When they tear down the mountain area to fix the Yeti, they should DEFINITELY rebuild it in a way that makes the Yeti easily serviceable if need be, right?

So that way, if it ever breaks again, we don’t have to wait ~20 years for it to get fixed again? They’d be able to easily cover it whenever the next refurbishment after that is?

Is this the most likely timeline for FTC tiebreakers on Survivor? When was the most likely point the two unknown changes happened?

Cook Islands through Gabon (implied; Todd said in his AMA that a 3-3-1 tie in China would have been decided by a live reunion challenge; Cook Islands, China, Micronesia, and Gabon all had Jeff say something like “if this last vote is for X, we have a tie” before the last vote was read, implying this was the tiebreaker in each case): Any tie, 2-way or 3-way, is broken by a tiebreaker challenge at the live reunion

Samoa and HvV: unknown, either the above or below rules (nobody won by 1 or 2 votes, and Jeff didn’t mention there being a tie if the last vote was for Sash, implying it was changed to the below either before or after the Samoa/HvV cycle)

Nicaragua through One World (end of S23/S24 cycle that Probst revealed the revote tiebreaker): 2-way ties that all 3 got votes in are broken by a revote on location (iirc there was a conspiracy theory that this happened on Nicaragua), 3-way tiebreaker unknown

Philippines (first season a X-X-0 tie was possible) through Caramoan (Mark Burnett mentioned revote tiebreaker in his Survivor Oz interview that took place during S25/S26 cycle): In a 2-way tie where everyone got votes, there is a revote where if the revote ties, third place decides the winner; in a 2-way tie where third place did not receive any votes, the third placer decides the winner

Blood vs. Water through Survivor 44: unknown, either the above or below rules (unknown which odd numbered season they changed it)

Survivor 45 (Probst mentioned it being like this in the On Fire for the 46 finale) onwards: Any 2-way tie is broken by third place deciding the winner

3-way tiebreaker is still unknown for Philippines onwards, but there hasn’t been one possible since. Only times it could have were seasons with eoe where it could end up a multiple of 3 (and would have on S38 had everyone stayed) as well as MvGX if Adam had been voted out (iirc he was going to be flown home to be with his mother in that case).

Where will the three Pac-12 schools most likely end up for women‘s rowing?

Via the Pac-12‘s announced sports sponsorships, it has been confirmed that there will be no sponsorship of women’s rowing in the conference.

This leaves Gonzaga, Oregon State, and Washington State with no conference to compete for this sport. They last played in WCC, but via WCC revealing their membership for that when adding UCSD as an affiliate, they aren’t going to be affiliates there.

One place I could see them possibly ending up is the SEC believe it or not. Reason is they are currently under the minimum of the six needed members to be eligible for an autobid. Besides location, there is another issue in that in their history, the SEC has never had affiliate members.

Could also see them end up in the Big Ten as affiliates there.

What is the most likely end case for them?

Should Disney put a Simpsons themed area in the abandoned Wonders of Life area once they are allowed to do so (and/or what could/should they do)?

Currently the rights are held by the other place, but as unlike Marvel, they expire, Disney likely isn’t going to renew them (especially since it’s possible Aerosmith got replaced in part bc they didn’t renew the rights to letting Disney keep them), meaning they’d have to close their Simpsons area and Disney would be allowed to have stuff.

Things I could possibly see them doing

The abandoned Wonders of Life pavilion area that has more or less sat abandoned since the planned play pavilion got scratched, could work for an attraction, with a possible quick service Krusty Burger stand, Lard Lad Stand, and Moe’s Tavern stand, each of which similar in size to the World Showcase stands they have during festivals.

It would also be near part of the Monorail track, so they could possibly also remove the black deltas from Monorail Red, add red “Monorail” text on the front car below the window to look kind of like the one on the show, as well as possibly having Dan Castellaneta record the intercom lines for it as Homer (like the “Please stand clear of the doors, por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas” as well as the “we’re on our way to [the Transportation and Ticket Center/Epcot] and all the other prerecorded announcements), and leave it on the Epcot line, as well as spray painting an “El Barto“ on the concrete of the track in that area.

Could also put it at DHS and replace the Indiana Jones stunt show with it, as well as possibly replace the Backlot Express with food places (like having a Krusty Burger, Lard Lad, and Moe’s Tavern there), as well as possibly replace Vacation Fun with a Simpsons themed short, if they would be willing to go that all in on it.

Either way they could also possibly have a Kwik-E-Mart souvenir shop, that could be designed like an actual convenience store (having aisles for stuff), possibly with the same layout too, possibly sell ICEEs skinned as Squishees, as well possibly having some of the convenience store food and drinks on the show (like Buzz Cola, Chippos, Krusty-O’s, etc.).

The attraction could possiblyhave a photo where the app gives you both the photo of you and a photo of you as a Simpsonized character. Could possibly also have a photo op of you sitting on the couch that does that too (giving two photos, one of you sitting on the couch in live action, the other of you sitting on the couch as a simpsonized cartoon character).

What is the worst replacement ride mistake made by Disney World?

They don’t make mistakes often, but sometimes it happens.

Two examples of mistakes:

Replacing Journey into Imagination with Journey into YOUR Imagination - Disney actually apologized for it and replaced it with the present day iteration, which brought back Figment, though not the Dreamfinder and was affected by the decision to truncate the track

Replacing Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure with Ducktales - As it would turn out, Ducktales got cancelled and Phineas and Ferb got revived (likely “for good” meaning any cancellation will be because the creators wish to retire) and they would have been better off just leaving it as is, plus I believe both the series and experience were still popular

Including F3 seasons, other than All-Stars, are there any other F2 combinations within the F3 where everyone has a winning combination (so-called “rock, paper, scissors” finals)?

In All-Stars, it has been said that out of the F3, everyone has a winning F2 combination.

Amber beats Rob

Rob beats Jenna

Jenna beats Amber

Does any other season (including ones with a F3 as well as international seasons) have this? If not, what is the closest example of this (like it being a vote away from happening or if 4th place made F3 instead of one of the three, it would have happened)?

My opinion

Borneo- no, Rich beats Kelly, Rudy beats both

AO- no, Tina beats both, Colby beats Keith

Africa- no, Ethan beats both, Lex beats Kim

Marquesas- no, Vecepia beats Neleh, Kathy beats both

Thailand- no, Brian beats Clay, Jan beats both

The Amazon- no, Jenna beats Matthew, Rob beats both

Pearl Islands- no, Sandra beats both, Fairplay beats Lill

All-Stars- yes, Amber beats Rob, Rob beats Jenna, Jenna beats Amber

Vanuatu- no, Chris beats both, Scout beats Twila

Palau- no, Tom beats both, Ian beats Katie

Guatemala- no, Danni beats both, Rafe beats Stephenie

Panama- no, Aras beats Danielle, Terry beats both

Fiji- no, Earl beats both, Cassandra beats Dreamz

Micronesia- no, Parvati beats Amanda, Cirie beats both

Tocantins- no, J.T. beats both, Stephen beats Erinn

Philippines- no, Denise beats both, Lisa (thankfully) beats Michael

Caramoan- no, Cochran beats both, Dawn beats Sherri

Cagayan- no, Tony beats both, Kass beats Woo

WA- no, Mike beats both, Carolyn beats Will

Cambodia- no, Jeremy beats both, Spencer beats Tasha

MvGX- no, Adam beats both, Hannah beats Ken

44- no, Yam Yam beats both, Carolyn beats Heidi

49- no, Savannah beats both, Sage beats Sophi

How Final Two could return as an Open Era twist

F5 immunity challenge and elimination cycle is run as normal, where winner receives all the information.

That F5 winner gets to decide their opponent in one F4 endurance duel. Other two are paired up for the other F4 duel.

Whoever lasts the longest overall of the four automatically makes the Final Two.

The two losers of each duel would compete in a firemaking challenge for elimination in fourth place.

A F3 vote is then held where the firemaking winner does not get to vote. Other two would vote, with the other duel winner only able to vote for the firemaking winner.

If both voted for the firemaking winner, they are out by a 2-0 vote. If the overall winner voted the other person, it would lead to a 1-1 tie and a firemaking challenge between the two others.

This essentially means the overall winner gets to decide if the other duel winner sits with them or has to make fire against the firemaking winner.

Some new era examples with endurance challenges:

S50 example: Jonathan picks Aubry. Aubry and Joe win. Aubry wins overall. Rizo loses fire to Jonathan. Aubry votes for Jonathan, eliminating Jonathan 2-0. Aubry beats Joe 8-4 at worst (Chrissy, Coach, Jonathan, and Stephenie all voting Joe).

S48 example: Kamilla picks Kyle. Joe and Kyle win. Kyle wins overall. Kamilla loses fire to Eva. Kyle votes for Joe, leading to 1-1 tie. Joe loses fire to Eva. Kyle beats Eva 5-4 at worst (Cedrek, Joe, Mary, and Star all voting Eva).

S44 example: Carson picks Yam Yam. Carson and Heidi win. Heidi wins overall. Yam Yam loses fire to Carolyn. Heidi votes for Carson, leading to 1-1 tie. Carson loses fire to Carolyn. Carolyn beats Heidi 5-4 at worst (Brandon, Danny, Jaime, and Kane all voting Heidi).

S42 example: Mike picks Romeo. Jonathan and Romeo win. Romeo wins overall. Maryanne loses fire to Mike. Romeo votes for Mike, eliminating him 2-0. Romeo beats Jonathan 5-4 at worst (Hai, Mike, Omar, and Rocksroy all voting Jonathan).

Does what happened in Kaoh Rong add uncertainty to who would have actually won in all alternative final two scenarios if the person voted out in third made FTC?

If Kaoh Rong had a Final Two instead of the juror removal, it seems that the most likely outcome was that Michele would have won final immunity and voted out Aubry, taking Tai and winning in a close 5-4 vote at worst (Tai getting votes from Aubry, Joe, Nick, and Neal).

In this case, much like Cirie, people would say that if the schedule was never hosed up to where they had to do a Final Two (in Cirie’s case, James cutting his finger; in Aubry’s case, Caleb almost dying for spices), Aubry would have won the game. People would have also said this about Tony if he was actually voted out bc of Lindsey quitting (which possibly would have made her the most hated quitter instead of Hannah).

However, as we saw, Aubry would have actually LOST the game to Michele in a Final Two, though if at least two players would vote Aubry over Tai in addition to Joe, Nick, and Neal, she would win there.

However, I feel the fact people would have said that “she would have won” against Michele if voted out in 3rd suggests that who would have won if the 3rd placer in F2 seasons made FTC isn’t as conclusive. For example, it is possible Kass may have actually beaten Woo, especially if the jury would have remembered the fact Woo stole food, water, and drugs behind the scenes, rather than lose in the perceived 8-1 blowout (those hand raising at the finale have been confirmed as staged; most notable being the Lill/Fairplay one). In addition, Jenna in All-Stars could also have possibly actually lost to Rob/Amber, rather than winning 5-2 (Rupert and the other half voting Rob/Amber), apparently they argued over this on the DVD commentary.

Is it normal for CFB27 to take this long to become available digitally on Amazon for Xbox/PlayStation?

Recently got about $100 worth of Amazon gift cards and I was hoping to use them to buy CFB27 for my Xbox Series S that I recently got for $100 at a yard sale (they already had one and won another in some sort of contest as part of a grand prize bundle that had game codes, controllers, a game pass code, and a store gift card).

However, they have yet to release digital codes for the game on Xbox on Amazon, with PlayStation not having them either, with other retailers having them confirming that they exist. I checked and saw CFB26 does have them, so I am wondering if this is normal for Amazon and they should become available within a few weeks or if this is not normal and I should just buy the game directly on my Xbox.

Did Survivor steal the forced firemaking concept from Big Brother: Over the Top?

That season had a Final Three (due to the winner being a fan vote) and the way they did the last elimination is that the HOH picked someone to bring to the Final Three and the other two played a sudden death competition with the loser being evicted.

This aired in the Fall of 2016. The next season of Survivor to tape was Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers, which was the first to have the forced firemaking twist where the final immunity winner picks someone to take with them to the Final Three (unless the immunity winner puts themselves in fire against someone), with the other two competing in firemaking for the last spot, where the loser gets eliminated.

Is this just a coincidence or did Survivor actually steal the concept from them?
