Looking for an iOS app that separates photos, screenshots and downloads automatically

Hi! I’m desperately looking for an iOS app that can help me organize my camera roll.

The first thing I want is something that can separate actual photos I’ve taken with my phone from screenshots, downloaded images, saved pictures from the web, etc. It has always bothered me that iOS basically throws everything together into the same photo library.

On top of that, I’m a designer, so I save a ridiculous amount of reference images. I also have countless screenshots/videos of outfits I want to try, hairstyles I like, food, interiors, random visual inspiration, and so on. This has been piling up for years — my current camera roll goes back to 2023 — so manually sorting everything at this point feels almost impossible.

My dream would be an app where I could just tell it something like “clothes,” “food,” “design references,” etc., and it would recognize those images and automatically put them into albums/folders for me.

But the absolute priority would be automatically separating:

\- photos actually taken with my iPhone
\- screenshots
\- downloaded/saved images (ideally videos too)

Does an app like this exist? Especially one that can use image recognition/AI to automatically categorize an already huge photo library?

lesbian loneliness is hitting HARD

how do you guys actually cope with lesbian loneliness without becoming completely insane

i feel like my dating pool is approximately 14 women and 9 of them are either already dating each other, emotionally unavailable, live 300km away or have somehow already slept with one of my friends

i genuinely want a girlfriend / someone to date but the scarcity is starting to make me feel deranged. straight people can basically leave the house and encounter 50 potential romantic prospects by accident whereas i feel like i have to conduct a nationwide recruitment campaign just to find one lesbian i’m attracted to who is also attracted to me and vaguely normal

and before anyone says apps: yes i’m on them. it feels like scrolling through the same 30 women in different orders

how do you cope with this without either settling for someone you don’t really want or developing some doomed fixation on the first attractive lesbian who makes eye contact with you. does lesbian dating eventually get less bleak or is this simply the cross we bear

Looking for Authentic Books on Campanian/Italian Witchcraft

Hi everyone!

I’m a beginner witch, and I’ve recently become really interested in Italian folk magic and witchcraft, especially the traditions from Campania, since that’s where my family is originally from.

I’m looking for books from credible historical or folkloric sources that explore Campanian (or more broadly Southern Italian) witchcraft. My ideal find would be something almost grimoire-like, not just a historical overview, but a book that also documents traditional spells, charms, prayers, recipes, rituals, folk healing practices, and other magical customs that have actually been passed down through generations.

I’d really love something rooted in authentic folklore, historical records, or oral traditions, as my goal is to learn about and, where appropriate, respectfully practice the traditions of the region my ancestors came from.

If you have any recommendations, whether in English or Italian, I’d really appreciate them. Thank you!

Stagione invernale in Trentino Alto Adige: qualche consiglio?

Ciao a tutti!

Grazie!

My Loneliness Is Making Me Suicidal

I just turned 23, and to be honest I don't know if I'll ever be 24.

I have been experiencing suicidal thoughts every day. Much of that despair comes from an overwhelming sense of loneliness and from the growing conviction that romantic love, a part of life that seems ordinary and accessible to almost everyone around me, may simply never happen for me.

Being a lesbian has made this loneliness feel particularly inescapable. My dating pool is already small. It is difficult to meet women who are attracted to women, whom I am also attracted to, and who are emotionally available and genuinely looking for a relationship. Connections that meet even some of those conditions are so rare that every loss feels enormous. It does not feel as though I can simply recover, meet somebody else and try again. I often have no idea when, or whether, another real possibility will appear.

Almost all my friends are now in relationships. They take pictures together, go on dates, travel, meet each other’s friends and introduce someone as “my girlfriend.” These are completely ordinary experiences, yet from where I stand they have begun to feel like scenes from a life to which I do not have access.

I love my friends, but their relationships have also made me feel increasingly separate from them. Their lives are moving into a new stage, while mine seems to remain suspended. I am frequently surrounded by people who care about me and still feel profoundly alone, because friendship and family love cannot entirely answer the specific grief of never having been romantically loved or openly chosen.

Three times, I have become involved with women who did not truly choose me. Each time, I was kept hidden, compared with other women or made to feel insufficiently attractive, interesting or valuable. Each told me that she was not ready or capable of being in a relationship. Eventually, however, she either left me or betrayed me and entered an official relationship with somebody else.

What has wounded me most is not simply that these connections ended. It is watching women who supposedly could not commit suddenly become willing to do everything with somebody else that they had refused to do with me. They posted photographs, spoke proudly about their partners and publicly gave another woman the place in their lives that I had wanted but was never allowed to occupy.

After the first experience, I tried to understand what had happened. I went to therapy, read books about attachment, emotional dependency and unavailable partners, and tried seriously to develop boundaries and self-respect. The first time, I had abandoned myself in an attempt to preserve the connection. The second time, I recognised the pattern sooner but still allowed myself to remain in an undefined limbo after being love-bombed and then rejected.

The third time, I behaved differently. When she told me that she was going through a complicated period and did not know whether she could be a good partner, I believed her and ended things. I did what I had spent years learning to do. I protected myself and refused to accept ambiguity. Within weeks, she was publicly back together with her ex-girlfriend.

That experience destroyed something in me because it seemed to show that even changing my behaviour did not change the outcome. Whether I begged to be chosen or walked away with dignity, I still ended up alone while somebody else received the relationship I had been told was impossible.

I know that I am still young, that I am not physically unattractive and that I have friends and relatives who value me. But emotionally, none of those facts helps me. I am hidden, rejected and replaced, while the people around me are openly loved.

Sometimes I change my dating-app preferences to men almost as an experiment, and hundreds of matches appear immediately. I know that this does not represent genuine compatibility or love, but the contrast makes the scarcity of lesbian dating feel brutal. It reminds me that attention may be abundant in a world I do not belong to, while finding one woman who genuinely wants me feels nearly impossible.

I do not merely feel single. I feel excluded from my peers, from ordinary adulthood and from an entire language of intimacy that everyone else seems permitted to speak. I feel ashamed of how desperately I want something as simple as being introduced as someone’s girlfriend. I am grieving experiences I have never had, and I no longer know how to keep believing that they are waiting somewhere in my future.

The thought that I have never been romantically loved has gradually turned into the fear that I never will be. I don't wanna live like this. **God, if I’m meant to be alone, please take away my desire to be loved.**

I’m turning 23, I feel doomed to never be chosen, and I am suicidal

Three times, I have become involved with women who never truly chose me.

In each case, I was kept secret, compared to other women and made to feel inadequate. They said they were not ready for a relationship, but eventually left me or cheated and then became official with someone else. Suddenly, they were willing to post pictures, go on dates and publicly offer another woman everything they had refused me.

After seeing this happen repeatedly, it is becoming difficult not to interpret it as evidence that something is fundamentally wrong with me.

I have not remained passive. I have gone to therapy, read books such as Women Who Love Too Much and Attached, and worked seriously on attachment, boundaries, self-worth and my attraction to unavailable people.

The first time, I abandoned myself completely. I tolerated uncertainty, inconsistency and mistreatment because I was desperate to preserve the connection.

The second time happened just as I was beginning to recover. She love-bombed me and, within two weeks, told me she wanted a relationship. Then she changed her mind. I tried to leave, but she persuaded me to remain in an undefined situation where she retained emotional and romantic access to me without committing. I recognised the pattern sooner, but it still felt like being knocked down in exactly the same place.

The third time seemed different. There was no love-bombing, and things appeared to be progressing naturally. Then she told me she was going through a complicated period, did not know whether she could be a good partner and was unsure she was capable of a relationship.

This time, I ended it.

I did what I had supposedly learned to do: I believed her, protected myself and refused another ambiguous situation. Within weeks, however, she was back with her ex-girlfriend, posting pictures everywhere. Once again, someone who had told me she could not be a partner suddenly became perfectly capable of being one—with somebody else.

That public element is perhaps the most painful part. I am told the problem is timing or emotional unavailability, only to watch that unavailability disappear almost immediately for another woman.

Most of my friends seem to enter relationships naturally. Meanwhile, ordinary things—proper dates, photographs together, travelling, meeting friends, being introduced as someone’s girlfriend—have begun to feel like impossible fantasies.

I know rationally that I am not unattractive or unlovable. I have friends and family who care about me. But emotionally, I feel cursed, because I no longer know how else to understand the same experience happening repeatedly.

Being a lesbian intensifies the hopelessness. It is already difficult to meet women who are available, compatible and interested in commitment. When I change my dating-app preferences to men, I immediately receive hundreds of likes. I know this is not necessarily meaningful, but the contrast makes dating women feel even scarcer.

I am turning 23 in a few days. I know that is young, but the accumulation of these experiences has left me profoundly hopeless and isolated.

I have been experiencing suicidal thoughts every day. Sometimes the pain feels so unbearable that I fear this may be my last birthday. I am posting because I need help understanding this pattern and stopping myself from seeing it as proof that I will never be chosen.

Did I accidentally curse myself after making a hex jar with no experience?

Over a year ago, my ex cheated on me with another girl. I have mostly moved on now, but at the time it was probably the deepest betrayal and most acute emotional pain I had ever experienced.

I was desperate to feel better and tried almost everything: self-help books, meditation, spirituality, and anything else I could find. I have always been interested in religion, esotericism, astrology, and spiritual practices, but I have never considered myself a witch and had never actually practised witchcraft.

One day, while I was feeling particularly overwhelmed by anger and grief, my TikTok feed kept showing me videos about hexes and revenge spells. I impulsively decided to try one.

I took an apple, stabbed it with rusty nails and pieces of broken glass, added paprika and placed it inside a jar. I also wrote down the name and date of birth of the girl I was cheated on with and put that paper inside. I do not remember the exact instructions I followed, and I had no real understanding of what I was doing.

I then kept the jar hidden in my wardrobe for over a year, possibly closer to two years.

Eventually, I began experiencing a period of bad luck and generally negative feelings. I panicked and started wondering whether, through my ignorance or intention, I might somehow have directed the spell back at myself.

Because of that fear, I took the jar around 2/3km away from my home and smashed it there to dispose of it. Looking back, I realise that smashing a jar containing nails and broken glass outdoors was irresponsible, and I regret disposing of it that way.

As far as I know, the supposed hex did not “work” in the obvious sense. My ex and the other person are apparently still together and seem stronger than ever.

I would appreciate some grounded advice from more experienced practitioners:
Is there any realistic reason to believe I could have harmed or cursed myself?
Would you recommend doing some kind of cleansing, uncrossing, protection ritual, or simply letting the whole thing go?

I am not looking to harm either of them now. I mainly want to understand what I did, take responsibility for it, and close that chapter without continuing to frighten myself.

How do you organize hundreds of saved posts across Instagram and TT?

I use social media mainly to collect useful ideas and inspiration. I save hairstyles, outfits, restaurants, places to visit, design references for work, products, tutorials, and many other things.

The problem is that I now have far too many collections. Whenever I save a post, I have to scroll manually through a long list to find the correct folder. Since this takes too much time, I usually put everything into one large “inbox” collection.

That inbox has now become a black hole. It contains a lot of useful material, but I cannot easily find anything when I actually need it.

Has anyone developed a simple and sustainable system for this?

Saving everything and finding nothing: how do you organize social media inspiration?

I have realized that a large part of my personal knowledge system is currently trapped inside Instagram and TikTok.

I save content related to fashion, hairstyles, design, restaurants, travel, products, tutorials, creative ideas, and professional references. The saving process is fast, but retrieving anything later is extremely difficult.

I have created many collections, but finding the correct one every time requires manually scrolling through a long list.

Because of this friction, I usually put everything into a single inbox and tell myself I will organize it later. Naturally, I rarely do.

I am looking for a realistic PKM workflow for visual social media content.
I do not want to stop collecting inspiration. I want to turn it from passive hoarding into something searchable and usable.

How can I build a searchable personal archive for everything I save on Instagram and TikTok?

I use Instagram and TikTok mainly as personal visual archives. I save hairstyles, outfits, restaurants and places I want to visit, design references for work, products, tutorials, and all kinds of creative inspiration.

Over time, however, my collections have become impossible to manage. I have too many folders, and neither Instagram nor TikTok gives me a practical way to search for a collection while saving something.

Because scrolling through the entire list takes too long, I usually save everything into one giant “inbox” collection. The result is a huge, unstructured archive that contains useful material but is almost impossible to browse later.

I would like to create a proper searchable personal archive a quick capture system.

How would you approach this problem?

Starting a Nike retail internship soon — any advice?

Hi everyone! I’ve just been accepted for a retail internship at Nike and I’ll be starting on July 20th.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has worked at Nike, especially as an intern or sales assistant. What should I expect during the first few weeks? What does the training usually involve, and what are the most important things to learn quickly?

My main goal is to perform well and hopefully be offered a part-time position after the internship. What can I do to stand out in a positive way and increase my chances of being kept on?

I’m also curious about scheduling: are interns ever allowed to cover or pick up extra shifts, or are the hours usually fixed?

Any advice about the work environment, management, sales targets, customer service or things to avoid would be really helpful. Thank you! :)
