Picked up the Skaven Stormfiend kit for a great price looking to poxy them as Hellbrutes looking for some help with ideas

So to start out I'm putting them on quark to elevate them slightly to offset the height difference.

I have some dreadnaught and hellbrute bits but I really like the look of the Stormfiend weapons, I we thinking of swapping some of their weapons around to give them different weapons on each arm.

What's your experience with this kitbash?

Update: I'm a lets say frugal collector. I'm trying to figure out get the most bang out of the Corsair Combat patrol by kitbashing, as I have decent collection of Corsairs.

My plan so far is,

Wave Serpent - not a lot I can do with that part of the box, but make it and hope transport rules become kinder.

Skyreavers - I got a second box and I'm planning on using the Rifles from the Voidscarred kit to make them into 2 units of Swooping Hawks.

Voidreavers/scarred - I was thinking because I have a unit of each, I could between all the kits get enough female bodies to slap 5 swords and pistols on half of them Howling Banshees. Then I was thinking of taking the heavy weapons from the various kits and making up 5 Fire Dragons.

Karseth - I was planning on grabbing a holstered pistol and an sword in scabbard and making him in to Eldrad Ulthran.

Alternatively if the group consensus doesn't think I should go for Banshees, I was also toying with the idea of making the who pyschics from the voidscarred and an extra warlock helm from the fareer on bike kit and make a warlock conclave.

help with some inspiration kit bashing, Aeldari Corsair combat control

I picked up the Aeldari Corsairs Combat Patrol, and got a good deal on some Skyreaves, since I already have 2 units of Skyreavers, voidreavers with rifles, and voidscarred, I intended to put the rifles on the 10 Skyreavers and bash them as Swooping Hawks, then Bash Karseth into Eldrad, and I'm wondering second Voidscarred or voidreavers with pistol and sword? OR is there a kit bash for them I'm missing?

It's all in the title I was thinking about this and was wondering if anyone had done this?

Getting ready to paint active cammo(rangers and shroud runners) if anyone has done so with turbo dork shifting paint what type and color do you use?

Title is a TL;DR the explanation being I've taken to turbo dork for the shimmering nature of my Harlequins, using Romeo & Juliette over a zenithal it does well to illustrate the shifting nature of their suits.

I was thinking of something similar for the camo of the rangers, the idea was the suits and ponchos in flux and the the bottom set to the ground. Not sure about the transition. For imperium tech I'd use a hard shift, but for Aeldari I feel a more subtle transition fits their tech.

Thoughts an experience welcome!

Picked my dad up a lil native lock back. Anyone have strong feelings against it?

My dad's a tiny guy and he's got small hands, so I opted for the lil native in the lock back because well he's in his 70's and I really don't want him learning a new lock system to end in a trip.for stitches(he's that kind of guy where he'd finally away to make a compression lock dangerous.

I have a native 5 and a lil native I like both and I think the size will work for him but I've never handled the lil native lock back, like the title says anyone have negative feelings against the lil native lock back?

I recently started having arthritis like symptoms(Swelling, joint pain, limits in mobility) and it's effecting my ability to pick, does anyone have any tips or tricks to work though this sort of thing?

It's a recent thing in the last 6 months I can only pick for 10-20 minutes until the swelling or pain catches up, I have tried NSAIDs as a way to work longer, and it works but I don't want to have a constant strain on my liver/kidneys filtering them out of my system for a hobby. I'm already on the standard vitamins and supplements for joint issues, but I'm looking for anyone's suggestions who works though these sort of symptoms and still enjoys the hobby.

I love the Manix 2 but it's a high maintenance knife.

I've had the Cru-Carta Manix 2 since December, and for the longest time I thought I had a bad copy because it wasn't always drop shut. Then I realised that, it was pocket lint that was the culprit unlike compression locks that I've never really had a problem with. the Manix 2 needs to either be cleaned out with cotton swabs and or eyelash glue applicators, or compressed air every so often to keep it working buttery smooth.

I'm building Windriders right now and I'm trying to figure out the best weapon, is it Shuriken Cannon(single)?

I'm looking at profiles and abilities and it seems liker the scatter laser is best for weak hordes, and with the ability as is, the single shuriken cannon is best lethals, best strength and AP. Is there something I'm missing about the unit?

I could make a list but I'm struggling with what detachment to take, what will synergize most.

I've seen the kitbash it seems straightforward, I've also heard that it's worth it to have a unit of guardians. Looking for input from civilian guardians(casual players) and those that tread the path of the warrior(competitive players).
