Progress 😊

Did couch to 5k two years ago. Ran on and off since then but never consistently or more than 5k. Struggled with mh and weight over the last year and a half. Decided just over a month ago to do the race for life 10k and started training for that. Been trying to run 3x per week and ensure I'm fuelling well. Did my first solo 10k the weekend before last and got through it without stopping to my surprise

Can't wait to do the 10k this weekend and am looking forward to going further and hopefully faster in the future!

Super thick overnight oats

40g oats, 5g chia seeds, 5g unflavoured pea protein powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Mixed with 80g soy yoghurt and 2 tsp water. With 80g frozen blueberries mixed in and smooth pb on the side

Sometimes I blend the oats and chia seeds first which creates more of a cookie dough like texture

Pretty, no. Delicious, yes

Need to work on my presentation but this was delicious regardless

Just under 1/2 cups of oats with 1 tsp cocoa powder and 1 tsp unflavoured pea protein powder, plus 3/4 cup water. Mixed and microwaved for one minute. Topped with slightly defrosted strawberries and crunchy biscuit spread

Been thinking about having these oats since yesterday. 1/2 cup porridge oats and 1 tsp pea protein mixed with 3/4 cup water, microwaved for 1 minute. Topped with frozen blueberries, soy yoghurt and crunchy biscuit spread
