Is humanity aware of the cost of ignorance while conquering the earth?
Saw the recent tweet by Elon of Chongqing East station in China. This station is the largest in the world, about 1.2million sq m of land! The video highlighted how the absolutely massive mountain was flattened and it was truly a showcase of the humungous power of man conquering the environment that birthed us. And this got me thinking are we even aware of the consequences that our actions today may yield in future? That we or our children will def have to suffer from?
And I'm talking about China here because of their political and economical situation. A quick google search tells me that there have been known impacts in Lanzhou where they've destroyed the massive mountains to develop the flat lands which drew criticism from many environmental scientists..
To check some of the boxes for life-threatening impacts : Increased soil erosion, yes. Habitat loss, yes. Groundwater and drainage flow altered, yes.
Similar to this, there is Aravali hills in India which acts as a barrier for the Thar desert expansion and the govt or the court ordered to protect only the ranges with height more than 100m, which would leave a significant amount of the ranges at risk by illegal miners which has already destroyed most of the wildlife habitat. Topsoil and biodiversity loss and groundwater depletion counted.
I believe that such reckless massive large scale changes risk serious and deadly effects for the local ecosystem
This reminds me of the Save Soil movement where Sadhguru jokingly said that once the scientists met Gods and challenged them after taking some soil into their hands and doing few things with it, they made a newborn human! Then the Gods replied saying "first get your own soil!"
I agree that humanity is more empowered than ever with knowledge and technology. What's lacking is to tread gently! To be more conscious and act responsible and not give in to short term economic/political pressures. And environmental oversight matters the most to sustain life on our planet.

Time for illegal immigrants to go back.

Chola Copper Plates dating back to the 11th Century will be repatriated to India from the Netherlands : PM
This marks a cultural return after being held at Leiden University since the mid 19th century.
The plates record Rajendra Chola I formalizing an oral commitment by his father Rajaraja I, showcasing the Chola empire's administrative prowess, maritime strength, and rich South Indian heritage.
PM Modi participated in the handover ceremony with Dutch PM Rob Jetten, with images showing the bound copper plates displayed prominently and the leaders exchanging handshakes over the artifacts.
Throwback to 2005 when Thalapathy Vijay celebrated the rural spirit at Gramotsavam

The real revolution starts with self-sincerity
Well I happen to cross this quote "Authority is not the truth, truth is the only authority". And It makes me look deeper within myself about the false conclusions that I've made.
I see that most of the time who I am is of other's opinions. Why is it that this is the natural way we exist?
It would definitely make sense why one's life may meet a disaster, because the journey was being made on the illusion of others opinions, which also includes the fear-inducing religions, other tyrannical philosophies which again is based on the basic human qualities of fear and guilt isn't it?
So, to make a true big revolution is to become utmost sincere. Be sincere enough to look through the mess one is, and just that glance is enough. Because it makes us aware that unless the truth is the guiding light in one's life, one won't be able to call his or her life a success!

Do you agree that we'd be better off reproducing less for the sake of the planet's wellbeing?
I recently saw an old video where it was being said that our world may not be going to a good direction because of the continuous population pressure on the planet.
We are going to be about 9.7 billion or 10B in numbers till 2050. And the situation may not be so great.
Because of the heavy pressure on the land for food, conflict will rise like never before. Our soil is already dying, the insect and microorganisms species in the soil are literally going extinct in a rate we can't imagine.
He also highlighted that our life expectancy has significantly increased and therefore having death in a way in our hands, it now becomes important that we take birth also in our hands!
I myself am unmarried atm but would like to know from others what do you think?
I came across this yt short today where a person asked chatgpt to recite a couple of Quran verses. And It straight up said that it can't do that but yet it happily chose to recite from the Bible when asked! I feel that these tools are becoming the default search engine for most younger generations these days and the companies behind them are quietly deciding which parts of religious texts and history are "safe" to show.
This bias of the tools are shaping how millions of young people perceive reality. Therefore I feel that we carry a massive responsibility on our shoulders, especially those of us raising kids. Information today is incredibly easy to manipulate and with such AI filters, the knowledge online or the information can distort entire worldviews before someone even becomes an adult.
This is why I believe it's more important than ever that we teach children (and also remind ourselves) to live by their own consciousness and critical intelligence.
There is already so much information around and what matters today is that one remains more of a human today rather than logical case of a machine! We can go to primary sources whenever possible and question the lens through which any information is presented. And not outsource our thinking entirely to any religion or ideology.
I am a spiritual person and I feel that it's extremely important that one remains connected to their core today and light up from within, and also share that in the world because the world needs that! I mean this is like they say in Isha Institute in Tennessee that "A world full of love, light and laughter! It's time has come. Let's make it happen!"
Blind trusting either the religious institutions or even the Silicon Valley is not intelligent, if not stupid. Real wisdom comes from seeing things as they are, with open eyes and an independent mind.
Much love!
Have you ever had that feeling when listening to that GREAT music that you just can not stop playing on repeat? Two three more days, you're still playing on repeat. It's five days now and you just can not hate something more than that now.
Similarly, have you ever seen that beautiful scenery or simply you came across something that seem to strike the most melodious chords in your heart? Something that seems to remind you something about the deeper life within you.
These are the moments that are transcendental, and if you can just be in the right way, by right I mean if you can just not attach yourself too much to the 'object' of the gratification. And instead, you sit still and observe the phenomenon, stay with the beauty of the moment. Be with the core and use the ripples to travel the waves and not get lost!
I have observed and also read about this in Hinduism that everything here in the material world is transcendental. And if you can just be aware all the time, you would know that everything truly is the 'leela' of the divine (Play of the divine).
I believe the reason we start hating the same music that we once loved is prolly because we end up attaching significance to that superficial piece, rather than attending to that which it is directing us to, something deeper that demands our focus.
This kinda began my journey in climbing the ladder of the consciousness. Ended up participating in one of the most advanced meditation practices and I just couldn't be more grateful.
Today when I came across this feeling again, I thought I should write about it.

Gautama the buddha, with a large group of his disciples, who was continuously traveling, made a rule that during the monsoon season those two and a half months you can stay in the same place.
The rule for the sannyasis or the monks who are with him is that you should never stay in any place for more than two days. Normally, the monks were sheltered in many homes, so this rule he passed that more than two nights you don't stay in one house because it will be too much of a burden for the host.
They are housing 10 people, you don't stay there for a month. Two days, because you have walked a long distance and come bit of recovery time but during the monsoon season, he said up to two to two and a half months you can stay in one place, because walking through the jungles of that region during the monsoon season would be treacherous. And many would lose their lives, so this is a time like that they stayed in a large town and they were spread across in many homes.
The monks, one day, went out to get their alms from the people. Aanandā, who happened to be gautama's elder brother before his monkhood, went out. And there was a courtesan or a prostitute in the town. She gave him alms, and looked at him. A handsome young man - tall and straight. She said, "I hear that monks are looking for shelter in many homes. Why don't you come and stay in my house?"
Aanandā said, "I have no issue, but I must ask the Buddha as to where I should stay". Then she became really taunting. She said, "Oh you're going to ask your guru? Go and ask him, let's see what he says".
So Aanandā brought what he had collected for the day. Gautama was sitting. Aanandā came and placed it at his feet. He asked Gautama, "...like this this lady is inviting me, can I stay there?". Gautama said, "If she's inviting you with so much affection, you must go stay there."
The townspeople who were sitting there said, "what?! a monk is going to go and stay in a prostitutes home? This is it! This spiritual process has become corrupt". Gautama looked at them and said, "why are you so worried the lady is inviting him, let him stay. What is the problem?"
They all started getting up and started shouting. He said, "Wait, I am on this path because I see this is the most powerful way to live! Now you're telling me her ways are more powerful than my ways? If that is the truth, I will also go and join her! I'm here because I see this is the most precious and powerful way to exist! If you think her ways are better than mine, I should also go and join."
Because if you're a true seeker, that's how it should be. If you found something much higher, you go for that. Then people shouted. Many of them of course left. Then, Aanandā went and stayed with her. Monsoon time, because of rains it gets cold. The monk is wearing a thin habit, so she gave him a nice silk wrap.
He covered himself. She made nice cooking and gave it to him. He ate. Then, in the evening she danced for him, he sat watching very carefully that most attention. Things went on.
When the time was up, when the rain stopped, when it was time to move Aanandā came to Gautama, along with a female monk!
*The above story has been transcribed from a discourse of Sath-gūru*
It is alarming how easy it is to malign someone’s image online today. You don’t need solid evidence. You don’t even need credibility. All it takes is a group of people repeating the same narrative, amplifying each other, end up presenting speculation as fact. And once enough voices pile on, the perception starts feeling like truth.
What is worse is how quickly people who may not be familiar with the truth end up buying into it. For eg, I have heard from my sister that there is something not right with Isha, because of the false allegations coming up (she'd heard this from another friend)! Now, I explained her briefly about what was really going on as I've been associated with them for few years now, I haven't but Ig I should've also shared umpteen verified sources for clarifications....
But you know what? truth will always win!
Before believing anything online, how about people ask : Who is actually behind these posts? Are they even who they claim to be? Is there verified information, or just recycled accusations?
I actually felt compelled to write this after seeing how discussions around Sathgūru have been handled in certain spaces, where allegations keep circulating even when responses or clarifications exist! Whether you agree with him or not is not the point, but how easily narratives can be pushed and reshaped.
If we’re not careful, online spaces stop being about truth and can very much turn into echo chambers where repetition may replace evidence!
At the very least, we owe it to ourselves to think critically before believing or sharing something. Because on the internet, not everything that sounds convincing is real! and not everyone speaking confidently is trustworthy!
