Which is best/worst for the Wu movement? Which projects from each of the entities are great and which are slop??

Nostalgia is a mf. We all remember the first time we heard M-E-T-H-O-D Maaan. Or Tiiiiger Styyyle...or the SUUUUUUUUU! battle cry.

Fast forward to a few decades later. It's a shame to see your childhood idols so desperate for crumbs that they are forced to align themselves with an indie industry that is sometimes more corrupt than the majors they all used to complain about.

Snakes and weasels have infiltrated the Clan. For the love of money they puppeteer half-baked, half-hashed music projects buried in guest features that don't make sense. A revolutionary group that once had the ferocity of a vengeful soldier are going out with a fizzle, not a bang.

You can tell by listening to some of the projects that whoever is at the helm of the ship doesn't come from, relate to, or care about the culture. It seems like the execs are just throwing shit at a wall to see what sticks. It's more HYPE than HEAT.

The strong, pro-black message is gone. Any skateboarder with an inheritance can put out an album with the 9 Generals. What happened to quality control? What happened to "first of all, who's your A&R?" SMH. Read between the lines. Read the album credits. Do your research. We are grown now. Stop being a mindless zombie dick jockey and realize the Clan is compromised!
