Disappointed by S4

I recently drove a 2024 Audi S4 with the sport package because I was pretty sure on paper that’s what I wanted. After driving the car I was kind of unimpressed.

Pros:
-It was fast
-Extremely nice interior
-Looks beautiful

Cons:
-Turbo lag (even in sport felt like it was torque converter down shifting seconds after pressing the throttle)
-Steering feel was nonexistent, supposedly it tightens up when going faster but I didn’t really notice it. It would be nice if the steering feel was just consistently heavy
-exhaust sound left a lot to be desired
-almost too fast to have fun with on normal roads, I couldn’t wring the car out on twisty roads without getting in serious trouble.

For a sports sedan especially with the sport diff and suspension I thought it was going to be a lot more sporty but it just felt like a faster A4.

Not really sure what cars to check out now possibly the S3?

How to fix chronically tucked chin?

Due to being tall I’m always looking down/ having a tucked chin. Vey thing I read online says to do chin tucked for posture but how do I fix chronically tight deep neck flexors and allow my chin to come forward naturally?

2018 Toyota sienna 3.5L RMS or Transmission leak

I’m trying to figure out if this is a transmission or RMS leak. I took it to a shop and they said it was RMS but it definitely looks like transmission fluid to me

2017 transmission issue?

I’m having transmission issues with my 2017 sienna. I looked and found this online https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10162233-9999.pdf

I called Toyota corporate and gave them the vin and they said my car was impacted by this.

I went to my local dealer and told them about this and they said they never heard of this issue and can’t do anything. How am I supposed to go about getting this issue looked at?

Thanks

High mileage S4 question

I’m looking at buying a 2021 S4 with 71k miles. It’s a one owner and has all service done at a dealer and most recently had the water pump done.

It’s a pretty good deal and even with an extended warranty it’s a competitive price. So aside from the water pump and potential piston slap issues is there anything I should keep an eye out for on a higher mileage S4? Usually I wouldn’t consider a car with this many miles but the service history is good and has had a big issue addressed.

Any thoughts?

Edit: should add I didn’t see anything specifically about transmission service I can ask about that since that’s one thing I’m not comfortable doing myself

How to buy/quote fidelity extended warranty

I’m looking at buying a used car but before I do I want to make sure I can get a warranty for it. I was only able to get one quote from a third party online and it was ridiculous (10k for a 2023 S3, 50k mi).

Fidelity doesn’t have an actual link to get a quote on their website site so how am I supposed to shop around?

500Mbps throttled to 50Mbps?

Edit: rebooting everything fixed the issue

I am on a ethernet connection. I have had the same plan for a few years never had any issues with speed before. I used to get ~500 Mbps (in line with my plan) the past couple months I have been getting ~ 50Mbps. I have not changed any hardware or router settings.

Just wondering if this is a common issue before contacting Verizon directly

Thanks

Is this a reasonable plan?

I’m looking to buy a new car after my old one’s engine died. I’ve always been into cars and wanted to get a used Audi s4/5, m340i, or C43 amg.

I’m 36 and make 135k in a HCOL area, max out 401k and rent is 2.5k, and have about 20k in cash.

I have done all basic maintenance on my old car (oil changes, brakes etc)

I’m thinking of buying whatever $30-40k can get me in the above car with carmax then getting the extended warranty, driving the car until the warranty period is up and then selling.

Numb steering on 2022 models?

Hi so I’m thinking of getting an m340i. I test drove on the other day and the steering felt kind of numb (even in sport). I’m coming from a frs so maybe I’m a bit spoiled with driving feel.

But I was wondering if there’s any <500$ mods people can do to make this feel a bit more connected?

Rod knock - what to do now?

My 2015 brz’s engine started knocking at 110k miles. Wasn’t driving it hard, all of a sudden I heard a weird noise from the engine and I thought something like an under panel got loose and was flapping, but then realized it only happened when giving it throttle. I drove it a couple miles back home and only started it once to confirm the noise. No metal in oil yet but I’m pretty sure the engine is done.

I absolutely love this car but I don’t want to dump money into a 11 year old car (it’s got dents, some rust, paint issues). I have absolutely zero skills/interest in doing a LS swap or doing an oem engine swap myself. So my options would be get a shop or Subaru dealer to replace the engine or sell it as is. Just wondering what other people have done and recommend. Thanks!
