All the current IPL franchises have a trophy in franchise cricket!

Manchester Super Giants: The Hundred 2026

Dubai Capitals: ILT20 2025

Saint Lucia Kings: CPL 2024

I know that these tournaments are not comparable to IPL. But it's good to see every current franchise getting a taste of winning a trophy.

Now that their jinx is broken hoping to see these teams win their IPL trophies soon!

Why didn't the Traitors make Karan Singh Magic the 4th Traitor?

Shahneel is doing a great job no doubt but in the first episode I felt like making Karan Singh Magic join them would have been great for the traitors.

Firstly he was their biggest threat coz he straightaway spotted Krystle as the Traitor. So getting him on their side would have helped.

Secondly, the innocents would believe him due to his mind reading skills so he could easily influence them and make them suspect each other.

By killing him off in the first episode they wasted an opportunity of really strengthening themselves.

Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan is such an underrated Bollywood singer

Mitwa, Bin Tere, Tu Hi Mera, Dildara, Manchala, Allah Waariyan, Teri Jhuki Nazar are such gems.

I know he is mainly an independent artist with a lot of albums and is big in Pakistan. But I purely mean as a listener of Bollywood music he has such beautiful songs.

AI agents are like cricket team captains

I was trying to understand the MCP vs code execution debate and cricket actually made it click for me. Imagine a captain deciding who should bowl the 18th over. He could check each bowler’s stats one by one, compare them and then decide. Or he could ask an analyst to pull the stats for all the bowlers and put them together. The captain still makes the final decision, but he doesn’t have to do all the work himself.

That’s how I’m starting to understand code execution for AI agents. Instead of calling and processing each tool one by one, the AI can write code to handle several tool calls together. For simple tasks, calling a tool directly is probably easier. But when the task gets complicated, having code handle all those steps can make things much easier.

If RR refuses to trade out Jaiswal for Hardik what about these options:

Hardik for a combination of players who will fill a lot of gaps for MI and are not crucial starting XII players for RR but are too expensive to just be warming the bench.

**Hardik 🔄 Bishnoi + Curran + Deshpande + Hetmeyer**

Benefits to MI:

Bishnoi >>>> Raghu Sharma , Markande, even Ghazanfar/Santner (since they take up an overseas slot)

Deshpande >>> Chahar, Shardul ( plus he's a local boy for whom Wankhede will be suitable and he has improved his batting)

Hetmeyer >>>> Rutherford (at a negotiated price)

Curran >>>> Boult (plus batting option too)

Money wise though these 4 players cost almost 27 Cr but MI will easily be able to negotiate with the players for a lesser amount. Hardik himself is perfectly capable of demanding 20 - 25 Cr coz his current price of 16 Cr is quite less.

Do you think this is a good deal and what are the realistic chances of it actually happening?

Ofc a lot will depend on the captaincy situation with RR.

I finally understood option traders through a Cricket Analogy

I’m much more comfortable talking cricket than stocks, so I’ve been trying to understand option trading through cricket analogies.

I think I finally get why option traders have to get more than just the direction right.

Say India are 100/2 and I’m convinced they’ll reach 300, I could simply back India to get there. But an option is more like having a deadline attached to that prediction, say India has to reach 300 before the end of Day 2. India can still eventually get to 300, but if they take too long, my option can expire worthless.

That’s what I find interesting about options, you can be right about the direction and still lose because of when the move happens (and how big the move is). So I guess option traders are basically trying to predict the score, the margin and the deadline

The skipping rope guy was the best thing about the episode but everyone will talk about the mens girl and Michael Jackson

His performance was great, had great confidence, was spontaneous and in the end showed his emotional side too

If it is true that Rohit is getting phased out after this series, Jaiswal replaces him in the XI alright but who becomes the backup opener in the squad?

While most people are expecting it to be Ruturaj I feel his batting style will be looked at as too similar to Gill and Kohli so he will miss out.

Same logic could be applied for Sai Sudarshan too but since he's a left hander and from GT, Gill could pick him as the backup opener.

Devdutt Padikkal could have an outside chance but since he's more of a no. 3 batter now in all formats and doesn't open much anymore he might not be considered.

The easiest option would be to make Ishan Kishan the backup opener and backup keeper and backup middle order option and use the extra slot in the squad for an all-rounder.

Personally I would get in Sanju Samson as an aggressive opening option to play fearlessly like Rohit would have. More importantly he can be a keeping option to have in the squad if KL and Ishan continue to fumble with the gloves.

Whatever happens I hope they don't bring in Vaibhav or Abhishek into the Odi scheme of things. It's best if they remain in the T20I team

The curious case of GT underutilizing their talents

When you have a player of the immense potential and unique skillset of Gurnoor Brar you try every way to fit him. LSG too were spoilt for choice with Shami, Avesh, Mohsin, Mayank, Akash and spent a lot of money in getting some of them, yet they made sure Prince played every game due to his sheer potential. Similarly when GT was already rotating Prasidh Krishna, Arshad Khan and Ashok Sharma, not giving a single game to Gurnoor is baffling. Ironically even Kulwant Kejroliya got a game before him.

GT gave a lot of chances to Nishant Sandhu as a batter, even batting him as high as No. 3, when in reality he is a bowling allrounder who didn't even get to bowl this season.

When GT ran out of patience on SRK, instead of giving chances to Kumar Kushagra who's been piling up runs in domestic cricket they played Sindhu. Kushagra would have been the perfect solution for them at no. 4 and since he has a big appetite for runs he would have taken the burden of run scoring off from the top 3.

It's surprising that Alia is getting her first YRF movie only now

Most mainstream actors in Bollywood especially nepokids who debuted in the last 10-15 years have worked with yrf early in their career or at least at some point of time. It's really odd that an actress like Alia never got to work with them. Ironically at the lowest point of her career she's finally got a YRF movie that too with the least buzz
