How do we have so many online Youtube Ai experts and less innovation ?

I have seen couple of podcast where they call so called Ai experts and everyone says the same thing, Agi is coming, most white collars job are going to vanish and at the end join our course to upskill. I mean if Agi is anyways coming for most jobs what’s the point of paying thousands or even lakhs to join your course.

I see those experts talking about this and that will be automated but yet no one actually talks about how we can utilise Gen Ai and LLM to develop our products, work on our open source software, improve our manufacturing, create better solutions to our problems.

Also you’ll see no one talks about how economy should sustain if Ai wipes most jobs, If all companies replaces workers for digital assistants and robotics then exactly who is going to buy their products ? If Meta or google replaces jobs then again who is going to watch ads or the companies which advertises who is going to buy their products.

I think a lot of fear mongering is happening on Indian youtube space and so called big podcasters are purposely doing it for views and money.

Honestly I would like genuine interaction where they discuss hardware limitations we are currently facing with respect to growing compute demand, how are companies supposed to handle electricity and water demand needed for Ai data centers, Environmental impacts, How you can secure your systems in age of Ai, what are compliance framework needed for regulating and auditing Ai work, How spams and slops can be reduced and other topics

Why can’t you misuse opus 4.8 similar to Fable 5 or Mythos ?

So Fable 5 and Mythos are banned because of potential misuse and people bypassing guardrails. But one thing I’m not understanding is if someone is capable of bypassing fable 5 guardrails they may be competent enough to cause issues using just opus 4.8 also right ?

Heck some Organization’s can literally run open source models and customise it and create massive problems. I don’t think Mythos or fable is that good or better that government is threatened.

Do you Ai agent for your office work in restricted environment ?

I’m looking for open source Ai agent similar to OpenClaw or Hermes which I can use in my office laptop. Obviously there are a lot of office restrictions with respect to downloading software and using libraries like those.

Primarily I’m looking for something to integrate with Jira and Github so I can manage all my projects from one place and design several sub agents on those specific projects.

Anyone using any agents or other similar software in their restricted office environment ?

Anyone tried developing a video game ?

I know there are a lot of stuff goes into making video games like 3d assets and physics engine and etc. I was wondering has anyone tried using all open source tools and software and using publicly available assets or creating their own assets through vibe coding?

Is it possible or too much to ask, this could be as simple as small snake game and developing it further and as big as 2d or even 3d game

You guys don’t need expensive hardware for playing Video games

My brother and I used to play video games on integrated graphics 15 years ago, we started with most basic games like road rash, midtown madness, gta liberty city. Somehow we convinced our parents to get a gt610 and that was a treat for us. We started playing games like assassin creed, Far cry, skyrim but sadly due to power issue gpu was shorted.

After few years my older brother got a job and I finally convinced him to get a gtx 1050ti. That was the best graphic card we had. I was finally able to play Gta 5, played other assassin creed games like blackflag, Unity, played far cry 4,5 and even 6. We were still running old i5 2nd gen and older hardware with not good enough power supply so our motherboard shorted, somehow we got it repaired but we knew we had to change the hardware, we started buying new power supply, then cabinet and even ssd. Afterwards we managed to buy new motherboard, ryzen 2600 and 16gb ram.

Now the pc is still working properly, everything is good, can’t play much of newer games though but still quite good for anything few years ago.

The point is you don’t need to get 2L computer for gaming, you can literally get a decent laptop and start playing, you don’t need 4k ultra high setting, 1080p medium or low is also fine. You can always start with older games which are often cheaper and not hardware intensive.

Future of Open source softwares in Age of Ai

Open source community and open source softwares are increasing in popularity, with all the coding assistants and Ai tools more and more people are working on software and pushing new features, what all this means for many large paid softwares or Saas

Small and medium businesses can now run their own crm, erp systems instead of paying for some enterprise SaaS, Obviously as scale increases you might need those enterprise software but until you are at smaller scale you won’t need to pay those cost, similar there must be 1000+ open source software which people can customise according to their requirement with help of Ai coding assistants.

What do people think about this ? Will we see rise in Companies managing their own softwares or is it too much to handle ?

I have seen many companies developing their own Ai agents and many SaaS has formed recently to provide agents or to improve communication between them or to store better context among them.

I want to understand if you have deployed real Ai agents into production workflows and how well they are performing and have they reduced human man hours. Examples can be as simple basic data entry from scanned images into erp or crm system or complex as reviewing 100s of documents and creating proposals

I’m genuinely interested how people have developed their agents, which problems they are solving, what are the issues they are facing and how much cost is associated and also how are they planning to deal with rising token based cost?

Thanks in advance

Anthropic is already limiting people based on token usage l. They are even restricting people with 200$ plan with token limits and windows. For enterprise pricing they are shifting towards usage based models.

Not sure how OpenAi and Google going to do but in long term it is definitely not sustainable for them to give out unlimited tokens for a fixed priced models. Newer models are more capable but also more expensive.

Anyone who is running their own coding agents or Ai based SaaS startups, how are you planning to deal with this? Would more focus go towards smaller open source models ? Can we create a single function models for a single functionality but can be self hosted ?

My company is slowly introducing limits on token usage and probably going to charge to our department based on usage and application using llm.

Is your company providing unlimited access to claude code or other tools or there are limits ?
