hesitation marks and the trilogy are my favourite nin projects. don’t get me wrong i love the older stuff but there’s just something about the newer material that speaks to me more. also the tension 2013 video is the most mind bending thing they’ve ever made
i’ve always had a lot of self hatred but recently i’ve become completely terrified of any kind of romantic relationship. i yearn for love and connection but whenever i hate myself which is most of the time i feel a very strong urge to push everyone away. i think it stems from my belief that no one could ever truly want me or choose me as they never have in the past. my previous relationships never really liked me that much and were just settling for me, and i feel like now that’s true with everyone. because truthfully why would anyone like me? im short, skinny, and i don’t have a nice body and i have several skin conditions and mental health conditions, as well as being autistic. even if i did get in a relationship i could never have sex as the idea of it petrifies me. i believe that anyone who says they find me beautiful is lying and im never what anyone truly wants and they’re just settling for me for some stupid reason

i think it’s a really fun and brilliant song. it’s really hopefully and full of joy which is great since it was the last song recorded by sp 1.0. the guitar leads on this song are also phenomenal. one of the few pumpkins songs to be in an odd time signature (3/4). also love the version of try, try, try that ended up being on machina ii and the version of age of innocence
there hasn’t been a thread about it for several years so i thought i’d open another one up. this release has two fantastic songs only released here (peace + love & 99 floors). also the version of gossamer on here is incredible
i really love this album, there’s 3 copies for sale on discogs but none of them ship to my country (england). is my best shot just waiting it out until another is listed?

I’ve listened to it a few times now and I enjoy it more every time. Not sure if i’m gaslighting myself into liking it lol but I enjoy pretty much every track and think there’s some great ones on here. I enjoy it most when I don’t take it seriously especially the more ridiculous tracks like Excelsior. If I just put it on as a fun unserious listen to wind down to it puts me in a good mood. RIP Zope though.
I love this box set so much, the design of it but also the soft material it’s made out of. It’s so gorgeous and easily my favourite thing I own. It’s really much more beautiful in person the photos don’t do it justice. The best design of any SP release imo. You can tell how much care and love went into this. Getting the Aranea Alba Editio at the same time really made the difference in quality shockingly apparent
The first time was the ‘That’s the Way It Is’ scene, the second was when John says ‘You’re my brother’ and Arthur’s death, and the third which surprised me was the final credits after American Venom. I expected to cry at Arthur’s death because I was at the edge of tears the entire chapter but I felt such a profound sadness watching the credits. It wasn’t so much depressing but emotional, almost happy in a way, sinking this much time into a game and seeing its conclusion. I fucking love this game so much, it’s easily my favourite game of all time. Does it get anyone else emotional in this way?
