 as well.

I am planning to make a tier list of characters that doesn't have to play neutral so they don't take any skill imo, vs those that do.

Lars,Alisa,Nina,Kunimitsu,Eddy,Raven,Xiaoyu,Leo

The big problem with these characters is they don't have to play the neutral. All of their attacks have so much forward momentum, that you have to know all their frames options and strings.

I cannot remember ever whiff punishing these characters. And the primary reason why is just because there is nothing to whiff punish. Everything they do has so much forward momentum ,you cannot do anything about it. They are not linear enough to where side step is reliable and they are also too safe in my opinion.

Anyone else run into this problem of only playing 1 character alone makes the game you play incredible boring quick? Even if it halts your improvement to play several?

I feel like I'm unable to play only 1 and it kind of sucks as it halts my progress

One thing I haven't seen before or since (It may have happened in other media) is how "the Chosen One" ultimately became a bad guy. I like this aspect about Star Wars

I consume a lot of media, and I don't think I see this too much where the savior, or ultimate paragon was gonna become the bad guy.

Now ,yes, we all knew he would, because we saw the end before the beginning. But the whole "The destiny" Person becoming evil is kind of cool.

I legit believe losses is not what largely causes people to salt. I have gone on winstreaks and just got just as salty if not more than when I would win.

I believe when shit doesn't work in the game like it is supposed to,that is what causes the salt.

When you are in the corner and pressing your DI to counter your opponnents, that is tilting.

When by frame data, if your opponent presses a jab and then press a medium and you retunr with jab, and by frame data, you won,but it traded. That is tilting.

Pressing stuff like Ryu F.HP into medium punch and trading with jabs that is tilting.

Having the opponent mash on wakeup and somehow work for them when you have done that timing so many times before. that is tilting.

Getting Level 3 comboed because you guessed wrong and got your DP Blocked is whatever, who cares.

I just don't think people understand why people tilt. They just boil it down to losses, but it is a very big oversimplification.

A lot of the salt from me usually is feeling like the game doesn't work properly

Anyone else feel like there is quite a lot of people using auto tech scripts? They will never eat the shimmy but always guess perfectly against someone they have fought the first time. Yet these people will eat every single CrMK and sweep

How is this even possible?

Hot take: Anyone feels that for a community about "everything is your fault",They want to remove throw loops because those players don't want to take responsibility for the neutral they lost?

For me, the problem was the corner carry, not the throw loops. In SFV, I was put in the corner and I didn't see what the big deal was, because I didn't really feel threatened. In SF6 I do feel really threatened, but anyway.

The corner carry like Ken landing one hit into the corner or full screen back throw, was always the issue for me.

But I feel that for a community that is all about get good, they themselves will cry to the devs to remove the throw loops which, it is not "round start" then you are in the corner. So I just find it stupid that a community about accountability are effectively blaming the game

Why are people in Casual Matches playing like their life is on the line?

I don't understand. These players play like their lives depend on it. Instead of going into ranked to play like that, these people legit have no chill and just do this in casual

Is anyone else besides me experiencing this issue with the game, where you are crouch blocking in the corner, your opponent is DIing , you mash the hell out of your counter DI and it just doesn't come out. And that 1 moment in a blue moon when it does come out, you go "IT CAME OUT!?"

I genuinely don't know what is up with this game.I am sitting there WAITING for my opponents DI literally, I don't care how many times I get thrown. Is it the input reader that makes it where if you hold down back, somehow that interferres with the DI input? wether it is the bind or the hard punch hard kcik, this is a consistent issue

Are fighting games too high maintence to be played casually? I just came back from a 6-7 month break and I feel like I've gotten destroyed for 2 whole days.

I went away from SF6 in 6-7 months and so much of my skill disappeared in that time. I am going down to like 1300MR where I left after a 1500 MR reclimb

My winrate at the moment is like 40%, Maybe the master players got better but still.

Reaction and comfort with the ant airs. My ground game sucks, my gameplan in general is garbage ,even when I win I feel I played horribly.

Is this genre just too high maintenance where you will lose significant amount of skill and get rusty and due to that, you can't go on extended breaks?

Do you think DMC3's DMD was intended to be played with Super?

I am currently doing DMC3 on DMD Having done 2 runs.

One with Super Costumes + Items Which was just me on a bad day wanting to finsih it.

I did a run where I managed to do it itemless until having to use 2 vital stars on Arkham and like 4 on Vergil 3.

Currently I have a save file at Mission 19 itemless for when I'm gonna go back to it which is not it right now. I took a month break from DMD after hitting Mission 12 because of how taxing it was.

But do you believe when the devs made the game, that they intended for the player to be using Super costumes? As you get it from beating Very Hard, and it isn't even a true Super, you get the real Super after you beat DMD.

I ask because I did Vergil 3 with Super and it basically made it quite easy. The main reason why comes down to Vergils Summoned Sword into Teleport not destroying your life bar + the stat increases

Even though Ninja Gaiden 2 Black on Warrior difficulty is one of the best action games of all time it feels too fair and doesn't feel like Ninja Gaiden until you start playing on Mentor. Am I alone in feeling this?

I feel like Warrior difficulty makes it one of the perfect action games of all time up there with DMC3 and Bayonetta. But it just feels too fair and doesn't feel like Ninja Gaiden.

Dying on Warrior and going "I deserve this" Just feels wrong rather than "it's bullshit" which is where Mentor happens and a Spider Ninja just grabs you and decides to blow itself up along with 50%

Anyone else struggled with Chapter 18 on Ninja Gaiden Sigma's Very Hard mode?

Very Hard with items is relatively easy until you get to this fight.

I have 3 elixirs, 2 revives and This boss gauntlet of Alma Clone , Dominatrix and whatever his name is effing me up.

I have managed to beat Alma Clone,Dominatrix a couple of times, and if I do try ,I probably will be able to win. But holy hell, this gauntlet is a nightmare.

My items may seem excessive, but it really isn't when 1 hit more often than not takes half my health bar.

Anyone felt "My soul is saying it wants to stop you!" Had the same energy as "Dark soul with light" but it actually worked because of the deliery?

The line is just as bad imo as "Dark soul with liiiiight" but I always bought it,and most of the time was because Reuben delivered it with 100% conviction.

anyone feels like it was just as dumb, but it worked

Am I the only one who hates the whole character switching in this genre?

I don't mind if it is for like 1 mission maybe. But having to switch characters ruins it for me. I wish sequels in this genre would understand that pick 1 or let us chose

Do you think it is a bad take to say that DMC1 and DMC3s DMD modes are unfair?

This is ONLY about DMD mode as that changes everything.

I have beaten 1 on DMD itemless and it was just to finish it itemless as I played the game to death,so it felt like kind of an obligation, and running through 3 right now. And It does feel unfair to me.

I always felt atleast in 1s case, with how much damage the bosses do on DMD, that camera issues should not be a thing as you die in 3 hits. Also stuff like Mundus is just universally considered bs, but I am wondering what people's thoughts are overall

is ninja gaiden sigma just a grindfest on very hard and above? It just feels like you are constantly grinding for items to off set the cheapness of grabs and camera issues

It just feels like I am just grinding out (killing enemies to clear rooms in general but with UT etc) just to get enough items to make it through.

It isn't really all that hard, if you just grind and max out your items

Lol,wut? the 2nd Boss in Ninja Gaiden Sigam falls off the horse and starts fighting you? Is this something random that happens?

I just started a new game on Ninja gaiden Sigma after my Hard playthrough, which showed some really really really cool enemy types.

I started a new game and this dude falls off and starts running around, is this a luck thing? I don't think he has ever done this before
