Need Historical NIFTY 50 OHLC Candle Data (2007–2026) for Backtesting & Research

Hi everyone,

I'm working on a backtesting and market research project and I'm looking for historical NIFTY 50 OHLC candle data covering the period from 2007 to 2026.

I'm mainly looking for any of these timeframes:

- 5-minute (preferred)

- 15-minute

- 30-minute

- 1-hour

CSV or Excel format would be perfect, but any commonly usable format is fine.

If anyone already has this data and is willing to share it, I'd really appreciate it.

If you don't have the data but know a reliable source, archive, or website where I can get it (free or paid), I'd be grateful for your suggestions as well.

The data will be used only for backtesting, market research, and educational purposes.

Thanks in advance for your help

Serious Looking for Research Partners: Data-Driven Backtesting of Vedic Astrology & Stock Market Patterns 📊

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for 2–5 serious research partners who are interested in exploring a possible relationship between the Stock Market and Vedic Astrology through historical market data, quantitative backtesting, and evidence-based analysis.

🚫 Important: This is NOT a paid group, signal service, course, or tips community.

The goal is simply to test the hypothesis—using historical data—that there may (or may not) be a statistically significant relationship or predictive pattern between Vedic Astrology and market behaviour.

Who am I looking for?

If you have a basic understanding of any of the following, you'd be a great fit:

- Stock Market: F&O, Options, Option Behaviour, Charts & Price Action.

- Data Analysis: Historical OHLC data, Backtesting, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis.

- Vedic Astrology (Optional): Even if you know nothing about astrology, that's perfectly fine. Our primary focus is data and objective research.

- AI Tools: Basic familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, or similar tools to improve research productivity.

- Requirements: A Demat account with any broker and Discord for voice/text collaboration.

- Languages: English and Hindi are both welcome for text and voice discussions.

📊 Research Areas

We'll explore topics such as:

- Historical OHLC Data Analysis & Backtesting.

- Moon's transit through each Nakshatra and its relationship with market behaviour.

- Kundli-based research involving Houses (Bhavas), Planets, and Divisional Charts (D9, D27, etc.).

- Planetary transit analysis (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury & Venus entering/exiting Nakshatras).

- Discovering historical similarities, repeating patterns, and statistically significant correlations from multiple perspectives.

Objectives

- Test the hypothesis without bias.

- Determine whether any statistically significant historical relationships actually exist.

- Validate findings through repeated testing.

- If the evidence supports it, explore a potential trading framework based on those findings.

Mindset

There is no place here for blind belief or blind rejection.

If the data shows there is no predictive edge, we'll accept that.

If the data reveals consistent, repeatable patterns, we'll validate them rigorously before drawing conclusions.

Collaboration

Please DM only if you're genuinely interested in long-term research.

I'm looking for research partners—not passive members.

The idea is to work together, openly share observations, datasets, backtests, ideas, and findings, challenge each other's assumptions, and build something meaningful through collaborative research.

If you know a friend, colleague, or anyone who might genuinely enjoy this type of data-driven research, feel free to invite them as well.

Final Note

I'm looking for collaborators, not followers.

Healthy debate, critical thinking, and questioning assumptions are encouraged. The objective isn't to prove astrology right or wrong—it's to let the evidence decide.

Let's let the data speak. 📉📈

Can Modern Drill Music Respectfully Express Devotion?

I wanted to try something different with devotional music, so I created a track called MAHAMAYA.yt

Instead of a traditional bhajan, I blended Desi Drill, Trap, and Cinematic production while keeping the focus on Mahamaya, Mahakali, Chandi, and Adi Shakti. The intention wasn't to modernize faith, but to express the same devotion through a different musical style.

I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts. Do you think devotional music can evolve with modern genres like Drill or Trap without losing its spiritual essence?

Constructive feedback is always welcome.

I composed a new Sanskrit "Shri Durga Ashtakam" devotional music.

Over the past few days, I worked on creating a new Shri Durga Ashtakam in Sanskrit and presented it as a cinematic devotional music experience.

My goal wasn't to make a commercial bhajan, but to create something that feels like sitting inside an ancient Devi temple during Brahma Muhurta combining traditional Sanskrit chanting, Indian classical influences, and modern cinematic orchestration while keeping the pronunciation as pure as possible.

I also spent a lot of time creating visuals inspired by Maa Durga to match the spiritual mood of the stotram.

I'm trying to create high quality Sanskrit devotional content that respects tradition while reaching a modern audience.

See description for lyrics and bhavarth

Note: The visuals and music in this project were created with the help of AI tools. The Sanskrit composition, creative direction, prompt design, editing, and overall presentation were carefully curated by me with deep respect for the spiritual tradition. My intention is to make Sanskrit devotional literature more accessible while preserving its sacred essence.

Jai Maa Durga.

I Created Chamunda Ashtakam Inspired by Kashmir Shaivism and Trika Philosophy

Over the past few days I worked on a devotional project centered around Maa Chamunda inspired by Kashmir Shaivism Trika philosophy, and traditional Shakti worship.

Instead of portraying Chamunda only as a fierce battle goddess I wanted to explore her as:

Chidanandamayi (Pure Consciousness and Bliss)

Vimarsha Shakti (Self-aware Divine Consciousness)

Spanda (The Cosmic Pulse of Existence)

Anugraha (Divine Grace)

Turiyatita (Beyond all states of experience)

For the visuals I designed a twin-faced living form of Maa Chamunda inspired by traditional Gujarati temple iconography. The project combines Sanskrit chanting, AI-assisted cinematic visuals, temple aesthetics, and philosophical symbolism from the Ashtakam.

Most of the visuals were created with AI assistance, while the concept, symbolism, script structure, and devotional direction were developed manually with little bit assistance of gpt.

I'd love to hear your thoughts:

Does this interpretation resonate with traditional Shakta understanding?

How do practitioners of Kashmir Shaivism view Chamunda in relation to Vimarsha and Spanda?

Any suggestions for improving the philosophical accuracy of the project?

Constructive feedback is very welcome.
