It's okay to be a Zionist.
I know... But seriously. Check it out.
Mamdani has spoken.
Brad Lander literally identifies as a "liberal Zionist" who supports Israel's existence as a Jewish state, but has actively embraced the language of the pro-Palestinian movement. He has described Israel's conduct in Gaza as a "genocide" and pledged to oppose U.S. military aid to Israel while the conflict continues.
Mamdani has endorsed Brad Lander which means that the Israeli state, at the very least, has a right to exist!
Either that, or...
Mamdani is not actually a socialist, because everyone knows you cannot claim to be a socialist while shaking hands with imperialism! ^((Mossad plant?))
I don't know guys. I'm feeling kind of conflicted here, like maybe I need to move the goalposts or something now. Please help.
TN Young Republicans member Austin Lee.
Does the official statement from TNYR seem like they're aren't condemning these disgusting statements and just covering they're tracks, or is it just me? Is Pepperidge Farms the only one who remembers when the Young Republican chats from various states (NY, KS, etc) were leaking jokes about gas chambers and dropping the n-word. Seems YR has a racist and neo-Nazi problem that they aren't really addressing. (Tennessee Holler has been covering this.)
Edit: Mods, as for rule 7, I don't know how else to provide the context of this post. I have the images of the actual mailers and response. I could upload them individually, but hoping you'll make the exception since this is simpler and provides the same context.
Conservatives who believe there is wide scale voter fraud, can you provide some evidence for that?
I'm asking in good faith because I've searched and can't find anything, but I keep hearing that Dems cheat by taking advantage of illegal immigrants, mail-in ballots, etc. How did you determine that is actually happening?
TIA

Pentagon revises religious classification list after Utah lawmakers push for change
>According to the department, the revised list no longer places Christian denominations under a broad "Christian" category. Instead, denominations are listed individually, including Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As a former Mormon, I find it supremely funny they got rid of the category altogether in order to avoid admitting Mormons into the Christian club. They got to make their point, though.
What does this dialogue symbol mean (Jezhek's Armor quest)? [KCD2]
This is part of the Jezhek armor side quest. I don't recognize this symbol and can't find anything about it online. It kind of looks like three figures, but I can't really make it out. Any ideas?
Hey MAGA, do you not understand that having military assets in Europe is beneficial to the US and not just a free hand out or something we do out of the goodness of our hearts?
reddit.com'The people versus Ken Paxton': Talarico blasts GOP challenger Ken Paxton as nation's 'most corrupt politician'

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani announces $9B wealth tax plan to "Trump-proof" the city and insulate working-class families from federal SNAP cuts.
Ari: What do you plan to do with the money you raise from the flat 2% tax on the super wealthy and raising the corporate tax to 11.5%?
Mayor Mamdani: “…that would get you $9 billion…this is our revenue plan. This would MORE THAN pay for our economic agenda. It would actually allow us to start Trump-proofing our city, and what I mean by that is we’re seeing right now what the Trump agenda portends for New Yorkers. This is a man who ran a presidential campaign on the premise of cheaper groceries, that is now trying to cut SNAP benefits to make it even harder to afford those same groceries. We have to protect New Yorkers with the least from the attacks from the man with the most power in this country.”

Ah yes, let's advocate for third party voting in the general. These arguments are so tired. Voting third party in the general is a waste of your political power. At that point it really is about harm reduction. It is deeply irresponsible to advocate for people to throw their vote away like this.
v.redd.itLog cabin inspiration
These are some plans from a book on log cabin building, originally published in 1908 by Oliver Kemp, titled “Wilderness Homes: A Book of the Log Cabin”. I thought they’re all quite charming and might inspire some simple starter homes.
7 Days to Erase Representation
Anyone know who these two are? Is it a podcast or something I could support? It's Travis and Jonathan. Need more voices like this
Sam Harris - Hasan Piker Is the Left's Nick Fuentes
youtube.com1 year!
There were days when this felt impossible, but here we are, one year nicotine free.
I vaped for 10 years, starting in college. The longest streak I had ever gone on before was ~5 months. Last year, I quit cold turkey after getting the flu and experiencing the most painful cough of my life, which lasted for almost a month after the other symptoms went away. I knew I was doing real harm and decided then that I was done with this shit for good.
Some thoughts as I look back on the journey:
- The sooner you can shift your mindset, the better. You eventually go from someone who is quitting to someone who has quit/doesn’t use nicotine. I don’t know exactly when that happened for me and what causes the shift, but if you can fake it till you make it, it might help. Framing things like “I don’t vape” vs “I’m trying to quit” from day one.
- The first 3 days are the worst. Then the first week, followed by the first month. Those were huge hurdles and getting past them felt like the biggest accomplishment. I think the firsts are a big deal because you prove to yourself it’s possible. I think it took up less of my bandwidth after I stopped obsessing over each day, and getting past the first month was when I stopped checking my app every day for reassurance.
- The longer you are clean, the longer the stretches of time in between thinking about it will be. After a few months, I felt like it would only pop into my head once or twice a week. After 5 or 6 months, I really only thought about vaping whenever this sub popped up on my feed. Eventually you will move on.
- You can do this! It is possible, you just have to remember why you are quitting and learn to ignore the short term gratification that relapsing would provide. Having failed several attempts to quit, I’m well aware that any satisfaction that comes will be momentary and almost instantly replaced by regret. You do not have to give in to the temptation. You can actually overcome this addiction. It will take insane amounts of discipline, but eventually you will be rewarded with greater mental clarity and physical health. You will look back at the journey and be incredibly grateful your old self had the courage and strength to persevere.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their stories on this sub! Your experiences (success and failure) have helped me in ways you can’t imagine. I wish you all the best on your personal journeys :)
