Kicked out at 19 AMA

I got kicked out at 19, because my mother accused me of sleeping with her husband. (No, I didn’t do this. Ew.)

I asked my father if I could stay with him and his wife and two children, he told me no and slammed the door in my face.

I had to live with a coworker from work for 4 years for free until I got on my feet after having a baby at 20. (No guidance. I was dumb. And, convinced of keeping the baby, I wanted an smushmortion.)

Got into an abusive relationship from 18.5 to 26. Left after almost being killed in front of 2/3 of my children. Got a stable job and now, on my feet in a loving relationship.

Still no relationship with my parents. AMA?

Hi ladies ❤️

I’m in an interracial relationship and I feel like we have two different cultural upbringings as Americans.

He believes couple who aren’t married can count things as one. And start saying finances are “ours”. He’s very affluent and never asks me for money. He just pressures me to say his home is mine, and that I need to not have a single mindset of “mine” or “his”.

I told him, I will only start that once we are married. He swears I’m wrong. What do you ladies think?

We’ve been together for almost three years. I still have my own apartment and he has his own 5 acre home/property. He wants me to move in but I said no until we are married.

Any advice would be nice.

Thank you.

Does anyone work so much and get pulled in so many directions as a parent? That… at the end of the day the house is still dirty and there’s dishes in the sink, clothes still unfolded, but… you still feel “lazy”?

Please let me know what you do to overcome these thoughts. I take my Adderall XR 10 religiously. I just feel lazy because things aren’t done and clean 24/8. Is this ADHD related? My inner-critic?

Please advise.
