This is for coquette/dollette alt fashion. I noticed that fast fashion companies are mimicking the 2 piece milkmaid top trend from the 2000s by making these false milkmaid panel one-piece tops. If I wanted to make my own top with 2 separate items (to avoid fast fashion), I can't find undershirts like this that are both shirred and have that specific ribbon lacing detail. I can't find tops with a neckline low enough to show off the design of the undershirt either. I've tried thrifting very old tops to get the look and no luck.

We all see it. 2 lightling bolts next to 2 white hearts makes no sense in this context. There is literally no casual way to use the lightning bolt emoji in normal texts if its not about weather. Bolt+Bolt+white HH spells out exactly what you think and everyone who pointed it out is not insane for it. I know people will talk about the technicalities of the lightning bolt emoji but that's not the point of the post, it would be missing the forest for the trees.

That way, those who defend the company the most will attatch their identities/ideologies to them and end up becoming fiercely loyal to the brand. Like with what happened with American Eagle, who alienated their black and progressive leaning consumer base in order to get a massive loyal cult of dogwhistle apologists.

I'm not even pressed about this stunt in particular, what annoys me is how companies insist on manufacturing moral disgust every fucking week and shoving it down your throat. You can't go a day online, or if you touch grass, buy tissues irl, without being exposed to intentionally manufactured culture wars by major companies. The only way to win is to desensitize yourself to this behavior.

Whether you give a fuck, or see this as a nothing burger, it is being discussed online and making its way to major news channels as intended. You will hear about this and form an opinion of if and how this matters according to your morals. This discourse is designed by companies to either desensitize us, demoralize us, or distract us from something worse, but the distraction is such an elephant in the room that you can't in good faith not address it.

It's not about the show itself or the creator, in fact I'm very happy that the creator got an adaptation this well animated. I appreciate the work that goes into drawing manga and I'm not a hater in that regard. It's just that every dude i've seen that's a fan of this is insufferable. I'm all for inappropriate immature humor, like with PAWSG it has a time and place, but for that show the fanbase is suprisingly not as filled with gooners/goonettes. The bots they use for scripting doesn't even tell you history, more like an overview that overly romanticizes or glazes the subject matter like it's a fantasy worldbuilding intro. It's become just like this for every group of people whose history isn't very well known by the general public (ex: not Rome and China), but I've started seeing this format for Roman history as well.

Sub Saharan African history in particular has been so utterly destroyed and unpreserved from colonization that there's not much general information for these videos to go off of without cracking open an obscure academic research paper, so every video just copies the same watered down script from another AI slop video with slightly different, equally nauseating AI graphics. It's a content ouroborus.

As a side note, YouTube content nowadays is 90% ai slop videos with hundreds of bots that steal, copy, and paste the exact same video over and over. It's ruined the entire edutainment side of the website, the one I watched the most as a kid. Look up "the rarest human" or "do wild animals know if humans are trying to help them" and you'll see what i mean.

First of all I hate the LADS otome fandom, mostly both the western and Chinese side, but I hate everything I've learned about the racism/homophobia in the Chinese otome scene. Tldr, there's this sci fi otome called LADS that introduced a 6th ML, and the entire fandom was so fed up with how he looks that they bullied the studio into scrapping him and all future live interests. They even told the govt that he promotes domestic violence and reported a reference to unit 731 that ended up being purely coincidental.

On one hand they were using him as a scapegoat for their frustrations of the game, but imo I dont get the hate for him specifically. I thought he was cute, his design is so pretty it's uncanny, which is partly why I hate how the CN fans insulted western women's tastes and said we fetishize gay bears. So catty for no reason.
