I want to petition Paradox to change the Console Version to M

Okay I’ve played CK3 for the past two years and I’m obsessed. I’ve played Hoi4 and Eu4 on my laptop but I can’t run CK on it. When I saw it was on console I was so excited. I didn’t really realize that it was censored until two months back.

I wanted to rename my Netsorian Syriac Kingdom Assyria, but the game censored Ass so it was just Yria. It really pissed me off and I only learned a couple of weeks ago that nudity is a thing on PC and generally more immersive stuff.

It pisses me off. I understand that Paradox wanted it to be available for more people but it just kinda screws with the whole setting. You can fucking order mass executions and the wiping out of entire cultures and houses but God forbid you see a woman naked.

It just so immersion breaking and completely screws with some faiths too specifically Adamitism.

Is there any way that we can get Paradox to change the rating to M so that it is the same as the PC version. It could also help with transferring DLC from PC to console.

If there is ever a Roman AC when and where should it be?

Me and my friend were discussing yesterday what time period and region an Ancient Roman AC game should take place.

My Idea: I think that an AC game should be set in a bit of overlap with and after Origins and perhaps playing as or a pupil of Aya/Amunet during the Post Caesarean Civil Wars (Liberators, Mutina, Actium, Sicilian Campaign). We already know that Brutus and Cassius were aligned with the Assassins and that Aya kills Cleopatra with an Asp. As for targets of course Cleopatra, but also Marcus Antonius should be part of the Order of Ancients but perhaps also Sextus Pompey and a few others. I don’t think Augustus would be an Order member but perhaps more of an Alfred the Great character who sought to use the Hidden Ones as a means to an end to solidify his own influence. As for locations I think that Rome is 100% necessary, with missions taking place at big battles like Phillipi, Actium, and Alexandria.

My Friends Idea: He believes that a Roman AC game should happen during the 3rd Century Crisis. I can see the appeal since it was a massive time of upheaval and could easily have lots of historical assassinations my biggest gripe is just how chaotic it would be. Plus it’s a massive time period but I think he would want it around the time Aurelian took charge and finished off the Palmyrene and Gallic Empires.

What do you guys think?

Should Ubisoft have Altair able to swim in an AC1 Resync?

Okay saw a meme the other day about how Altair drowns. I think I remember it being something with the animation or hardware.

Should Altair be able to swim? There isnt much standing water in the Holy Land besides the Dead Sea and the coast along with the Jordan River and other rivers that go through some cities like the Barada in Damascus.

I personally think that Altair shouldn’t be able to swim. I think that it will keep the gameplay more challenging without another angle to go from plus it would keep continuity with the original.

How widespread is the use of Gaelic languages?

I’m an American and my father visited Scotland a while back and noted the amount of Scottish Gaelic he saw.

I‘m curious. Is Gaelic all that used in speech aside from signs and names? and is it just Scottish Gaelic and Welsh that are being revived or are others like Cornish being revived as well?

Feeling Unworthy for a Girlfriend in College

Hello 18M

I‘m about to go to college and I feel like no woman would want me.

Im studying Anthropology at the University of Montana planning on either being an Archaeologist, Cultural Resource Manager, or a Foreign Service Officer. Not all that high paying but I might be able to make a bit of money.

I have a 3.9 GPA and all honors classes and did National Honors Society in Highschool and got my Eagle Scout earlier this year.

I grew up in a VERY atheist household and I haven’t been able to start OCIA until I leave for school in the next few weeks. I try my best to be as pious as I can and keep as best I can to Catholic doctrine. I remain chaste and will until marriage. I admit that I still struggle with lust and consume pornography every once in a while and the guilt really gets me after but I will use all my power to resist it once I am baptized.

I have the curse of looking so young that I was mistaken for a freshman during multiple graduation parties. I’m not muscular nor am I skinny or fat. I’m planning on working out more when Im in college.

When it comes to hobbies I’m the kind of guy who watches documentaries for fun and mountain bike. I have a special interest in history and like playing video games.

I have high functioning Autism which for those who don’t know means that I don’t look or sound autistic most of the time but I am terrible at social cues and understanding nuance. This I fear is a big no go for a lot of women from what I can tell. It’s something that is part of who I am and I understand if people would never date me for it. If it isn’t already obvious I have never had a Girlfriend before.

I admit I can be annoying or at least I think I can be annoying and accidentally interrupt at times.

I don’t cold approach or plan on using dating apps.

I would desire to be married to someone who most importantly loves me for who I am. Something I fear won’t be easy for any woman and I dont really care about how she looks so long as she is taking care of herself and trying to stay healthy. I’m not some “incel” or “manosphere” kind of guy and believe in the equality of the sexes and don’t like the idea of a tradwife as it feels kind of weird to me.

I socialize and have a few close friends both man and woman and will continue to socialize in college but I fear how women in college will see me. I’m well aware that college is awash with numerous different ideas and beliefs and preferences. But even with Catholic women I don’t blame and understand why they wouldn’t want a man like me. Especially since I’m not as big into talking about faith and god as others.

I understand I should trust God that he has a plan for me but shouldn’t I have a desire to not be lazy and be proactive. I mainly fear being alone for life a life I do not want.

I feel like I’m always going to be second rate and second choice when it comes to dating and that is something I don’t want.

If you have read all of this thank you. It is really difficult for me to express my emotions and feelings.

In the end I mainly want to know. Is it reasonable for me to meet a woman in Highschool who would love me and who I could have a good relationship with and possibly go on to marry?

Archaeology outside of the USA what are the options?

18M I’m going to the University of Montana for Anthropology.

I’ve been interested in going into archaeology for a while now and I feel somewhat disheartened by the relatively low salary compounded by our crappy and expensive healthcare system.

I have a special interest in medieval history as well as European history. But I have also been discouraged from Europe due to very difficult immigration and work laws plus lower wages if I were to go there.

Im an Eagle Scout, 3.9 GPA, All Honors Classes, and gifted with High Functioning Autism especially interested in history.

I mainly just want to know if there are any other nations where there might be some chances at making a decent wage and a decent chance of being able to move there.

Im open to most places as long as they are mostly safe. Any ideas or suggestions for me?

Would all of you like to get married at some point?

18M

Ive heard some people among this Generation saying that they would not like to be married. The way I see it is that finding somebody to spend your life with is important and makes a more fulfilling life. Unless of course you are asexual or aromantic. Then I totally get it.

Do you people want to get married someday. And If so to who?

What is life like in the Foreign Service? Upsides and Downsides.

Hi

18M

Lived and born in the USA.

Going to the University of Montana to major in Anthropology.

I was originally going to George Washington University, got accepted but the cost was ridiculous.

High Functioning Autistic guy, Eagle Scout, All Honors classes in Highschool.

I was originally going to go into Archaeology but I’m second guessing myself. I’m a bit dismayed by the poor salaries of Archaeologists but it is still something that I am very interested in.

My Autism is a blessing in some subjects. Geography, History (especially early modern and modern), Modern Politics and conflicts. All of these I am super interested in and very good at. I did a Capstone project in Highschool about Irredentism and it’s effects on modern geopolitics.

I’ve had the idea of joining the Foreign Service in the back of my mind. I have a big fascination with foreign cultures and histories.

I‘m minoring in Latin (kind of useless or useful depending on who you ask) but I also took three years of Highschool Spanish.

I‘m trying to understand if the foreign service specifically working at an embassy could be a good career path for somebody like me and what reasons are there to and to not go into the foreign service.

Thanks for reading this whole thing.

Does anybody else feel like they have to explain themselves when they say they are Catholic?

I have experienced this many times. It really tires me out when I have to explain time and time again with people who immediately assume that because I am in the midst of converting to Catholicism they immediately assume I’m like Nick Fuentes or something like that and explain my faith.

Does this happen to anybody else?

Was watching the old ads for the ME Trilogy and found it interesting.

I‘m only 18 so my first experience with Mass Effect was when I saw it on Gamepass about two and a half years back so I never saw the promotional stuff wGen I was younger. Here are some things I noticed.

Romances: I feel that the Romances are a big part of Mass Effect considering their quality and the amount of options. I’m personally a Tali romancer but Ive liked every Romance I’ve done in game: Tali, Liara, Jack. Something I noticed is that they only showed the romances with Ashley in 1 and 3 and Miranda in 2. I especially feel with 2 and 3 that they could have done somebody else. It’s common knowledge among the community that the most popular Romances are neither. I just felt it would be a bit more impactful if they did one of the non human romances especially since from what I see those romances are a lot more fleshed out and interesting.

Quality and Length: ME1 was short and sweet, basic, by the books but still pretty good. It is really similar to the KOTOR trailers from how I saw it. ME2 clearly had some more promotional budget and felt similar to something from Call of DuTy with a bunch of cool bros (Shepard, Grunt, and Thane) kick ass. They definitely maxxed out the budget on the ME3 trailers and it really shows and I honestly love it reminds me of some of the Halo trailers especially the themes of Halo Reach and Halo Wars.

Other than some small criticisms I think the ME promotional team did pretty good.

How can I improve my chances of dating in College?

I'm 18M, I've been consistently feeling like I can't find anyone who would even remotely like a guy like me.

I mainly just want to know whether I have so much as a chance in college dating I have had shit luck in Highschool.

Me: 18M, Straight, Catholic (I explain more later), American, Went to a school with Grad class of 40, going to University of Montana to study Anthropology either become an Archaeologist or work at a US Embassy since they like Anthro degrees.

School: 3.95GPA, All Honors classes, two concurrent enrollment, massive History Nerd, going to U of Montana at the Honors College.

Autism: I have high functioning Autism, I can socialize for the most part, can be kind of annoying, have ADHD too.

Body: Healthy, 5ft 7 inches, Not fat not buff. Medium body type, cursed with being a super late bloomer having been mistaken for a freshman multiple times this year other than that say I’ll probably be average looking when I finally get my growth spurt, Consistent and good hygiene. I posted to r/rateme and r/amIuglybrutallyhonest a while back that you can see in my post history.

Exercise: I posted to r/rateme and r/amIuglyBrutallyHonest and felt a bit bad. I got a lot of low reviews mainly thanks to the fact that I am so young looking and it truly pisses me off. I have really strong legs thanks to Mountain Biking and Skiing but my arms aren’t all that strong. Im starting to lift weights at home because I just felt so terrible about myself.

Personality: Honesty, Believe in Kindness above all, respect, believe in strict loyalty, been described as having a “heart of gold” according to my homeroom teacher. ENTJ

Faith: Roman Catholic in process of conversion. Believe in respecting other religions and faiths(friend calls me an honorary Jew), Believe in Catholic Social teaching(can explain more if requested as some of it I disagree with), Celibate until marriage.

Hobbies: Again History, Mountain Biking, Video Games, Designing maps, modern Politics, and Traveling!, Cursed Humor.

College: Have little motivation to go to parties. I’m extroverted but it seems like too much for me. I’ll probably just hang out with the friends I meet and some social groups+academics.

My expectations in SO: Someone who is kind above all and will be completely honest with me, Someone who I can both enjoy company with and have some time to ourselves, I don’t much care about how they look just as long as I know they try and take good care of themselves, they have to be willing to stay celibate as well, I don’t care if they are a virgin or not as long as they have changed from past experiences.

I know I’m generalizing but I don’t know where I could find someone and how. Don’t know if it’s obvious but I’ve never had a GF and I’ve only asked out a few women who all rejected me, some kindly some unkindly. I asked them out respectfully and don’t hold it against them.

I’ve been suggested a Catholic GF, Fellow Autistic GF, Nerdy GF, Introvert. But I don’t know which one or any is best for me.

I’m sorry if I’m giving too much information but I just feel like people have difficulties understanding me when I talk with people about this.

Another thing is that I fear I might look too desperate if I do find someone or I say something wrong to push them away. I also apologize a lot and I might have a bit of a “weak spine” when it comes to standing up for myself.

Whenever I try and talk with my friends and my family about my fears they either just say they don’t have an answer. Or said answer is super vague and unhelpful.

I’ve been bullied over the years as a social outcast by many at my school aside from my good friends.

Im sorry if this is disliked or if I offended anyone I didnt mean to.

If you have read the whole thing Thank You so much!

Which historical figures do you think were secretly Templars/Order of Ancients that aren’t already confirmed?

I would love to possibly see some of these people in future games. It’s been a while since I’ve played some of the older games so I may have some which are confirmed.

I have a few ideas:

Oliver Cromwell: I’m biased and despise Cromwell as a Catholic with Irish heritage and in general being worse than Caesar and even more power hungry. I can easily see him as a Templar.

Andrew Jackson: Jackson could be more of a morally grey Templar similar to Haytham where you can see some of his points and is a genuine man of the people no matter what laws he breaks.

Peter the Great and Catherine the Great: Both massive reformers, both big expanders of the Russian Empire. Peter was a reformer foremost. Catherine was a tyrant both were centralizers. Textbook Templars.

Mustafa Kemal Ataturk: Hear me out on this one. Super secularization, curbing of everybody elses powers, eradication of centuries old monarchy. He and the all the Young Turks are easily Templars.

What are your Ideas???

Going to School to study Anthropology. Possibly a job in Archaeology.

18M. I’m going to the University of Montana studying Anthropology. I won’t have student debt after 4 years of undergrad.

I have high functioning Autism and can talk to people well.

I plan on Studying to get a PhD outside of the USA and work outside of the states. Perhaps in the UK or Spain.

I know that Archaeology is not like it is in the movies but History is my special interest and I do very well at it.

Im minoring in Latin as well.

Is there a rough idea as to if I will be successful with my current trajectory and plans. Will I have a decent life with the amount of pay in Europe.

I know I’m not giving too much info but this is still a lot for me and I also am curious if an Anthropology degree can also be used for possible careers with a bit more money at least compared to Archaeology(in the states Archaeology doesn’t pay too much.)

What do I do what should I change what should I change?

Does anybody else feel like they are on an island where nobody else is.

I know the title isn’t that good but this is how my high functioning Autistic ass feels. I’m 18M

Socially:

Too Conservative for Liberals, too liberal for Conservatives.

Too Religious for non religious people, not religious enough for religious people.

Too extroverted for introverts, too introverted for extroverts.

Too Autistic for lots of people, irritated by a lot of lower functioning autistic people

Too ugly to attract a woman who would like me beyond my looks, not tall enough funny enough nor studying a degree that will give me good money and too many female friends to make people want to help me “just ask out one of your female friends man” I prefer to keep my female friends as friends and don’t want to jeopardize that friendship, so dating feels like I’m dead in the water.

Too nerdy for the majority of people and too socially awkward to offset.

I feel like I’m dead in the water socially. I have friends who I trust very much but they are few. I don’t know if anybody can relate too any of these and frankly I’m scared of social life in college especially dating since I’ve never had a girlfriend before.

Just feels hopeless since there seems to always be something that people will dislike about me and that is a big thing for them.

How do I try and avoid looking at attractive women’s attractive areas.

17M High functioning Autistic Guy

Im firmly a personality over looks guy but my brain fights with that stance.

There are some very attractive women in my grade and sometimes I see at restaurants and other public places.

Never had a GF so don’t entirely know how much it affect people. I do my hardest to not stare and usually succeed but I still make quick glances at breasts and behinds.

Sometimes I’m obvious and I feel really guilty about it after and want to apologize but I can never bring myself to do it thanks to how awkward it would be.

Is there some way to try and avoid looking. I mainly just don’t wanna look like a creep because I’m not and I would feel terrible being labeled as such.

Thank You for reading the whole thing.
