Volume 10's villain lineup for Vacuo is looking questionable (at best) if I'm being real
What's the opinion on glacier water? Would you drink it or nah?

Guys... is it finally Emboar's time to BREAK THE MOLD?
(If you ignore every other viable fire type mega in the game then he kinda has a good matchup going on here)
How Gamefreak felt after making sure half of the Z-A megas are borderline useless bums with ass abilities when 90% of Gen 9 were min-maxed hyper optimised demons (suddenly balance is now an important factor)
This is mostly hyperbolic but I do feel like there was a slight shift in design philosophy in terms of distributing stats and abilities between SV to Z-A
Final prediction for the abilites of the six Megas which will (probably) be introduced in M-C
I think all of these Megas will be viable regardless considering how held back they were and the fact they're coming with Mega Salamence. It would be really weird for Mega Tatsu to keep storm drain or for Mega Goliopod to get some bs like tactional repositioning for example.
Signature ability for Mega Magearna that actually prioritises balance
Out of all the Z-A Megas left to be added to Champions, Magearna sticks out as the by far the most absurd. Best typing in the game, great bulk, decent speed tier, amazing coverage and 170 Special Attack. Its quite blatantly designed to be as disgustingly powerful as possible, so giving it an actual limitation would make Mega Magearna far more interesting than the "delete everything instantly" mon that it is currently.
Mega Magearna would have to consider set up and support a lot more, which wouldn't be that difficult considering its great survivability. Fleur cannon particularily becomes a very high risk, high reward move to use as if it succesfully faints a target (which would be pretty easy) it effectively lowers SpA by 3 stages, which would be pretty rough to deal with. There's also a chance people might actually opt for physical Magearna considering its boosted attack stat, which would be pretty funny.
I tried making this ability thematically in line with Mega Magearna as the pokedex entry in Z-A states: "The emotions Magearna had begun to feel now hide away as it fells foe after foe", which is quite an easy allusion to make with an ability that lowers special attack overtime.
How WE will be sitting down to watch Volume 10 despite complaining about it 24/7
Creating the hypothetical final four signature abilities for some of the upcoming Megas in Champions:
Quick explanation on each ability:
Mastermind - Probably the most absurd ability here which gets realistically held back by the fact Mega Malamar gets oneshot by a single U-Turn. Intimidate users are punished by this as they would just intimidate themselves (lmao) and set up sweepers would be punished as they would just be helping the other side max out their stats. Also set up on the users side would be insane as if Mega Mar calm minds it would duplicate the boost to its partner. I imagine there would be a crazy amount of interactions from this single ability.
Auxiliaries - Essentially Parental bond but with 3 strikes instead of 2 strikes. I didn't want to just make this a strict upgrade to Parental bond so a passive evasion nerf would make it more stressful when getting targeted by lower-accuracy moves. I guess its somewhat thematic because more units = easier to target.
Mucus body - Allows Mega Eelektross to keep its niche as the only pokemon with no weaknesses while allowing it to use electric terrain as a trade from its loss of a full immunity. There's already 5 levitate Megas anyway so I don't think we need any more. Also its kinda thematic as mucus traps irritants like dust and keeps your body healthy.
Silver skin - The ability everyone secretly wants for Mega Scrafty (Wonder skin would be cool but its still getting washed by a single moonblast). Would give it a great niche in switching into strong fairy-type attackers like Mega Floette and Sylveon while leaving it with a great solid defensive profile of only having two weaknesses (fighting + flying).
"I'm going to shaft my new MC as soon as her story gets actually interesting and replace her with my old MC as the focal point so he can regress into a bum and repeat his previous character arc but worse" Genuinely what even was the thought process?
Part 2 hatepost number #9383826767
I've seen people say that "Himeno and Aki would've redeemed the final chapter if they were in it" or "Himeno is better than any Part 2 character" and ngl I really do not get this sentiment at all.
She served her purpose to show that anyone can die in CSM and she had a cool contract (I guess) but I didn't really feel sad when she died, it was just like 'damn that's crazy' and then I moved on (kinda like how Denji felt in the manga). She only really had 15 chapters of screentime and I didn't really find her that likeable in that time given, which maybe was the point but nontheless I find it surprising that she still has a fairly notable fanbase for only lasting only that small margin of the whole series.
