▲ 14 r/empathy

empathy isn't "fun" or "cool".

its absolutely exhausting and I cant stand when people say they are an empath as some sort of award winning, gold star trait about themselves. its esoterically painful to experience true empathy.

we weren't supposed to watch the tyranny of this world on our screens all day everyday. we aren't supposed to have this much access to pain. our bodies were not crafted to see the worlds loss at the hands of the elite, blasted on metal in our hands and in our eyes reach, all day everyday.

my body and soul hurts. feeling the vibrational pain of our ancestors, while feeling the pain of the entire civilizations being executed, is so painful I can't think anymore.

I am chronically ill already, and the empathy that I can never turn off, no matter how much coldness ive met in this world, makes my body physically sick because I can FEEL everyone. I am exhausted.

yes i have decernment, but that doesn't matter anymore.

I believe world peace exists. its just not this timeline.

hug your loved ones today.

TBI 12 we Workbook

I went thru a 12 week program and I have all the materials from it in PDF form. its took large to put here its 12 full weeks and it helped me tremendously. I want to share it to anyone who needs it.

I know its not the same as being in a class with a neuroscientist teaching it, but its made by one and my clinic let me have it after I graduated.

so if anyone wants it, I would love to dm you a quickshare link or doc with it. its 193 pages and she put her heart and soul into the information.

it has notes parts where you can navigate the material and daily issues, it has brain games(some are hard on purpose bc your brain heals as you learn new things) and a huge portion of it can be done with family bc it effects us deeply if our family doesn't understand what we're going thru so it helps teach them too.

Anyway. if any of you are interested, I can send you it. just message me or comment (:

also if anyone knows how i can share a pdf that big, like 105mb or so, so everyone can have it too, let me know lmao 😂

(Shambhala Music Festival) Missing Person: Kayla Boisvert

JULY 30TH 2026 UPDATE:

From Kayla’s family - “The RCMP and search and rescue are investigating the alleged security camera picture. It is in their hands now. Thank you for your concern but we ask you don’t share it as it is still unconfirmed.”

If you have a tip call it into the RCMP directly, please don’t share unconfirmed pics. We don’t want to interfere with the investigation, nor do we want to get distracted by unconfirmed leads. We also don’t know if someone is controlling her movement and the wrong comment or screenshot could tip them off. We still need to keep searching until she’s safe.

Salmo RCMP 250-357-2212

Case # 2026-3421

———————————————————

Please help us find our friend Kayla Boisvert, she has been missing since 7/27 @ 2:15am and might be along i5 in Washington. She was last confirmed to be seen at Shambhala Music Festival in Salmo, B.C., and an unconfirmed sighting was reported from a Starbucks in Mount Vernon this morning.

The report said she was spotted at the Starbucks drive through with a man and appeared very nervous. She was wearing a red hoodie (not what she left in) and the man she was with was wearing a black shirt with the word “Cookies” in blue font on it. Cookies is an apparel store in Belltown off 1st Ave and Blanchard, he might be based in this area.

Kayla has traveled to multiple festivals and is a paramedic. She’s never disappeared for days and will return to camp or the designated meeting spot. She checks in, and if her phone dies she finds a way to get it charged. She wouldn’t dip out with some strange man she doesn’t know. Shambhala security and the RCMP have not found her. This is not normal for her at all.

Please BOLO for Kayla, if anyone has any information or see’s her in Washington, please CALL 911 ☎️, then the RCMP or Shambhala’s SOS line since they are working together to locate her.

post-TBI jewelry endeavor❤️🍄

♡ proud traumatic brain injury art ♡

it took me an hour to write this post😂

I just wanted to share something that ive started since getting hit by a drunk driver at work(I drive for work) on New Years day.

I have a TBI and a spinal fracture so ive been pretty much bed bound since my accident(& doctors) and it's given me time to start making art again. I started drawing in the sketchbook app since I cant draw on paper right now with my nerve pain; the stylus is light to hold. so my sketchbook is full of digital art and mandalas 🥹

BUTTTT, I found out in May that working with copper wire doesnt hurt my hands because of the healing properties and frequency copper carries. ive always wanted to wire wrap and it has been a very healing and uplifting experience to learn the last few months.

the turquoise piece has my signature mushroom back frame design 🍄🍄

my jewelry is NOT for sale and this is NOT A promotional post, just sharing my progress ❤️

i hope its okay that I added one of my mandalas at the end, if not ill delete it im just happy to share. the mandalas have given me inspiration for my wire jewelry 🤗

thank you for stopping by ☕️✨️

im just in love with this art form.

in order from my first piece to my newest(some still unfinished)

i started wrapping on may 24th, with a traumatic brain injury 🥹. its given me a stress outlet since my car accident, bc im not able to do any physical activity. ive been home and doctors bound for almost 7 months now. im healing slowly and prepping for spine surgery so this has been a new art adventure that doesn't hurt my body. working with copper has given me a chance to use my hands without pain. copper and stone frequencies are making a huge difference in my life.

so I just wanted to post about it because im so thankful I got into this space.

ty guys for all the support so far. 💛 ill be setting up an account on artisans cooperative soon for my pieces 🥹✨️

pendant turned ring 🫠

this was originally a pendant i was trying to make. after multiple multiple unwraps and rewraps and getting annoyed at my inability to make a decision bc of my tbi, this was the final product 😂 5th piece ive made so far. not my favorite piece since I made so many mistakes but its still cute. i also reset it again after these pictures to get it to sit better on my finger lmao. roast me if you must.

2nd piece.

my thumbs hurt, but this is only my second piece, first piece doing any kind of bezel. took me about 4 hours roughly and i tried to make the back is clean as i could. 💛 copper with a bone pendant my mom has had for decades ✨️
