There have been discussions about mods that increase the difficulty of the game as opposed to lowering it, and Chuddies are already lobbing accusations of vibecoding at a mere mention of a difficulty increase. So I've been thinking...

When life gives you a game, don't vibecode a mod - make the damn thing yourself! Get your hands dirty! I don't want your generated code, what am I supposed to do with this? Demand to see the programmer who thought I'd settle for some AI slop? Make the mod yourself! Write the code! Debug it! Do the documentation! Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna make a mod with his own bare hands! From scratch! I'm going to make a mod that's going to burn your data center down!

Is it even possible to play with randoms in this game and not just your own group? Like, 80% of the time when I try to join a random lobby its one of stupid scenarios:

1. Server is full
2. Failed to join lobby
3. Some braindead host who instantly kicks you instead of just pressing one button in settings to set his lobby to private if he doesnt want randoms
4. Lobotomized people who spend 30 minutes doing nothing on the map and burn through all the reinforcements, theres no point in even playing there (Id clear it faster even solo)

Everyone is always typing in chat expecting people to read it instead of just turning their mic on and communicating. I read people in the past used to talk in mic then it stopped. Typing in chat is useless as it just disappears. You think people would just turn their mic on to immediately communicate.

We've got two tanks both with Fixed guns... One loosely based off the M109/Leopard/ETC, and One that is just straight up a fucking STUG (Sturmgeschutz)...

Why haven't they added a fucking proper Abrams styled tank or Sherman or FUCKING TIGER IF WE'RE GOING TO RIP OFF THE GERMANS...

i dont wanna spend 8 pounds on a game i play for fun and get 2 fucking armour sets, mid guns and none of the cool stuff in the superstore, at the same time the stuff in the superstore is so expensive, i gotta spend 8 pounds again to get the drip with the shitty armour passive. ppl say why dont i just grind sc for this stuff and thats because i'd get 8 pounds worth of sc faster if i just didnt play the game at all and worked a minimum wage job for a day, hell with a days pay at a minimum wage job i could buy most the warbonds and thats what arrowhead wants, they just want you to give them money than play the game and grind for super credits, they dont care about what it does to the player because if half the ppl dont buy the warbond when they double the price they dont lose money, its bs and this game used to be a role model on how to do live service

Either give the tank a 360 degree rotating turret or make the main armament usable by the driver. Right now we have the worst of both worlds a tank with no minimal traversal of weaponry with its turret by also requires 2 people to operate.

The game has got a lot of problems, and what are we doing about it? Bitching, moaning, shouting at each other, and pretending that somehow the next Reddit argument is gonna fix everything. Meanwhile the community keeps getting more and more divided, and everybody acts surprised when nobody can agree on anything. Real ones will see the issue for what it is, and it really pains me to think about it cuz I really care 'bout y'all.

Real talk, I hate how limiting this whole consensus structure is. We've all been waiting to dive into the real substance so here I go, watch me lay out the truth: Why do we need to keep dragging everything through the middleman? Why do we need twenty different sides, each with their own opinion, fighting over who gets to decide what the game should become? The vulgar crowd isn't some unified entity with a grand plan. It's chaos. Pure chaos. Everybody's got an opinion, everybody's got a solution, and somehow we're still standing in the same place. So ask yourself this: what would actually fix it?

Give the control to one guy. One guy with an actual vision. One guy who's willing to grab the bull by the horns and say enough is enough, this is where we're going. No more bitching between "sides", no more endless bickering, no more trying to make everybody happy when nobody even agrees on what happiness even is. I must say, wow.... Arrowhead really does not play above Difficulty 4 because 4 tubes per mission is like... I don't even have an analogy, it's beyond worthless. You are better off taking the reinforcements booster compared to this because 4 spare reinforcements could do much more than 4 EATs. And that doesn’t even scale past Difficulty 5. At D10, it amounts to a drop in the ocean. It's just pathetic. Like I said in previous threads, HeadArrow should've made it 2 call-ins for each Helldiver. Ideally it would be just free EAT call ins all match long, now that's how you shake up the meta (by introducing another OP one lol, they are called boosters after all).

Yet again, I'm brought back to the same question: Why should I take these over Vitality Enhancement, longer sprint, crackhead mode stims, and extra ammo? At the very least they could've given each squadmate 2 Leveller call-ins, not just a single EAT launcher.

The Spore Spewer is the single easiest objective in the game right next to the Illegal Broadcast

The Spore Spewer is so ridiculously easy that it barely qualifies as gameplay. It can be taken out by literally anything from any distance, no user input required. Just breathe in their general direction and they're out. And the average Joes will come out of the woodwork to say "It's FuN", "I aLrEaDy StRuGgLe On Diff1", "I dOn't WaNt ObJeCtIvEs To ReQuIrE AnY sKiLl", and "I wIlL rEvIeW bOmB aRrOwHeAd If ThEy ChAnGe It".

I'm so heckin disappointed that nobody brought up the orbital laZzzer in lieu of the orbo napalm bombardage controversy. this stratagem genuinely makes me go ZZZZzzzz more than the orbital crutch barrage, like seriously.

I think the shittiest thing about this wasted potential of a stratgem is its 3 excruciatingly LONG cooldowns. Like, I can go to my local 7 eleven, buy a big ass Family Guy Car Panini, gobble the whole thing up, wipe my mouth with hot chip and tissue paper, get back to my keyboard (Sorry, I was AFK) and the Orbo LazZZZzzer will still be on a cooldown and you ONLY get 3 of them for the whole mission. Like, what is this shitfest?

I also don't think it's balanced at all due to the fact that when you throw them at bot CASTLES it immediately trivializes them. It's like taking candy from a little defenseless kid that happens to be a fucking knock-off Terminator running on Super Earth Brain smoothie. Like I genuinely can't with this. Are you guys keeping up with my pace? I'm running the oxygentaor armor Passive while writing this thoughtful Game analysis Critique essay review Bomb Movie documentary so if you feel like you can't keep up then that might be the reason why. Anyways, I think it's a terrible Overpowered stratagem that needs to be nerfed then buffed again so that it still feels like a nerf.

Did I mention that one time when one of my super genius teammates did a TK with the Orbital LaZZZzzer? The stratagem has crazy tracking! It like tracked me to my exact position on the map even though there were other enemies in the near vicinity which it could've gone after. But, oh no! It had to be me! I was away from my keyboard and going for another Car Panini but that's besides the point.

I think HeadArrow should nerf its tracking. Not only will it create positive gameplay experience (FUN!!), but it will be super, did I mention it, FUN. Like, picture this. You throw the stupid stratagem for which you wasted a strtagem slot (You could've picked the Supply Pack honestly, What the hell were you thinking?) and instead of tracking your AFK ass it actually stays in place. It shoots the bean down wherever the stratagem bacon is without moving as much as an INCH. I think that'd be a great and fun way to spice up the stale Peacemaker/Liberator/HE grenade meta, but that's besides the point.

My overall issue with this stratagem is that it makes me go eepy due to how boring it is. This ain't no Orbital Laser, this a Orbital LaZZzzzer !

so I got around to filling my C-01 Permit but fucking ARROWHEAD had to screw things up. I was in middle of a match with three other dudes and then a Pelican swooped in to drop a squad of SEAF soldiers (my most beloved blueberries). I was about to hit that hug emote near one of them but then ARROWHEAD activated my state-mandated brain chip and streamed HIGH frequency Delta-Gamma-whatever-the-fuck-waves directly into my brainstem.

All my thoughts of OhDough's doughy biceps were overridden with the picture ALEXUS' bald head and pudgy smirk in an instant. It was like that, poof, unsolicited images of someone's bald spot. SO I fucking tapped in the stratagem code of the stupid underpowered melee stratagem from that fuck-awful Viper Commandos Warbond, I think it needs to be buffed to deal 999999999 damage, waited 10 FULL FUCKING SECONDS for it to drop, blessings be to ARROWHEAD. Then it dropped.

It smashed one of my squadmates into a fine paste which temporarily knocked out all the pictures of Alexus' baldspot from my mind only for them to resume and to urge me to ignore my fallen comrade and grab that underpowered stratagem of a chainsaw. The host was screaming into voicechat to reinforce the other dude but I couldn't care less. I revved it up, creepily. I stared at one of the blueberries, hungrily. I began to close the distance between me and the object of my obsession, the SEAF soldier. I paid no attention to my fallen teammate's pleas for reinforcement (He fucking spammed it in middle of an ion storm, what a noob) for they were secondary to my state-mandated, frequency-transmitted goal of sawing a SEAF soldier in half. But you will never guess what happened next.

The host kicked me. Fuck Arrowhead.

Genuinely asking because the Helldivers 2 balancing, the constant nerfs, and apparent hatred for the playerbase are starting to feel like a human rights violation.
