What sort of battery IS this???

Found this battery made by "Nippon Chemi-Con" in a bunch of batteries recycled by a customer. It's lighter than shit, like it weighs less than lithiums of the same size. The terminals look odd too, they're rounded down more than any normal battery.

Also what the hell does "22.5WV"? What is WV?? Watt-Volts??? I don't think that's a thing lmao, and besides how the heck could this tiny thing be 22.5 volts? That's insane.

I assume this is a Japanese made battery, as "Nippon" is a old/local word for the islands of Japan, translating to "origin of the sun."

Anyone have any ideas?

HELP! I can't place my camp ANYWHERE!

I have a 'maxed-out-build-budget' CAMP that I really really love. I put months and months of gradual development and love into it. I have been using a different CAMP for a few months now, and I made the HORRIBLE mistake of trying to move my OG camp when I went back to it a month ago. Since then I have not been able to place the CAMP. I always get that 'intersecting object' error message, no matter WHERE I try and place it.

Mind you, this ISN'T a Blueprint. It's just the stored CAMP. I asked Copilot what to do and it basically came back with "You're totally fucked", in as many words. So my question is, AM I totally fucked, or is there a chance I can come back from this and salvage my baby?

REAL Star Destroyer Firepower in Space Engineers (aka This May Be Too OP, lmao)

This is Razortron's "Star Wars Octuple Barbette Turbolaser Cannon Mod" (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=668044165%29), which has been officially discontinued (currently goofing around with some promising possible replacements), and 4 of these bad-boys have been installed on SauronLIFAD's Imperial-I Class Star Destroyer (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1195468363%29).

These are WeaponCore mods so the tubrolasers are kind of OP and have a RIDICULOUS rage of 6 KILOMETERS, but I swear they seemed to be firing at things that were far beyond that range, maybe as far as ELEVEN kilometers, LMAO. SO overpowered. Just as a Star Destroyer should be. :)

And even if they ARE overpowered, turbolasers are just cool OK? I like to have fun.

What Would it have looked like if the Rebels had set off a Nuke onboard an ISD?

Nuclear weapons are something barely brushed on in Star Wars. I have always wondered why; it's not like they would have had any shortage of nuclear materials, and even though energy weapons are really much more potent and more practical, a nuke might essentially cost less to produce and utilize than all the energy required for turbolasers, let alone a superlaser. I'm no actual engineer here though, I play an engineer in a video game lol. So I might be way off on that.

That being said, I decided that I would simulate a rebel cell smuggling a tactical "mini-nuke" into the hangar bay of an ImpStar Deuce (rebel pilot-speak for the Imperial-I Class Star Destroyer). I did this in the game Space Engineers. It was pretty devastating, but I wanted to go further with it, so I put a full-on nuclear warhead into what remained of the hangar bay area, and THAT was VERY devastating.

A look at Middleton Wisconsin's Museum of Mustard!

A kind of goofy place, but in a good way! They also have a Mustard shop with a tasting bar!

These are the spicy 'pillows' I get to deal with at work, in addition to the usual phone and laptop batteries

The customer brought them in for recycling in a cardboard box. I had to cut the box apart to get them out, they were fused together into one big clump that you could pick up as a single unit.

Two VSFF (Very Small Form Factor) 1.8-inch Mechanical Hard Drives: a Toshiba 250 Gigabyte 5400-rpm drive + a Hitatchi 30 Gigabyte 4200-rpm drive

Yeah, that's right, it's a 1.8\" VSFF (“very small form factor”) 250GB mechanical hard drive! How cute! Also how SLOOOOW at just 5,400 RPM! This thing needs to go! SSD upgrade time! YEEhaw!

I previously had no idea what to even call this connector but from my research, it is apparently known as \"Micro SATA\".

As you can see, at 250 GB's, it's actually kind of thick for it's size, to accommodate the extra platter

This is the laptop mainboard end of the connection. As you can see there is a missing adapter that I am currently searching for. Also please excuse the filth, this thing was in the basement for a very long time and I obviously have a dog that sheds...heavily lmao.

This one was taken out of my old Creative ZEN Vision media player, probably one of the best things I've ever owned. It's really a shame Creative got out of the portable media player business. This little guy is a whopping 30 Gigabytes and runs at a snails pace, at just 4,200 rpm

The bare naked behind of the drive, showing the connector, with a connected ribbon cable, connnecting in turn to an adapter card that allows me to hook the drive up via...something, it's been years, I don't remember

As you can see this thing is VERY thin. After all, it was sandwiched into this thing below:

Behold the Zen Vision Portable Media Player, brought to you by Creative Technology, the speakers and sound cards guys. It was fire, especially back in 2005. I took it to with me on a family trip to Italy and did not regret.

Recurring display issues with an iPhone 14 Plus

A customer brought in an "iPhone 14" for a screen repair, and like a damn nube, I forgot to cross-reference that with the IMEI. Later, towards the end of the repair, I was preparing to put the new screen on and it was just comical as I lowered the OLED screen to the phone and was like "this isn't even the right size". 🤣

After checking the IMEI and deducing that it was actually a 14 Plus, I went to get the correct screen, and of course the only two we had were LCDs and their boxes were previously opened; one was hand labeled "tried in a phone, touch didn't work, try on another phone", the other "may be faulty". Good grief.

I opted to go for the one with the touch issue, and it appeared to work fine. But two days later the customer came back in with a black, completely dead screen.

I tried the other screen and, well, it's definitely faulty 😂, see the photos.

My big question here is, how common are faulty out-of-the-box screens? These are non-Apple LCDs, I think our vendor is "ABS" or "MobileSentrix", I don't do the ordering much.
