u can open a portal to the "gears of time" by using enough physical force on the air,like punching the air or kicking and then a circle will appear and inside this circle is couple of gears, u have to be physically strong to stop time as U will be halting the gears of time,ur fist/whatever body part you used to open this portal will be in that circle as time stopped, although everything is frozen in time

the only exception is you and these gears,the longer u physically stop these gears from moving the higher risk of like the gears being to strong for u to stop so ur body part will just rip off as the gears try to continue moving, and since this "portal" is wherever u punched that means u can't move too far away because then you'll let the gears of time continue moving,so if u wanna stab someone ur gonna have to be close him,stop time while having enough strength to keep the gears not moving and then u can stab him

and no u can't throw a wench inside this circle to halt the gears YOU have to physically stop the gears

TLDR:the longer u physically stop the gears from moving (putting ur foot inside or any other way) time stops

then we made some jokes about training his "wokeness"
