UPDATE: EPC Light and Engine Light Came On After Getting Gas at Costco, Dealership Says the Gas is Bad Quality and Want to Charge Me to Drain the Car.

Not sure the best way to update on my first post, but I received a photo of the supposed fuel sample the dealership took from my 2024 Jetta, and it does show visible separation. However, they did not provide an actual report on the composition of the fuel itself. They then gave me an updated price to drain and refuel my car with "top tier gasoline," which would cost me upwards of $900.

I brought up the idea of a potential glitch that was brought up in the comments, and some further research shows that there is a common glitch tied to the TSB update, but it seems they don't think it is related to the software and appear to be dismissive of my software concern. So I'm currently stuck and unsure of what to do and would appreciate any further advice. I've attached a photo of the gas they supposedly took from my car.

PC (Acer Nitro 5) Stops Working When I Plug in USB Camera

Recently have been having some problems with a USB camera I've bought (this being the second one after the first one had the same issue). Whenever I plug in the USB camera, most Windows functions on my PC stop working (can't open settings, on board laptop camera stops working), and other online functions stop working as well (can't play videos, doesn't connect to Discord, some webpages fully stop responding). I've tried to contact Windows help with this problem but it remains unresolved. I'm not sure if it's a power issue, a software issue, or if a USB camera simply just doesn't work with this PC. It's strange because just a week and a half ago, my PC was working fine with my USB camera. I did buy a new monitor (LG 27" curved display) so I'm curious if that might be affecting things too. Any help is appreciated

PC Has Lost Most Functions, Not Sure How to Fix It

PC (Acer Nitro 5) all of a sudden the other day stops playing videos and stops running certain sites and programs (Discord, D&DBeyond, etc.). A few reboots and a router reset later, no change. Decided on a hard reset, and now my settings no longer open, the screen often goes black when I try to open any programs, and the same problems from before are persisting. I'm not sure if I should try a full nuke and pave or if I should take it to a repair shop, but I'm not a PC guy myself and am not really sure what to do. Not sure if I can even redownload Windows 11 onto this since it doesn't seem to be reading my flash drive either

Acer Nitro 5 Stopped Working, Not Sure What To Do

I'm not a PC user and really only use this PC for things like YouTube or Discord, so I'm very lost here. I've had this PC for a little more than a year and a half now and it has been working smoothly without issue. Saturday was business as usual, no issues and I left the PC on in case I wanted to use it later. Come Sunday evening, I hop in to game with friends and find my wired headphones aren't connected, I can't get videos to play, certain websites almost refuse to load, it was a completely different story compared to the day before.

I try to reset my router, thinking it's that. But sure enough the issues persist. I try a hard shut down, still the same result. Since this PC doesn't have anything important to me on it, I decide to try a hard reset of everything to try and build it back from the ground up. One hard reset later, now nothing is working. My taskbar has disappeared, I can't open any settings, it basically has turned into brick with a bit of life to it.

Following this, I look at some instructions on Google and see about opening it in safe mode and running a diagnostic test. In the process, it tells me my "device has run into a problem and couldn't be repaired." I try to reinstall Windows, remove any recent Windows updates, see if the device can repair anything, the result is still the same. So now, I have a PC that can't do the basic essentials I need it to do.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't mind if I need to nuke this thing to get it to its bare bones and rebuild the software. I just want to get it back in working order

PC Might Be Cooked, Need Help

I'm not a PC user but I've been using a gifted Acer Nitro V5 for a little more than a year and a half now without issue, mostly using it for D&D games. Tried to turn it on today but found it wouldn't connect to Discord, wouldn't play YouTube videos, and wouldn't open some webpages. Reset my router and still had the same issue (my MacBook works fine).

Ran a diagnostic test and it told me my device ran into a problem and couldn't be repaired. Decided to reset my PC while keeping my files and reinstalling Windows. Now my taskbar has disappeared, I'm unable to open settings, and whenever I try to reset my Windows Explorer or press the Windows key my screen goes black. Even tried resetting the graphics drivers and it was still stuck on a black screen.

Will take any advice I can get regarding this. It's a PC without any sensitive files on it, so I do not mind if I need to wipe it clean. I just want to get it in working order. Will try to answer any questions I can

Need Help Finding a Unit

Trying to find a decent portable AC unit for one of the bedrooms in my apartment. The bedroom itself isn't large (less than 200 sq ft) so I imagine a smaller unit will likely do the job effectively. Been scouring Amazon for units, but it's hard to tell which ones are legit and not scam products. So I'm trying to find answers from people who have experienced what I'm going through. I don't have a massive budget (about $250 maximum), but can be swayed if a product gets the job done. Any advice is appreciated

I’m sorry, but if I saw smiles like these in a dark movie theater I’d think I was going to die

Spilled Soda in my Ugg Slippers

Roommate's cat accidentally knocked my Coke over and a lot of them got in and on my ugg slippers. What would be the best way to clean them? I really like wearing these slippers and it would suck to need to toss them, but I've also read that machine washing them could potentially ruin them. What would be the best way to clean and hopefully salvage them?
