I NEED a New Flavor Profile!
I've been fairly serious about cooking for the past year, trying to cook an involved 2-3 hour recipe each week. I need a new flavor profile though!
Many of the countries I try to cook from have (generally) given me 3 different profiles:
1: basic Americano (garlic, onion, paprika, cayenne, nutmeg)
2: countries that are Indian inspired (ginger, cardamom, coriander, turmeric)
3: Frenchie stuff (rosemary, onion, thyme, wine)
But I'm looking for some new flavor profile that fall outside this. I love flavors made from reductions, but I'm willing to buy whatever spices for my rack so I can branch out!
Edit: Thank you so much for the recommendations! I posted this in the middle of work, and am surprised I got so many replies. I'm making a big list in note pad, and I'm saving it and gonna use it to research new dishes, as well as try many that you have all recommended
