Do club Lounges always send out an email before the stay?

Platinum member here, in my last 2 stays at hotel w a club lounge, the JWM KL and Sheraton KL as well as my upcoming stay at Sheraton PJ KL, received an email from the club lounge about 2 days before my stay welcoming me and to ask if i was celebrating anything special and my expected arrival and departure times.

Not sure if this is the norm or the club team were making extra effort but it does feel good.

Always book the base room and get upgraded to a club room on the stay. Very worthy upgrade and is atleast 2-3 tiers above my base booking.

Was Vaali the most versatile and adaptable lyricist in tamil cinema who managed to wow listeners across decades?

Vaali wrote songs for movies in the 1960s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and even adapted to the listening style and trend of 2010s listeners.

It amazed me when I learnt that Vaali was the brain behind the lyrics of several of my fav songs from the 90s to the 2010s.

Be it Chikku Bukku rayile from gentleman in 1993, followed by another banger mukkabla from Kaadhalan in 1994, to writing the whole album of Indian in 1996.

Manmadhan, which was a hit among the youth, also had Vaali writing thathai thathai. Also the lyricist for the OG mother anthem Neeye Neeye from M Kumaran.

The 2nd half of the decade saw more smash hits like rangola from ghajini, ellapugazhum from ATM, new york nagaram, munbe vaa from SOK, adhiradi from Sivaji etc.

Perhaps what amazed me most was how he adapted to the 2010s trend. In 2010, Valee was 79, and how the man at that age adapted his writing style to suit the trend still amazes me.

Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai title track, from a movie based on a playboy. Nangai from Engeyum Kadhal, Kalasala from Osthe, and my biggest surprise, ethirneechal adi from ethirneechal.

Working with MDs in the 60s to latest young talent Anirudh in 2013, his lyrics spanned generations and still kept himself relevant throughout the years.

Vaali is certainly my pick for greatest tamil lyricist ever.
