Do non-binary people use terms like straight/lesbian/gay?

Same as title. Since the terms usually are interpreted as attraction towards opposite/same gender, do non-binary people use these terms? Do they use it based on their agab?

For eg, should an amab person, who identifies as non-binary, and is attracted to women, be called straight or lesbian? Will they come under the umbrella term sapphic?

I think there should be more terms so that we don't exclude people. If there are any terms that cater to envy, I'd love to know!

(No hate to anyone! I'm just a confused soul)

Honestly, will there be job opportunities in this field in another 5 years?

I really want to pursue psychology, but am always overwhelmed that there are no job opportunities 😭

The sector is growing now, but what about in 5-8 years? Will I get jobs then? Won't AI take our jobs?

Someone please give me a realistic idea

Should I try cold approaching??

I just can't seem to find my person. I'm probably not going to meet anyone organically so online is my only option💔

But then I don't know how to find like-minded people (women specifically) online. No one texts me, and I don't text anyone.

Should I try sliding into anyone's dms? Based on their comments (if I feel we might click). Will it be too inappropriate? I'm ofc not a creep but many women might not like it?

Should I jump straight into someone's dms with my dating application and hope they won't mind it?

Are billionaires trying to reduce our population?

My professor claimed that billionaires of different countries come together on a certain day, at a certain place, and discuss their plans to 'take over the world'. Their latest plan was to reduce the world's population to half a billion by 2030, therefore called Agenda 2030.

He made other claims, like Covid being a planned attack, or microwaves of phones being similar to water (I think that's what he said).

My question is, how far is this true? Is there really some organisation at work trying to reduce our population?

I personally don't think so, but after the case of 'certain' files, I can't say.

Just had a few questions...

(No hate to anyone! This post is in good faith)

I am not a vegan, but I personally have a lot of respect for vegans (as compared to vegetarian people). I think it's a really cool lifestyle, though I will never be able to follow it. Though there's something bugging me.

Will you, as a vegan, eat insects? Or any dish made from insects? What about beatles or other 'smaller' animals?

What about microorganisms? Any type of bacteria etc. Like yeast. We technically consume them everyday.

I personally don't feel bad for bacteria/microbes that I might consume. Similarly i don't feel bad if I were to eat a tasty dish of insects. So why would I (a non-vegan) feel bad more eating animals? That's just how I feel, but I would like to know what vegans feel about it. Does your empathy go to only creatures of a certain size?

Anyways have a great day!

AITA if I broke up with my bf over intimacy issues?

I met a wonderful person few weeks back. We clicked together fast and began dating.

Now, he was picture perfect in every sense. He had a stable income, was very good looking, compassionate and very straight forward with what he wanted.

We vibed well, talked a lot, and became very close. However the only problem was his libido. He has a high libido, I don't. He respects my boundaries alot, but almost every conversation just turns sexual. I also feel bad to say no to him again and again.

So I broke up with him. I couldn't keep going. I couldn't force myself to do something I didn't want to. But It felt bad. I felt as if I had missed a chance to actually build something with someone.

Now I'm wondering if I did the right thing. What are your thoughts?

18f (online/India) Looking for something long lasting...

Hi there, you can call me Yeeva:)

I'm just your average nerdy brown girl. I like animes, comics, books. I'm happy to read or watch anything that you recommend. I also cook sometimes (not very good though). Yes, and I'm a great listener, I love to listen to interesting people.

Due to school and stuff, I might be busy at sometimes, but fret not, I'll always manage to atleast send a good morning text. Consistency really matters to me.

I'm looking for a relationship that'll last long. Ldr is fine for me, if we're both able to put in max efforts🤗

(And please, no ghosting)

How do I explain to my parents that I get painful cramps?

As title, my parents don't believe I get painful cramps. They think it's because of I'm picky with food (too much fast food), or use too much phone.

My father, he doesn't say much. But my mother totally doesn't believe me. She thinks I'm faking it (she doesn't get much cramps). When I tell her that some people get serious cramps, she says that I never used to get before and that I'm lying to stay at home. She also forces me to go to school even when I'm in pain.

How do I tell her I get painful cramps now (which I didn't used to get before) ? Should I just ignore her and do whatever I want? Did anyone go through anything similar?

Should I date a guy?

I have almost exclusively only dated women. But the dating pool for lesbian/bi women is really small. So I was thinking if I should go for guys my age.

But I've never dated a guy before, and I don't know how to even treat guys 😑

How can I go about?

Besides, do guys even like bi women? Will I be able to find someone?

Edit: no point in dms. I'm not looking to find a partner on reddit.
