Getting closer. Fired up for the first time.
Still have a few things to knock out. Alignment, front glass, sway bars, and then a bunch of road miles to make sure everything is sorted.
1972 Dodge Demon. Some friends of ours found it sitting out in Arizona, bought it, and had it shipped back to Maryland. It had been off the road for 16 years
My mom passed away 10 years ago, and out of the blue her ex husband reached out to me on Facebook and sent me these old photos.
I've never seen her LeMans like this before. Ever since I was a kid, I've only known it as "the car blown apart", sitting in a million pieces hanging from the garage rafters. It was really special to finally see the car the way my mom remembered it.
The photos are from the '80s. The green ones were taken after it was restored. It's still that same shade of green today.
She always talked about this car and the memories of driving it. The pictures look exactly how she described it. I'm so happy I got to see a glimpse of those memories.

Took a picture of this old Ford Pickup at a local show.
I really love the look. Guessing it's a 1934 by the license plate? Very neat.
Drove back home from Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, roughly 230 miles.
Apple Maps put me on DE Route 1 and tossed me directly in to a 45 minute standstill during a heatwave.
Most nervous nail biting, butt puckering, gauge watching stand still I've ever been in.
Engine temp peaked at 214. Our knockoff ebay 22 inch 3 row radiator somehow persisted.
1971 Duster 318 / 904.
I had my mom grab her camera and take a picture of the computer screen. Then I had it printed out. This picture is 15+ years old.
I wanted to make sure I had proof for when I told my friends at elementary school.
The group a few of us started up together has reached 8,000 members.
Turns out, there's a whole ton of A-Bodies out there in the world getting used daily.
