this might be a dumb question but if i was to make a doll based on a character from like an anime, movie, or game, could i face copyright strikes? even if i didnt sell the doll.

i’m just wondering if anyone from the uk has had luck finding a doll in a charity shop, bc the toy sections in ones near me are all baby toys and teddies (or non existent). i’m just wondering if they actually can be found in some shops since we don’t have the same kinda thrift stores i see americans shopping in online

so i’ve just finished year 13 and on instagram im seeing everyone from my school going abroad what feels like every week and doing all of these other interesting things and ive been feeling kinda jealous. i dont have any money to do anything and ive been looking for a job but there’s nothing where i live (like deadass nothing they closed 80% of the shops to build flats and the 20% aren’t hiring) and i cant rlly afford to take a train to work somewhere else and i dont drive or have family to rely on. i cant help but feel envious of everyone my age being able to go out and enjoy being a teenager while im just stuck at home. is anyone else in a similar situation?

so i’m 18 and planning to move out of my house and cut contact with my dad (only parent i talk too, i got estranged from my mother a few years ago, i also don’t have any other family to talk too) but he pays for my phone plan and when i leave im going to need to pay for it myself (obviously) but idk how to switch it over so that im paying for it without letting on what im planning to do.

for a bit of extra context i have an iphone and it’s under a family icloud plan thing where my mother is in charge but my dad pays for it (at least im pretty sure he does, he doesn’t have an iphone so he’s not on the plan fyi). i’m not at all tech savvy so i have no idea what to do, i also don’t want to lose any of my like photos, phone number, contacts and stuff that’s on my phone already.

in the river skullector, the g3 winter line (sry i forgot the proper name) and valentine/spelldon 2 pack people where soooo disappointed with the ai use, and rightfully so, yet when river was released people rushed to buy her??? people want mattel to stop using ai yet still buy their products, do people not realize if they don’t actively show mattel that they don’t want ai products nothing will change?? the first step in doing that would be not buying anymore of mattel’s products.

Use Case: mainly for gaming (wuthering waves, arknights enfield and modded minecraft), but also as a normal laptop

Preferred Specs: i know nothing about what specs are good, i just need something that can run the games listed well and maybe a few others too if my budget allows for a laptop that can do that

Notes: i dont know anything abt what makes a laptop good or what price they are so if what i want to spend isn’t enough i’m open to recommendations of laptops to save up for. also im not opposed to buying second hand so it doesnt need to be a newly released laptop

i have plenty of space on my laptop, i’ve switched it to using the dedicated gpu, graphics settings of the games r set to the lowest possible, the game it the only thing running, i’ve closed everything (that it will let me close) on task manger using cpu and memory. i genuinely can’t figure out why games are running so badly, can anyone help

i wanna dress gyaru in the future (i don’t currently bc i don’t have money for new clothes) but i also want to be a surgeon, and obviously you can wear fake nails as a surgeon, even having nail glue residue on ur nails could risk making a hole in the gloves. so i was wondering if i could still be gyaru if i didn’t wear nails?

i’ve heard the theory that the elites are lizard people in disguise my whole life but i’ve never actually seen any like evidence for that claim. does anyone know where this theory came from or what caused ppl to think this?
