I’m a scientist working in academia and helping set up a biology lab. Has anyone used the Eppendorf Research 3 Neo? If so, how different is it compared to the Research Plus? For context, I’ve only used Research Plus, and I wear a size S glove, main appliance for TC/virology assays, ELISA, general molecular experiments. I spoke to the sales representative and it seemed the only “upgrades” were locking mechanisms and a 40% speed increase for changing volume dials. I’m a bit sceptical about the change and don’t think it’s a rational upgrade worth the cost. Just wanted to hear more opinions before I made the purchase. Thanks!
