It’s going to be almost 2 years since I’m in Waukegan and everyday I come to find some interesting place or some weekly events happening nearby, Today I was searching and came to know there is pumpkin festival nearby. I like to know how you find what is happening nearby or what clubs or activities are out there.
I would love to try more and more things and like to connect with like minded people.
I randomly came across this series on Hotstar and started watching because didn’t had anything good to watch and I found the name interesting. I am on episode 3 and I’m amazed how good this series is till now.
I have barely seen such series in India. I’m amazed by the detail, the raw action scenes and also the story itself.
Code review has definitely become a bottleneck on shipping. We are able to get our tickets done much faster but testing and reviewing code is still slow and takes time for reviewer to check all the changes, Some changes can literally span across several dozens of files and many lines of code.
I want to understand what is difference between dedicated code review tools like coderabbit vs using claude code to review your PR. Many cases claude code has idea about your changes and codebase so it can review better. Coderabbit will eventually use some external models to review code which can increase data privacy risks
Edit - I won’t ask Claude to review the pr in same sessions, It is always going to be new session, Also it won’t necessarily be my own pr but someone else’s PR where it will look for things which are breaking So I can manually check those precise edits. Also maybe use separate model like sonnet to review.
This is going to be a rant - I’m in my late 20s working towards Financial independence so I don’t have to worry about Layoffs and Ai etc stuff, I try to be price conscious and also keep balance to enjoy life. I have a set plan in my mind to have investments of this amount and then not have to worry for basic expenses and have more power to take risks or just chill around.
Now I see posts on this sub or other subs where someone is like I have 3 paid properties worth 5 cr generating monthly 2 lakh rent and have 10 cr worth of investments, is this enough to retire ? Or something like I have n number of cr in my mutual funds I don’t know what to do with it . I mean seriously dude, You have so much money yet you don’t know what to do or how to live your life ?
Most annoying part being everyone always comes from lower middle class background yet have money to get private college education and even has finance backing to go abroad and accumulate huge chunks of wealth, This kind of struggle reminds me of varun dhawan’s interview where he says his family was middle class meanwhile his father being highly successful and having huge amount of assets.

So I have bose quietcomfort and whenever it’s connected to my iPhone and I’m listening to music and I get a call there is always mic issues, I have to literally switch off the headphones or change output source for call, Same issue has happened multiple times with both whatsapp and normal call.
Anyone knows the solution for this ?
Unrelated note - Can you turn off ambient mode in this headphone, Basically turn off every anc or ambient mode and just listen music, Sometimes while listening music small noises can cause a lot of disturbances
I cancelled my subscription a month ago and now I got a mail for Playstation that I can get PS plus extra or premium for 20% off for annual subscription. IS this a good deal or should I wait more for bigger sale ?

I’m on newer claude code version with opus 5 and I think it’s performance has degraded and there is constant api connection issues too. Anyone else having same problems ?
Since last few months I’m not seeing the cast button on YouTube ios app. I can goto any video and cast it but when I have a video running through my Tv app I don’t have any way to connect to TV without closing the existing video.
Just today I think there is new update which seems to have broken casting completely and it just shows new window for casting and no recommendation and also it loses connection with my ios app frequently.
Fyi I am a premium user
I have Google Ai pro plan and I was working with Gemini 3.6 flash and 3.1 pro models. The starter project was decent but As soon as I wanted to make changes and add more relevant tests or changes it broke completely, I had very hard time navigating few of the issue that I had to dive deep into code and fix it.
I asked same things with claude 4.6 opus through anti gravity and it fixed issues fast but it’s limit is reached in one or two prompts.
I’m now shifting to Opencode with big pickles because it is free and I can see performance is better. I’m not sure what is catch here though looks too good to be true.
What’s everyone opinion on Gemini and antigravity. Ps I have claude code for work and its performance even with 4.8 is miles ahead than other options
PC hardware like Ram, cpu and gpu are very expensive in India. It is more expensive than countries like Usa and other developed country. People in our country aren’t able to build proper desktop setup because of this limitations. Hardware sellers literally sell 5-7 years old gpu at mrp.
Even laptop market is a huge mess. Most laptop available in India are very cheap quality and have issues in 1-2 year. Also it is comparatively more expensive. The government should work on reducing all the taxes and import duty on pc hardware so it will be cheaper and more accessible to general public.
Imagine if people have access to decent quality cpu and gpu and can build a powerful desktop systems to run local ai models and build applications on top of it. Cheaper hardware would also help a lot of small and medium scale companies in building their own setup and running local models for their business and have more automations rather than relying on cloud for each and everything.
I was watching a podcast of a CA discussing Tax benefits and one thing strike me was that there is upto 1 lakh exemption for meal vouchers. It’s basically 200 rs a day for 22 working days. So around 8800 a month.
Now when I dig deeper it seems it only includes meal vouchers which can used for buying pre made food or from swiggy zomato. Your usual groceries are not considered tax free.
I’m trying to understand why this exemption is there in first place ? This doesn’t cover essentials and encourage people to spend on restaurants and take outs which are definitely not healthy? Is there any particular lobby behind this exemption ?
Am i missing something and overthinking it ?
I have seen many project and product managers becoming Ai project managers or product managers, I am also seeing same trends with senior leadership positions where head of Ai are people from management background rather than tech.
I have seen on videos that this emulator has become very good recently which makes me wonder why we even need it. Literally all games are pretty much on pc anyways or coming very soon. Also the hardware requirement would be crazy that majority would be better off with native versions
Perplexity computer launched and I have zero idea what exactly it does ? Is it similar to lovable and emergent for creating quick web application or is it an Ai agent which works in background. I’m not too sure what people are using it for or building with it.
Also it requires perplexity max subscription for just using it so I don’t want to spend money unless I understand what exactly it is

I have been checking out many projects people have been posting in this sub and rest and one thing I immediately notice is all their website look very similar, I think at one point you can't even distinguish between different product's website.
Not sure whether everyone uses some template or it's just what every model create

So I must have come across Atleast 10+ companies which are working on creating a memory layer for Ai agents, There maybe 100s more also, All of them are tackling same problem and their solution also sounds kind of same and then there are many open source libraries also coming which also provides the same thing.
Similarly I have come across many companies providing way to code review , create graph of your codebase for better token management , have context across multiple agents and so on.
Is there any usp for these companies that will make their clients pay for them instead of using open source solutions ?
