Hi. As the title says, I have a bit of a problem with insurance. I'll try to keep it short, but if you need more detail please ask so I can clarify.

Around 2 months ago, we were on the 611 road. Unfortunately, something bad happened. A truck beside us had loose load, or it's tyre burst, something happened that caused a lot of debree to fall right on the road. Because we just rather were merging onto 611, the speeds were just around 60-80.

The debree fell on the road, bounced right back and unfortunately it was so perfectly aligned that it went under our car and took the radiator out immediately.

That's what we thought. After immediately pulling over and seeing the damage, it semeed liked the radiator was definitely dead.

Now, it was a lot of fight with the insurance who didn't even help us getting the free tow service. Since then, we've anyways lost so much money here and there to get the car somewhere. But even if that's a few hundred to some thousands, it's all neglidable.

The offending vehicle which did this immediately fled the scene. We did immediately call the police over after 3-4 minutes. They came, they knew this and they even told they tried chasing him down. Asked us for details, we don't have a dashcam nor did we record as we were all in shock. All we knew it was a Mitsubishi Fuso type truck with Sharjah registration. It of course wouldn't be enough

The police eventually opened a criminal case because, the offending vehicle wasn't there. This wasn't the crash report, so? The insurance never acted or helped us repair our car. It has been sitting since 2-3 months at this point.

The police eventually told they were not able to track the truck which did this and turned it into an "Assault case"

I'm curious now:

I understand feelings don't translate into law or business. But genuinely, every party knows we were NOT at fault. Is it our fault the offending vehicle fled? The insurance has not helped us at all, even one little bit. No rentals, nothing were provided because they insisted on the police crash report.

Is there anything that can be done? The police insists on just "wait more" since then. Because the case is technically open. I know nobody here can give a firm "nah, you're done for" or "yeah, waiting can help", but maybe some lawyers here have experience and can comment if this will go anywhere?

The estimated repair bills for this are 20K. Apparently, a lot more, not just a radiator was very damaged and needed replacement. Not a casual 5K or something like that. We genuinely can't afford this casually especially when we were not even at a accidental fault.

Like the title suggests, on paper I'm actually very boring. I don't even listen to music for starters, barely watch anything or have any preference for any type of entertainment. This just scares so many people off and hey it's fair!

What I'm actually into is probably more nerdy things that of I.T, engineering based (things like infrastructure, not limited to trains or power distribution, yeah that stuff)

As for games generally Modded MC is kinda all I play. I just for whatever reason don't play many other games.

I'm also someone who just likes to discuss deep things, matters of life and whatever, I can be very much not dry for those conversations ^^

Finally lastly I'm not someone who's just bored to post this like many here seemingly are. Many just chat like once and basically disappear for ever. I'm genuinely always looking for something real that can last.

Though I'm currently on vacation, back home and trying to get a barebones apartment set up so. Still fairly bored throughout the day.

Hi. I can include more details as needed, I do not want to write everything but just the summaries of what happened, so do ask if more info is needed for clarity

So the TLDR is:

Back around in late 2023 we got a car for 57K aed in Dubai from someone which turned out to be barely viable for driving use. We contacted an law firm and took the person to court. After like a year of back in forth, finally the court agreed that he should pay us around 42K total in installments and we give the car back. All good right?

Recently he filed a case against us citing that the car we gave in return is not in good condition and needs 49K.

I don't get it, can someone just give me an idea if this will hold true in the court at all or are they just trying their chances so we just give up and give them the money back?

Honestly I don't know what to write here. This is honestly going to be my first time trying this at all.

For starters I'm into I.T, Tech stuff, and what have you :) it's been my passion since forever and I wish to work in the field too. I of course don't require my partner to also have this but it definitely can act as a foundation.

I'll be super honest, I don't think I'm really that attractive, good looking or anything of the like. I probably look just ok as a friend. Ok enough in pictures, and what have you. Nothing fabulous or great about it. I exist. It's unfortunately just that type of energy.

I've been just feeling very dead and lonely for the past few months. Almost had panic attacks over someone online I was obsessed with (!) and it really left me thinking my social space is very dry, and I literally just have nobody... nobody that genuinely could care about me... nobody I can just DM a thought stuck in my head. I resort to AI so often I keep running out of free limits.

It's pathetic honestly. But it is what I'm working with. I'd rather be super honest however life has been treating me.

I'd consider myself pretty sweet, pretty emotionally mature, someone who you can really actually sit down and discuss life with. I fantasize amazing terrain of that of say the Alps, and we just discussing our thing out.

As for geography I'm currently in the gulf. But depending on one of my LDF's will, he said he'll try to see if there's any role for me so I can basically immigrate to Europe for a while. Could just be a few months, maybe a few years. But I believe if we make a bond in any time distance won't stop us. We'll do whatever to make sure we can stay together.

I'm unsure if I've written a lot or whatever, definitely more than what others have! I apologize but I'll probably adapt as needed :) do DM for any questions. I'm not just ONLY looking for a partner, if you're someone who can be serious about a friendship too, something deep and meaningful I'm always very open for it too. I don't mind switching between it as time goes on. I just want people who I can talk about our history with and make meaningful memories, I don't want to reset people every few months.
