Crane fly. Escorted out of the room afterwards but it put up quite the fight.

Taking the kid for a walk.

I think this is a larva from her nest which dropped for some reason. Just noticed it laying on the terrace and one wasp trying to fly off with it, but it was a tad too well-fed.

The 4 rats of the Apocalypse. But instead of bringing Conquest, War, Famine and Death, they bring 24 Scythers each.

Fuck those 4 rats in particular.

I don't need this many sculptures, but I'll gladly take the eye and medicine. To inevitably replace an eye lost while fighting the Scythers.

My work supervisor is small as hell. And green. If I don't paint the wood well she throws singular grains of sand at me. Thumbnail for scale.

No idea what kinda buge this is. Sorry.

Today's bean slop, mimicking someone's vomit on the sidewalk after having soup earlier. I plan on blowing a hole in the back of my pants. Was delicious.

This pot contains almost half a kilo of canned white beans, two large carrots, potatoes, celery, leek, canned peas, caramelized onions, fried mushrooms, large amounts of minced garlic, and quince juice for a hint of sourness. Doesn't look great on a plate, but my family liked it, so good enough. :] We will all have holes in our pants, together.

A hearty radish, might chop it into my salad for a nice crisp in each bite, but only if the rest of the salad is also only one bite big.

Actually it won't even be crispy, it was soft and floppy.

Everyone was too pleased about me walling Florida off in my last post. Added more Florida to compensate.

Spent way too long drawing this map, but turns out it's actually pretty fun. Boring man's sketch and coloring book.

Got eaten alive when visiting Vain in my first week being alive, vowed to not go back there until I got stronger, faster, tougher. It's been over an in-game month, I went back, just to hit the Hive store and leave. Guess what happened.

I do have a pretty big squad now, but I had them trek somewhere else to trade and beat up bandits because they're slower than my first character.

The worst thing about having to wake up at 4:30AM randomly in the week is the fact the entire eating schedule for the day goes out of the window. Overripe nectarine, granola bar, chunk of gouda cheese and half a liter of boiled water, so I don't starve until the communal family dinner.

Had to get up that early to eat breakfast in peace, crawl out of my house in the woods, and make it to the nearest city for my uni exam at 8AM. Technically I could eat dinner by myself earlier, but it's an unspoken rule to eat dinner together.

Making a single serving of pasta just for myself. Two entire onions for the sauce is an optimal amount.

Usually 2 onions is what I use to make pasta sauce for a 2-day dinner for a family of 3, but they're not here to stop me right now.

Onion, mushroom and sour cream pasta but I added an egg like when making carbonara, and then cooked it until it was set, so now it looks a little bit like vomit. Eaten directly out of the pan so I have less dishes to do.

It's a single serving. It contains 2 entire onions, a pile of mushrooms because I cut too many, like two spoonfuls of sour cream, small bits of ham and a single beaten egg.

If you can believe it, there are actually 2 sandwiches hidden under the mountain of lettuce and tomato hill. Piling the lettuce on top of the sandwich would be too structurally unsound, so instead I had a fistful of lettuce in one hand to take big bites out of and the sandwich in the other.

Under the lettuce mountain (homegrown lettuce which is somehow surviving the onslaught of slugs) on a way too small plate (I love small plates and utensils) lies a hill of tomato slices (too much to stay on top of the sandwiches too), and under that a pair of sandwiches with mystery hard cheese from Finland (Finnish friend we hosted for a few days left it without the packaging) and meat paste.

Why doesn't the High Paladin eat the Small Paladin?

Characters seem to love levitating when I look away from them for a moment.

Bought Kenshi on a sale not too long ago, decided to not read too much about it and just try to figure stuff out as I go and explore. Didn't know I shouldn't go here while following a trader and got eaten alive later. So far 9/10 game.

Forgive me if the red text is hard to read, the image was made in 2 minutes in MS Paint in a certain emotional state.

Also, I was under the impression NPCs can be attacked by wild animals? These Hive traders walked past the Gorillo and Beak Things literally stepping in their toes and neither party seemed to care.

ADHD medication taped to House's portrait to trigger a Pavlovian response.

Today I realized I've developed a positive Pavlovian response / placebo effect(?) to just seeing my ADHD medication (basically a stimulant) after forgetting to actually take it and feeling almost the same way as I do when it's actually inside my body. As I already had House's portrait set up by my laptop to observe me while I study, I decided to try and keep it up by placing the pill somewhere I could see it. Of course the most logical place to put it was in his hand so he could hold it up for me. Thanks doc.
