Rating pantasy the little prince palace

Ok, by far my favorite set ever, dethroning the Disney castle set from Lego!! This set is almost the same height as the Disney castle!! It was very difficult to build because the pieces break away easily, took me about 4 days to finish

For building blocks in general I’d give this an 8/10, points off for not coming with a battery for the LED lights and for being difficult to build, also it’s impossible to move, you can’t seperate it for easy transferring so it’s currently stuck on my table forever LOL

In comparison to Lego I’d give it 12/10, this set was only $200 which is practically half the price of what it would be under Lego, there’s also more unique blocks than what Lego makes, the characters are also much cuter

Rating insoon Venice set

This set was the hardest insoon set I built, I almost rage quit trying to build the roof to the blue building and the clock for the clock tower, on the bright side there’s no stickers and it’s absolutely beautiful. Totally worth the $50 I paid for it, it’s LEGO quality and has amazing LED lights 6/10

I absolutely love the colors!! It’s Lego quality and comes with stickers, I was missing one piece luckily it wasn’t essential to the building but lmk if you can spot it LOL

Took a day to build and was easier to put together than the other sets from them, 9/10

Alright let’s start with positive, it’s the most visually cute set I have from insoon and was almost perfectly Lego quality, now for the negative, this set is labeled for 10+, that is NOT TRUE!! There are so many tiny pieces WITH stickers that are a pain in the butt, also there are colored bricks that look almost the same but slightly different, if you’re color blind this is not a good set

I’d give it a 7/10

Finally saved the money to buy my dream pantasy set (le petit Prince starry castle) but it was $271!!!! The original being $200, building block scalpers are insane for pricing a sold out set for almost $100 more

Will update when it arrives and I build it :]

Hii I’ve been buying Lego alternatives and here’s my ranking so far

  1. Insoon - by far the best for the prices they’re at, I can get 1500 piece sets for $40!! The pieces are the same size as Lego but are harder to stick together, the numbered bags come with even smaller individual numbered bags (ex: 2-1, 2-2, 2-3…..) for easier sorting, also has LED lights, the photos are my insoon set I built today (8/10)

  2. Yushniv - has LED lights and music but the pieces are very tiny, was difficult for me, as an adult to put together, also no numbered bags, you can get 3000 piece sets for $40 but one piece is about 1/3 an actual Lego, very very time consuming (5/10)

  3. Zhe gao - $25 for 1000 piece sets but also about 1/3 the size of Lego’s, pieces don’t stick very well (2/10)
