This will sound like a stupid question but i see claims that with Rin, the difference between E0 and E1 Archer is merely 3 percent or so. Is that true ? Is it worth to get E1 for Archer if i am gonna get Rin ? I don't have Saber so i have no need for Gil but if Archer's E1 is not valuable perhaps i might as well get it just for collection so i wanted to ask
So i was gonna go for E1 Archer due to Gil not being good without Saber to say the least but i hear claims that E1 Archer is merely a 3 percent improvement over E0 with Rin. Is that true ? Yesterday i made a post about how Nao's logic of revival game can save one person being wrong since it only saves 100 million but she gave Miura 200 million, but i don't think my point was understood so i am gonna try again.
There are TWO possibilities that exists for the loser of the revival game. Either
1: Liar game takes the 100 million from the loser and distribute it among the winners and THAT IS IT, they do not also ask back the 100 million they lent from the loser like normal rounds, they only distribute it and count it as getting it back. In this case the loser's debt would remain UNCHANGED even if they lose as long as they kept their 100 million, losing would not put them into another 100 million debt
2: Or they do not count distributing the loser's 100 million as getting back the money from them and then still ask the 100 million back from the loser like they do in normal rounds after distributing the 100 million to winners. Putting the loser to another 100 million debt like the line mentioned in the first image
EACH possibility have contradictions
For the FIRST possibility while it being true means Nao's plan CAN work and one person can be saved entirely, there is a DIRECT mention of losing would mean they would be in ANOTHER 100 million plus debt by characters (shown in the first image) as they are thinking of buying votes from Nao. If the first possibility is the case this MAKES NO SENSE since the loser would be in NO EXTRA DEBT as long as they retain their 100 million even if they lose. This line directly implies Liar game also do ask the money they lent back beyond distributing the loser's 100 million and that makes more sense anyway for them to do on top of the fact that if first possibility really is true it makes NO SENSE for EVERY single person in that game to give ALL their money to Nao. Since if the loser does not go into extra debt as long as they retained their money this means that the moment they spent more than 12.5 million they are now in GREATER debt then they would be if they lose. I acknowledge the possibility that they might be desperate because if they lose and get out of the game then they would have no way of earning back their debt but i still find it hard to believe that 8 entire person were still all willing ACTUALLY go into a 100 million MORE debt just to not lose when losing with their money intact would not have put them into greater debt.
First possibility makes little sense and is directly contradicted by a line.
For the SECOND possibility if Liar game do ask the money they lent back from the loser after distributing their 100 million to winners that would make Nao WRONG. If that is the case then Miura who will have his 100 million distributed, still have to pay 100 million back to Liar game and have a previous 100 million debt would require 300 million to be debt free which goes against what Nao gave him as Nao gave him 200 million. In this case the revival game can only pay up the value the loser has to pay to the liar game, it cannot absolve them of their previous debt, making Nao's speech about saving one person impossible.
Nao in the most recent episode claims that this round can be used to SAVE one person. IT CANNOT.
Let me explain 900 million is lent at the beginning to 9 players 100 million each correct ? When the round ends EVERYONE still needs to pay back their 100 million lent correct ? But the loser loses their 100 million which gets distributed to the winners. I do NOT understand how that saves anyone.
All 8 winning players still needs to pay 800 million so they are not in further debt. That is 800 million gone, 100 million (the money taken from the loser) is left. And the loser gets a FURTHER 100 million debt because even though they lost their 100 million they still need to pay back the 100 million they took. So even if the ENTIRE 100 million taken from the loser is paid back to them it ONLY covers the value of THAT ROUND. The loser drops out of liar game with ALL of their previous round debt intact. So how is this saving them ? If they were fine with their debt they would not have came to a revival game. Nao gave the Mohawk guy 200 million (proving Liar game asks the money for that round back even from the loser) but the 100 million of that value is NOT free. Nao's logic is wrong
Don't get me wrong i LOVE the ATLA final it has great fights and great execution of what it does. BUT i still feel like what happened does not make much logical sense and was written to be a final rather than how people living in that world would normally make their choices especially considering the info they have to be missing. Let me explain
Gaang planned that Aang is fighting Ozai
Katara and Zuko fighting Azula
Sokka, Suki and Toph fighting the other flying war balloon thingies
BUT there are multiple things wrong with this plan. First of all Gaang should have NO KNOWLEDGE of Azula going crazy (Zuko even remarked that he can't explain but she is slipping after seeing her so they truly did not have any idea) and firing everybody so how exactly does Katara and Zuko expect to fight Azula in a 2v1 ? As far as they know Azula should be protected by Dai li AND fire nation guards. It makes no sense for only them two to go fighting Azula, it was only decided that way because in our world the writers obviously know Azula will be alone so Katara and Zuko do not have to bring anyone else but from their perspective they should not be making that decision since Azula should logically be protected by guards.
Secondly Aang was missing during the talk with the White Lotus. Yes i KNOW that they have the utmost trust in Aang and believe Avatar who is destined to fight the fire lord have to appear and fight etc etc but they still DON'T know where he is and when he can be back. Aang could have been dead, or captured or knocked out or trapped in the spirit world or somehow too far away to make it back in time..... again i know they all believe in Aang but i still think it is NOT a risk they can take to assume Aang has to show up in time and just send Sokka, Suki and Toph to the area so if Aang somehow fails to show up Ozai straight up WINS no contest.
Thirdly even with Toph's metal bending i think it is crazy to expect that 3 people which NONE of them can fly can take down all of Ozai's fleet. If one ship blows up with them in it and they cannot jump into another they are just DEAD. Yes they ended up doing it but i still feel it is a huge gamble to expect only them is enough.
I recognize liberating Ba sing se is good and all but i still feel like it makes NO SENSE to do it during the comet when there are BIGGER threats like Ozai burning down everything to deal with. They can have the newly crowned Zuko to order Fire nation to withdrew from there after Zuko ascends or if they believe they would not listen Zuko's order, they can go and liberate it shortly after taking down Ozai, why are they trying to liberate it DURING when the enemy is at their strongest anyway ? Unlike Ozai burning down everything Ba sing se has no clear deadline as far as i know so doing it when the enemy has the advantage makes no sense to me, yes White lotus ended up making short work of them but it realisticly should still be harder than ANY another day due to only 2 of their members being buffed compared to the enemy they are facing. In my opinion the logical step should have been for White lotus to split and help each of the Gaang in their fights and then reuinite and go to Ba sing se later. At the very least Bumi, maybe more, can come with Zuko and Katara to counter potential Dai li agents so Katara and Zuko can take down Azula together, the rest can go with Sokka, Toph and Sukki to help against the fleet and if Aang fails to show up Iroh and Jeong Jeong etc can fight Ozai in his stead and even if Aang shows up someone can assist him in the fight while the rest takes down the fleet so Aang has no way of losing.
But they did not go this route because it does NOT work as a show final since it would trivialize the fights so even though the Gaang has limited info and should not be going to these fights with so less man power they still did so to have the final fights have stakes
Bro went from wanting to off himself and barely keeping himself sane with Kafka's spirit wispher to literally father (not even just daddy, actual dad) material. What do you think about this ? I personally adore it
So i am running a triple dot team with E0S1 Hysilens, Kafka and Black Swan (both do not have their signature nor an eidolon). I am not empty to increase the performance of my dot team so i might go for E1 Hysilens in the future assuming that is the strongest single improvement (if it is not please correct me)
But currently i have a choice between getting E1 Kafka or E1 Sparkle from the selector. I initially thought of getting E1 Kafka to improve my dot team but i am not sure how much of an increase it is especially compared to E1 Sparkle and i have heard that having S1 Hyilens cause diminishing returns with Kafka E1 thus lowing its value. Is that true ? And if yes do you think getting E1 Kafka is worth it ?
To me one of the most hilarious piece of lore is that before becoming Fleur, Cartwheel has literally stole sips of wine and crashed a ceremony (probably drunk from the wine too) and after that whole ordeal she was chosen to be their Blessed Maiden. I know she, by creation, was always meant for that role but it must be such a crazy thing for the order to come to terms with this, some random small peasant girl pulls up, steals wine for a ceremony, disturbs a holy ceremony, and then becomes the holy figure herself. Just incredible
It is not a secret that Izumi's mother has been a non confirmed mystery for years. Most people obviously assumes it is Mai (though there are also some who thinks it is Jin from the Earth kingdom) but nothing has ever confirmed it. For all we know it could even be someone we don't even know.
In a similar manner Toph's two love interests that she had Lin and Suyin with are also very mysterious, we know Lin's father is named Kanto but we never saw him or heard much about him and Suyin's father is not even named for that matter.
And lastly there is Sukki. Sokka was dead during LoK's start which can also be a mystery on its own too but i think it is reasonable that Sokka might have simply had a natural death so i am excluding that for now. But what is actually left unresolved and unconfirmed is what happened to his relationship with Suki and what happened to Suki. Did they get married ? Did they have any children ? Or did they break up for some reason ? Is Suki alive during Lok or is she also dead ?
Do you think we will get answers for ANY of these or do you think we will never learn and why do you think we still don't have answers
So i recently read Dreaming freedom. The male lead is just crazy but i still liked him, he was enjoyable to see and i found myself rooting for him despite his craziness.
Is there more series like this that you can recommend where one of the leads that will assumingly win in the end is a red flag but in an enjoyable way ? The crazy one doesn't have to be the male lead only, the female lead can be the crazy one or BOTH can be crazy as well if that exists but they should be, in your opinion, enjoyable and possible to root for rather than being a villain to be defeated in the end or not be so hate able that it would make you want to throw up if they do end up winning.
I know i am probably not saying some hot take or anything and there are probably a lot of people sharing this opinion but i REALLY hope that the next avatar show won't completely screw Korra over. It is an established fact at this point that every avatar basically inherits a problem from the previous one's lifetime to solve but even with just her show Korra had already things she could left to Pavi to solve, the most basic and popular being the restoration of the past lives and while it is arguable some also think the opening of the spirit world is also a problem that needs to be changed etc etc
Korra was obviously NOT a perfect avatar, basically no avatar is and that was fine. Korra had her problems, her shortcomings, and yet she also saved the world/nations and brought back balance plenty of time as well. She always did her best to be a possitive influence in the world. And yet even with that she already gets plenty of hate, some valid, some not so valid, and there are not a short amount of people who considered her a straight up terrible avatar already.
And now we are seeing a possibility where on top of everything she could be responsible for a WORLD ENDING EVENT that left nations in near ruin. If they make her actually responsible for that i just feel like regardless of the good she did she would just end up confirmed as a terrible avatar and i feel like that is just disrespectful to her legacy and basically justifying all the hate Korra gets. So i sincerely hope so whatever has left the world in pieces was not due to Korra and she did her best to save the world but could only do so much but the world blames her for it. Heck even not being able to SAVE the entire world is already something she will surely gonna be something people will blame her for.
Not to mention it would be a BEAUTIFUL parallel between Korra and Kuruk for Korra to have a mistaken bad legacy. Kuruk has saved the world from dark spirits but he has kept it a secret and the world knew him as a failure due to him not being able to attend the wordly matters due to it, so the next water avatar Korra saving the world (even if she could not save all of it) and yet the world blaming her for it would just make a beautiful parallel between the last two Water Avatars
When Seven havens arrive i will try my best to keep an open mind and even if Korra ends up responsible i will try to judge the show fairly instead of openly hating on it for one thing but i still really hope that they don't go that route and while as i said i won't hate on it just for that i would certainly lose a great deal of respect, there should be better ways to write a show than to screwing the last protagonist over
So basically after the Remielle DAN reveal the initial assumptions of who is who which was Vike being the purple girl, mercenary leader being Dan/Pink girl and Dan being the big dude was seemingly proven wrong so the Wiki changed who is Dan and who is mercenary leader and left Vike (at the time thought to be Purple girl) as it was.
Then it was brought to attention by people that multiple languages including Spanish, French and Portuguese apparently gender revealed these character and according to all 3, Dan and Mercenary leader are female and Vike is male which then meant that Vike would be the guy while Purple girl would be mercenary leader. Then some wiki editing battle happened over who will be written as who as some people did not want to take non CN languages as proof just yet and leave it as Vike being purple girl and mercenary leader being the guy (even though as far as i know there is no proof to support this at all) so in the end without solid proof for either side both character pages were decided to be left ambiguous until proof is obtained which at the time made sense to me.
BUT mere days later it was brought to attention that the big dude literally has VIKE written on his clothes (you can see it at image 3). Like at this point it should be pretty clear who is who but the wiki pages remain unchanged for some reason. What is gonna happen if the next patch that will come days later do not give us a confirmation over who is who ? Will their pages last like this for potentially years ? It made sense to keep them ambiguous while we only had the translated languages as proof but a name written on him should be more than enough proof and the pages should be updated to show that Vike is the guy and mercenary leader is the purple girl
I want to point out that there is NO voice actor shared between Remiele and Elysia/Cyrene. Basically ALL expies share CN and JP vas or at the very least JP vas. Remielle on the other hand shares nothing. Her new design is, in my opinion VERY SADLY, looks like it certainly is inspired by Elysia which i really dislike since her black outfit was prettier and had its own identity rather than them ripping of the same character again but i think it mostly ends on an inspiration level like how Hyacine's design is very Barbara coded but i wouldn't say Hyacine is a Barbara expy at all. I think if ZZZ devs were intending for Remielle to be a full on Elysia expy they would certainly cast the same VAs but even JP did not do that
I can be proven wrong but i sincerely hope so. ZZZ in my opinion does not need to rip off characters, Miyabi, Yi xuan and Ye shunguang were all successes sales wise without having to throw away their individuality to copy some irrelevant character so i hope we can continue this way.
Ohh and one note, Sunbringer does NOT share any VA with Kiana either nor she looks like her at all in my opinion
